I don't think anyone denies the fact Kobe is an elite defender, the fact of the matter is that he doesn't play his best defense night in night out anymore.... mainly during the regular season, hence why I don't believe he is truly an all-league defender anymore. When Kobe accepts the challenge, he can shut down probably just about anyone.

What indication has Steve Nash given that he is on the brink of retirement? The fact he just had his best season ever this past year? Or the fact that he is still a top 5 PG?

Nate is the 2nd most skilled bench player in the NBA behind Crawford so obviously it is him, JR Smith is a solid spot up shooter, and 'solid' is generous. Nate is more creative and if he ever learns to play with his head on straight, he could win the 6th man of the year every year.

I think Joe Johnson is the most realistic signing in Miami, I still see Bosh going to New York or LA before Miami. I think we should just trade for the BPA, hopefully that is Bynum, I am as scared of his injuries as anyone but he will do the best to replace Bosh's hole, plus he will make us better defensively.
