Gasol: Lakers Need Better Offensive Flow
Check my Stats replied to The Regime's topic in Los Angeles Lakers Team Forum
The entire team is shooting [expletive] %'s right now. Kobe has been pretty much pathetic as of late as well though. Shooting over 45% once over the stretch of 9 games is absolutely inexcuseable for a player of Kobe Bryant's stature, especially when he is insistent on taking 20 shots a game. I am just looking at some game logs here, and since the start of March (small sample size since I don't wanna look past there since I am lazy), the Lakers are undefeated when Kobe takes less than 20 shots. All their losses in March and beyond he has taken over 20 shots, save the games he missed of course. I know some of you hate Pau, but his points are valid. -
Toronto @ L.A. Lakers

Thank God I have hockey tonight. -
Barnes is a beast, I love seeing guys (more specifically role players) go at the untouchable players in the NBA once in a while. Don't look now but the Mavs are 3 games back of the Lakers.

Trade With The Best Impact So Far?
Check my Stats replied to MainEv3nt's topic in General NBA Discussion
Mavericks easily, like I thought, this move has probably vaulted them into a legitimate threat against the Lakers, they have a ton of talent and a ton of depth, they have the pieces for a deep playoff run, hopefully they can do it. You can determine the Cavaliers come playoff time, since this team was winning 60+ with or without Jamison. They acquired him for the playoffs, not the season. -

Just waive Baron Davis and that team would be awesome. -
Report: LeBron Wants To Be A Laker
Check my Stats replied to The Regime's topic in Los Angeles Lakers Team Forum
I don't think LeBron would be able to be on a team where there was question whether or not he is the best player on the team or not. I think he wants to start his own legacy, not add onto someone else's (Kobe). Besides, he wants to win? The Cavaliers are first in the NBA right now and considered favourites to win the NBA championship, so I don't see how he can 'want' to win when he already is. It would be epic for so many reasons if he went to the Clippers though. -
The Magic and Celtics are definitely contenders and both teams have a shot at beating the Lakers if they made the finals. Don't let these inconsistent stretches fool you, the Magic and Celtics still both have as much talent as is needed to win an NBA championship, they just need to put it together in time for the playoffs. But after acquiring Jamison, the Cavaliers should be the 1A favourites in the East, if they weren't already.

Is Andray Blatche the best big man in the NBA?
Check my Stats replied to kingfish's topic in Washington Wizards Team Forum
I can't tell if he is joking or not...? Anyways yeah that kid is pretty good, he still doesn't play a full 48 minutes though, but when he played the Raptors he turned it on in the 2nd half and we couldn't stop him. -
They have had this relationship for a while, everytime Cabbie hooks up with Kobe something funny comes of it.

Ya I think the best players in the world, or competitors, should be the ones representing their countries.

Raptor Free Agents: Who Should They Re-sign?
Check my Stats replied to Built Ford Tough's topic in Toronto Raptors Team Forum
We definitely should re-sign Amir if the price is right, hopefully no one comes in and offers him a 4 year MLE or something. We can afford to let anyone else walk since they are pretty replaceable, but I would like to bring Sonny back but Wright's play has been good lately, so either one would be fine for me since both are boneheads on offense at times. -
I might not even watch this game tonight.

As LeBron I am staying with the Cavaliers. They have shown a legitimate commitment to win, it is where he is from, his family is there, and they have done everything that I could have asked for. His ego would love the spotlight of NY, but he is winning in Cleveland already so that isn't an issue, and the Cavs lack of talent (if you wanna say that lol), is not from a lack of trying, they are obviously active in trade talk, every name that comes up the Cavs seem to be interested/in talks. Not to mention the city worships him. If I am LeBron I am considering NY and NJ as well, but eventually opt to go with CLE. I am guessing LBJ re-signs a 3 year deal with Cleveland, he will still be like 27 when that deal is up which leaves him time to sign one more MEGA DEAL With Bosh I am also gonna opt to stay in Toronto, the city worships him and are on their hands and knees begging him to stay. Being the man, main man, seems to be an important thing to Bosh, he is attached to Toronto and has built a home here. That extra 30 millions dollars don't hurt in light of a potential CBA dispute. The organization is committed to you and revamped the entire roster to appease you this past off-season, as long as management is committed to being a luxury tax team and to continue making moves to improve the roster, I see no reason why Bosh isn't staying. Other places to consider are NY, MIA and OKC, but ultimately being on a solid team, and being the 'man', outweighs the spotlight of NY and the upside of the OKC, let's not forget the Raptors are better than the Heat right now and close to OKC. As Wade, I think he is heading to his hometown of Chicago, it all just makes sense right now, the chance to play at home alongside Rose, Hinrich, Deng, Noah, lot's of solid pieces, it just makes too much sense to me. It will be hard to leave a place called home for 7 years like Miami, but they would rather wait a year, and waste a year of my career to take a chance on the 2010 crapshoot. Chicago is already better than Miami this year and adding Wade surely puts them in the Boston/Orlando/Atlanta group doesn't it? It will be hard to leave Miami, but Chicago is just too tempting to pass up. It will come down to CHI/MIA though IMO. All these guys are going to have a really hard time passing on that extra 30 million guaranteed dollars though, which is why I would not be surprised if all of them stay. -
LeBron says he does not get enough calls
Check my Stats replied to Hero's topic in Cleveland Cavaliers Team Forum
A lot of calls are missed on him because he finishes through contact so easily due to his strength, but he does get as many touch fouls as you could ask for so it really balances out. -
Jennings just reminds me of another Gilbert Arenas so give me Stephen.

Rivers plays his old guys like they are 25 still, he is an idiot.

Quit when I got a job. -
Too bad we can't play inspired defense like that for 48 minutes instead of 5. I thought the Wiz had this with around 6 minutes left, Jack was determined to not let us lose though, thankfully we pulled out the W.
