  1. Iunno, I like Dallas' roster as it stands. They need more production out of Howard but outside of that they have a lot of damn talent.
  2. Reggie is said to be making his return/debut today! We better win, gain some ground on the top teams and continue to separate ourselves from the teams below us.
  3. Don't understand why this deal is not done yet. Amare is a decent 2nd option offensively, he needs a legit big next to him since he isn't a C. But this is a great start in helping keep Wade, Amare is a star. Beasley is as good a young player you could ever ask for someone like Amare.
  4. 1. Kobe 2. Wade 3. Joe Johnson 4. Roy 5. Monta Ellis I guess
  5. How is McGrady going to dominate the offense in Philly? Lol... they can't find enough shots for their players already.
  6. Donte for his upside and I think he has a unique skillset. But someone needs to ream this kid the [expletive] out, he is trigger happy and doesn't play defense. I think he can be a good player but he launches lot's of jumpers and doesn't take advantage of the size mismatches he causes when he has a smaller guy on him.
  7. This is exactly why Kobe needs to be more of a facilitator. He doesn't NEED to score, this team has as much offense as you could ask for. Kobe only really needs to be aggressive offensively in the last 5 minutes in a close game. If his shot is falling or he is feeling it, aight take how ever many shots you want, but when it's not just stop shooting brah. Also Bynum to the bench is interesting, he would dominate bench bigs in the league on offense, and would probably enjoy being the primary offensive option in the post. He's a kid though and would probably pout if he had to come off the bench. The Lakers surely are not better without Kobe, but they are still a very dangerous team.
  8. Why are you speaking on the off-season already?!? Getting Johnson in FA is probably your best bet if you don't land Bosh, which I personally don't think he will want play under Wade's shadow but that is just me. I really like JJ and him and Wade could probably play the 1 and 2 since both can handle, wouldn't need a PG really. Why would you want Gilbert Arenas? I would never want that no-defense chucker on my team. If you could bring JJ and Boozer in that would be pretty good, both are right under max value deals so could you afford that?
  9. Only players I see switching teams is T-Mac, Amare, and Caron. I am convinced the Rockets and Bull will eventually strike a deal that will allow the Bulls to keep Kirk. If not Laker fans might finally get their wish. Caron seems as good as gone, Jamison will go if the Wizards can set aside their differences with the Cavaliers but that is totally up in the air it seems. I see the Cavaliers having to settle on someone like Murphy at the deadline, I would be surprised if Amare was moved, even with all the rumours.
  10. Why on earth would the Suns trade Amare for KG? Lol... Anyways I was convinced this was still the best team in the East when they are healthy, but with their recent play (like 10-12 since Christmas?) I am not so sure. I don't think any trade at this point can make this team any better than they currently are. If they make a move I think it should wait until the off-season.
  11. I don't watch the Heat but why does Beasley play the 4 all the time? I was under the impression he was more of a 3. I think his size and rebounding ability at the 3 would outweigh his defensive liabilities there. Why not run Wade-QRich-Beasley-Haslem-JO? Considering the Heat aren't a particularly great rebounding team, starting Haslem, the team's best rebounder, would be ideal in theory, would it not?
  12. Why would you wear a watch when cell phones tell time?
  13. Wrestling used to be badass, it is watered down now but is still alright. I feel bad for YOU if you didn't like Stone Cold Steve Austin or The Rock in your childhood or 10 years ago. Wrestling was awesome from 98-02.
  14. Wade wouldn't hold the ball much more than he already does lol. Only difference would mean he is guarding PG's instead of SG's. Wade already turns it over quite a bit, I don't think this type of move will fix the Heat season. I would definitely, as a Heat fan, rather the ball be in Wade's hands than Chalmers or Rafer though.
  15. And the Lakers are going to add salary onto their payroll with a trade? Would be kind of crazy if they lost Phil because of trying to pay him less.
  16. On a player by player basis I think you are wrong in saying their casts are equal, in fact it isn't even close. Like RD said in another thread the Lakers have like 5 guys capable of averaging 15+ a game, the Cavaliers have 2, maybe 3 if Shaq can actually play every game but that is still shaky. You make a good point though, LeBron's cast compliments his game perfectly, which is what makes them so great. Of course the Lakers would be worse off without Kobe but they would probably be able to adjust much easier because of the individual talent they have is so much better. LeBron is probably in on or responsible for like 70% of the Cavaliers buckets. He plays PG and SF for this team basically. You take LeBron out of the offense they will be the worst offensive team in the NBA, or close to it. If you take Kobe off LA they are obviously worse, but they just have too much talent for me to be convinced they are not a borderline 50 win team. That is what separates LeBron and Kobe IMO, LeBron can't have a bad game because no one can pick him up. But if Kobe doesn't have it working he has Pau, Bynum and Artest and even Odom who can pick up the slack offensively. If LeBron is stinking with his jumper he will just go out and get 15 assists. Kobe will just continue to launch 18 footers, or just dump to a big. LeBron has the load offensively all the time, especially with Mo out. Personally I just can't wait to see what happens if LeBron plays with a legitimate all-star in the future. I wonder if he is capable of playing off the ball. I wonder if the Cavaliers would be truly better with Jamison or Stoudemire in the mix. I think LeBron is the only player in the NBA that could make any team he is on great.
  17. If they trade him for Kevin Martin or Monta Ellis I guarantee they will not win a championship with this core again. He is also one of the Celtics who has remained relatively healthy over the years playing 70+ games each year. He is in a slump right now but I don't think there is anyone who could fit their SG role better than he does. Re-signing him is a whole other question though. I mean what does he want? He probably wants one more decent deal like 3 years but the C's can't really afford that. If they are sure they cannot re-sign him to what they want then dealing him makes sense. I hope for Allen's sake he doesn't think he is worth much more than the MLE anymore.
  18. You could say that for any player in the NBA. LeBron is not a reckless player, he is a great open floor player but with his strength how often do we see him get knocked down? If he gets hurt, it probably will not be because of his supposed reckless play.
  19. 2nd easiest compared to what? 2nd easiest in the entire NBA or among the 4-8 seeds in the East? If the entire NBA that is pretty sick, lol.
  20. Oh ya, true. I wonder what would have gone Atlanta's way. Obviously nothing good, they came to their senses at the last minute, it seems.
