Because they want to feel like they are a part of the team, and they basically are. If your team wins the championship, you win the championship too.

Bargs and Bosh might be the best big man duo in the NBA right now, they are tearing it up. If only we could get something out of 5/53 we would be golden. First time 2 games over .500 this year, beast.

I think this dude expected the Heat to smash us on our floor even tho were so hot lately lol....

Salami and cheese baby.

Wow at Bosh, wish he finished that. Am I the only one who feels like this is Raps vs Wade?

Hollinger's Midseason Award Winners

LeBron was quite easily the MVP last year. How was Wade even close? By your criteria, Wade carrying the team on his own to 50 wins, LeBron would already have 5 MVP's since he has been doing that his ENTIRE CAREER. LeBron was not only the best player on the best team last year (record wise of course), he was also the most dominant and easily the most valuable player in the NBA. LeBron is once again this year, the best player in the NBA, and on currently the number 1 team in the NBA. I don't know how you can go against LeBron right now, especially if the Cavaliers continue to dominate withou their 'allstar' Mo Williams. Way too much credit was given to Mo last year, the Cavs were winning 60 games with or without Mo last year. Anyway you slice it, LeBron was the MVP last year, and is again this year, especially with Kobe struggling right now no one is even close. -

Ehh, don't really disagree with any of his choices, AV definitely shouldn't be DPOTY IMO though, he is a key part but is by no means a defensive anchor IMO, G-Wall or D12 or maybe even Jsmoove would get this over him in my books. Everything else looks about right, Ridnour is basically matching his career numbers so I am kind of confused by that decision, Brook Lopez and David Lee are two guys I would probably take over him, maybe even Bargnani to an extent but that may be biased. LeBron is definitely the MVP of the NBA though, I don't know how you could go with Kobe in light of his recent play combined with the fact LeBron beat him TWICE this year. -
DeMar DeRozan Injured

[expletive], this means we will have a questionable decision-maker in the game at the 2 ALL NIGHT LONG. -
Jack is awesome, he and Leo both know the game obviously, but Jack is much more humble and funny at times, whereas Leo is just a douche who tries to teach us basketball, as if the fans watching haven't figured out how to shoot a jump shot yet (I love when he talks about the rotation the ball needs to get the friendly bounce ). Chuck was awesome but he was so bias it wasn't funny, he had good catch phrases and you would love how emotionally attached he felt to the team, he was a true Raptors fan calling the games. Devlin is somewhat more professional, his nicknames and catchphrases are extremely annoying at times, but I don't mind him when he is with Jack. Overall Leo is pretty intolerable, the rest is whatever. EDIT: Devlin messes up names quite a bit too which is very annoying.

Idiot. -
Ariza is a role player trying to be a big time contributor. He is at his best focusing on defense and spot up 3 point shooting. He isn't even the Rockets best player, Brooks is.
-
Because they are the best team in the NBA with the best player in the NBA right now, that is why. Unless Beasley comes out and drops 30 the Cavaliers will win. The Cavaliers still have 2 deadeye shooters on the roster which is all they really need.

West is out too? Damn, Cavs will still win by double digits I think.

Antawn Jamison wants to be an all star
Check my Stats replied to JWaLL's topic in Washington Wizards Team Forum
Stephen Jackson should get major consideration for an all-star spot as well over someone like Jamison, idk if he is classified as a guard or forward but just saying. Typically I don't like when record is held against someone for an asg spot, but at 14-29, without anything particularly amazing in your stats, you simply are not getting in the game. I do agree Jamison is the Wizards best player, but in their current state, that is not saying much. -
I just prefer that the best players start in the game to celebrate the best players of that particular season. It bugs me that a role player like KG is starting in the all-star game. I probably won't even watch but I get annoyed that Iverson and KG are starting when they shouldn't even be there to begin with.

Suns and Cavs talking Stoudemire trade
Check my Stats replied to The Regime's topic in Cleveland Cavaliers Team Forum
Depends whether or not the Suns have any value placed on Hickson and whether or not they think they can do better. Hickson and firsts is definitely comparable to the Pau Gasol deal, and would make the Cavs instant favourites to win it all, at least in my books. Amare played really well when paired with Shaq before IIRC. Again, if the Suns dealt Amare for Hickson and picks that would be as bad as the Gasol deal, absolutely horrible for the Suns. I definitely think this is speculation, sure the Cavaliers may be interested but I doubt the Suns are. This writer is comparing the Shaq deal to this potential deal, when really Shaq and Amare are valued 100% differently. -
He shouldn't for 2 reasons. 1 to be healthy and 2 to let the superior player start . Anyways I read on RealGM that he is 100% and they aren't worried about limiting his minutes in Boston, so I don't see why he would skip the game.
-
Now we have the easy part of our schedule, I forget what it is exactly but I saw it on RealGM, horrible teams. We better go at least 7-3 on this stretch. EDIT: I just went and grabbed the list: JAN Wed 27 vs Miami Thu 28 @ New York Sun 31 vs Indiana FEB Tue 02 @ Indiana Wed 03 vs New Jersey Sun 07 vs Sacramento Wed 10 vs Philadelphia Wed 17 vs Memphis Fri 19 @ New Jersey Sat 20 vs Washington Every single one of those teams are inferior to us IMO, anything less than 7-3 is unacceptable IMO.
-
You have to be able to score the ball to win, Shaq can no longer be the focal point of a team, and hasn't been able to for the past 3 seasons or so. Let's not forget Suns had a top 5 PG in Nash, a really solid big in Amare and a good wing in Richardson. Definitely a superior cast to the current Cavaliers cast. Again, you can believe that the Cavaliers would be in the playoffs without LeBron, just like I will continue to believe they would be a 25 win team without LeBron.

If anyone else is watching in Canada on the score post game, am I the only one who is sure Bosh is a huge pot head?

I know I'm just hating, you can say any excuse you want as to why you lost and I won't care. Most excited I've been during a Raptors game in a long time. I knew I should have blown off Hockey to head down to Toronto to watch, I thought it would be a double digit loss though.
