  1. Lmao. Anyways, glad we got the W. Admittedly I did not watch the game, basically for the same reason BFT was so annoyed lol. I don't know who it is up to, but someone needs to find a way to get our team pumped out of the 2nd half, we come out so flat, rather than coming out with our foot on the gas and try to close the game out early. I don't know if it is on the coaches, Bosh or whoever, but someone needs to get these guys fired up coming out to play the 2nd half. Bargnani looks like he had another nice game, the kid has been playing some really nice basketball lately. GTFO Bosh go to NY we don't need you we got IL MAGO! Maybe it is just me but whenever we play the Mavs I feel we have no chance at winning, Terry always seems to go off, Howard always plays well and Dirk always demolishes us. At least with the Cavaliers, for whatever reason, I feel like we can catch fire from the outside or or at least cause a mismatch on Shaq and maybe steal one. But it will be tough to take one of these games, if we could split the two games that would be awesome, but I doubt it.
  2. Good trade for Magic if they want to enjoy a 2nd or 3rd round exit. Sorry but Arenas is practically useless in a system like this, he isn't even a particularly great shooter he is just a volume shooter, he is a bad defender. I fail to see any sort of problems the Magic have, that trading for Arenas would address. I think the Magic team is good enough they just need to change their style of play, they can't expect to win with VC launching jumpers all game. They need to allow him to go to work from time to time, rather than just launch threes. I am curious as to how VC is averaging his lowest APG total in like 6 years, the Magic need to get this guy the ball more
  3. Considering how bad the Warriors are it isn't all that impressive as it normally would be. He is a good player but he is definitely not a franchise player IMO, he is also playing in a system that allows him to get A LOT of points quick. He also plays 42 minutes a game that is a [expletive]load, damn...
  4. OMG 51 points with 8 minutes left WTF? I thought it was the 3rd Q when I turned it on lmfao. Make that 53.
  5. I have decided to watch Smackdown tonight rather than risk becoming frustrated at the prospect of the Raptors losing another game they should and need to win. Jose is probably playing well off the bench, I don't know what is wrong with this guy lol.... nice to see us smashing the Knicks though.
  6. Dirk is a stud, top 10 NBA player no questions asked.
  7. Smh at Derozan not going right to the competition. Oh well, he should easily win this competition with Gordon. I didn't even know Gordon could get up.
  8. Hopefully we never have to see his mug in the NBA again.
  9. Has anyone seen Dwight try and make a post move? I stuck up for Dwight's post game in the past saying it was underrated, but watching him try and spin to the basket and hit a hook shot, that hits the backboard and not rim, just makes me go -_-. Yao would honestly dominate Dwight one on one. Dwight is also a pretty overrated defender IMO.
  10. Arenas has never been a good player IMO. He is PG, shoot first which is -_-. He shoots a lot from the perimeter, and shoots a horrible % for the number of shots he takes. Doesn't play defense. I honestly cannot think of a single quality about Arenas I liked, possibly his clutch shooting is something I am fond of. Just thought he was always an overrated chucker with a chip on his shoulder, would rather drop 50 than win the game. Arenas is not a star, he is not even a good player in my books. Not to mention his extreme personality flaws are being exposed now, I questioned his character before mostly as a leader, but this guy just flat out seems like a total douche bag. Definitely has been in my top 5 hated player list for the past 4 years or so lol...
  11. -The two PG line-up at the end of games -Blowing big leads by taking jumpshots and stopping what we did to get the lead -Jose Calderon -Sonny Weems & Antoine Wright -Lackadaisical, not giving 100% on nightly basis

  13. Highly doubt anyone is interested in him, only notable thing he has done is be the only guy from that Pistons team not on the all-star game and that highlight block on Reggie Miller. He is a solid role player but is paid as if he is a high end contributor. Nevermind the fact he has been hurt all year.
  14. The Flyers have screwed me over on pro-line more than any other team I have bet on. When I think they will win, they lose, I bet against them, they win. Douchebags IMO.
  15. Exactly, Toronto hardly sees any snow, really Toronto is just like a mini-New York... honestly -_- it just a bit colder and windier in the Winter, it is still hot as hell here in the Summer. People act like Toronto is Yellowknife, lmao. Anyways, I would love to know where all this "Bynum is a better defender than Bosh is" talk came from. Because Bynum is bigger he is a better defender? I don't get it lol... Anyways, like Celtics3420 said, if this deal was legitimately on the table, our GM has to ask Bosh, 'are you staying or are you going', because if he is leaving you do this deal, if he says 'Idk' at the deadline, you do this deal, if he says I am staying I don't do this deal. Bynum is probably the best piece we could get for Bosh in a trade, nevermind the risk of losing him for nothing. Still not sure how I would feel about a Bynum-Bargnani frontcourt but it would have to do, maybe as the franchise guy Bynum could take his game to the next level. Lakers it is a yes, Raptors it is a conditional yes. I was on the fence when I first heard the rumour, but now I am convinced the Lakers would be awesome with Bosh.
  16. This is just about Melo and Durant, not Kobe please Why do you guys think Melo is better? I am just curious.
  17. This year we are potentially going to see 3 undeserving players potentially make the NBA's All-star game, which is a game to celebrate players who are having particularly great seasons. Tracy McGrady, Allen Iverson and Kevin Garnett are all locked in to start the 2010 all-star game, but none of them have done anything to warrant getting into the game, let alone start it. Not to mention Amare should not be starting over TD, but that is just nitpicking really. So I ask you, should David Stern and the NBA adjust the selection process of the NBA all-star game? If so, how would you suggest they do so? For me I believe David Stern wants to keep fans engaged, and frankly I can't blame him, since he is in it for the money (as the commish lol) and fan involvement probably plays a big role in that, I wouldn't know I am just assuming. I would suggest that the fans be allowed to vote in any 5 players they wants, regardless of position or anything, as long as they are eligible like usual. However, I would suggest the NBA itself, players and coaches and whatnot, vote the starters in. The 10 players starting the all-star game, should be the 10 guys having the best individual seasons at their positions, not the fans' favourite players. I feel particularly strongly about this because I feel Chris Bosh, my favourite team's best player, is being robbed out of a starting spot in the all-star game. Chris Bosh is having a fantastic season and deserves all the recognition possible, but dumb fans are ruining the all-star game by letting in a guy like Kevin Garnett over Bosh at this point. Regardless of whether or not these 3 players take their spots or not, I believe something needs to be done. It's one thing to not have the best players in the all-star game, but it is another to not have the best players starting in the all-star game. The best players should be in the game, not the fans' favourite players and not the guys who they have seen on the ESPN highlight reels the most. Anyways, what are your thoughts on the issue?
  18. Which player is the better scorer?
  19. Anything above 1 you have to be decent IMO. I mean 1.25 or so is good because that means you are going like 13-10 or 26-20 or something like that. IMO, as long as you are above even then you have to be okay. Some kids are hardcore, but typically the kids that are diehard into their ratio are campers. Mine is 1.35, I consider that decent. 1.26 is solid for only having the game for 3 days though, you will probably get better the more you play and get used to where people hide and camp and stuff like that. ^^I disagree, if you are going even every time how are you 'bad'? Lol, if anything going .500 on your ratio is the definition of average. Having a K/D around 1 means you are average.
  20. So we have 4 votes but only 2 comments? Hmmm. Solid topic, especially the Yao-D12 one, I think one on one would show someones skills more, and Yao has twice the skill D12 does.
  21. Kobe would win if it was best of 3 or 5 or something for sure because he would figure LeBron out quick and then pick him apart offensively and defensively. In a single game though it honestly could go either way, I would probably have to say LeBron though. Yao would beat D12 if he is 100%, no doubt. At this point TD would easily win, 5 years ago probably KG, but Duncan is so much better now it isn't even funny. People still consider KG elite, but frankly Perkins is probably as good as KG is now. Dude is just breaking down.
  22. Lol, Vince has definitely been a disappointment for me this year. I thought he would take the Magic to the next level, but I never realized how incompetent Nelson was at running the offense. I understood Hedo ran the offense a lot, but I didn't realize he practically played PG for them, lol. 17 PPG on 39% though, I guess that is what happens when you expect VC to be a jumpshooter. I would take VC for Hedo too, but only because of the contracts lol. Frankly at this point I don't know if I want either of them, VC would probably be better suited in a role like Toronto though. I wonder if the Magic would do that though, it would definitely be interesting if BC proposed that lol.
