  1. How big was the Knicks payroll in the Isiah days? Just curious.
  2. Like the topic says. Who is the better player now, NOT who is the better player down the road/to build around. Here is a comparison from a statistical standpoint, note that I made less minutes better than more minutes. Danny Granger Stats http://a.espncdn.com/i/headshots/nba/players/65/2760.jpg 67 Games 36.2 MPG 25.8 PPG 2.7 APG -- 2.46 TOPG 5.1 RPG 1 SPG 1.5 BPG 3.10 FPG Efficiency Stats : FG: .447 - 3PT:.404 - FT: .878 Kevin Durant http://a.espncdn.com/i/headshots/nba/players/65/3202.jpg 74 Games 39.0 MPG 25.3 PPG 2.8 APG -- 3.04 TOPG 6.5 RPG 1.3 SPG .72 BPG 1.81 FPG Efficiency Stats : FG: .476 - 3PT: .422 - FT: .863
  3. Co-sizzle. Demo should be dropping any time, in stores September 15th But I pretty much co-sign, NHL10 is the only game I'll probably buy and remain interested in, and maybe Smackdown vs Raw 2010 if it is any good.
  4. Honestly don't know a single text effect -_- How can I make the render appear like it's not slapped on? That's what blending is right? I never quite understood that [expletive], I'm still just getting back into PS, took a break because I just couldn't get good and it pissed me off -_-
  5. http://i25.tinypic.com/24zf3nd.jpg CnC please.
  6. http://www.nba.com/raptors/schedule/ Open against the Cavaliers at home. I'll be there hopefully for a win, really tough game though to open the season. Then we go to Memphis then back home against Orlando, play two of the top 3 teams in the East in the first 3 games lol. Anyways I'm pumped for the year to get underway. Looking at it again though, it looks like we start off to a pretty tough schedule: Wed 28 vs Cleveland 7:00pm Fri 30 @ Memphis 8:00pm Sun 01 vs Orlando 1:00pm Wed 04 vs Detroit 7:00pm Fri 06 @ New Orleans 8:00pm Sat 07 @ Dallas 8:30pm Mon 09 @ San Antonio 8:30pm Wed 11 vs Chicago 7:00pm All the bolded are "contenders" so to speak.
  7. Em claims to have dated MC for 6 months but she denies any relationship. He mentioned her in his latest song off his new album, called her a whore and called Cannon a prick. Nick wrote a big blog in response calling Em a racist and blah blah then Carey made a song called Why You So Obsessed With Me, basically a single off her new album which she claimed wasn't about Em but it obviously was. So Em obviously caught feelings and made an actual diss track, the first track was kind of a joke. And yeah this isn't a real beef, it might have just got real but I feel like it's gonna end now, Nick and MC don't want it with Em. Although continuing this would hype up both artists, get them on the news etc.
  8. Only been to three Raptors games. One was the one when the Raptors were in control against the Cavaliers until Bosh's sister sassed LeBron. He responded by taking over the game and smashing us. Probably the most memorable just by how LeBron took over and destroyed us in a game I thought we had. The other was an old Hawks game 2 seasons ago, don't even remember much about it but we won handedly and Bargnani almost through this weird/amazing behind the back bounce alley-oop pass or something. I don't remember. My favourite, probably not best, was the home opener last year against the Warriors. The building was awesome and the fans were nuts, the game was tight the whole way and went to OT. I just remember all the jumpers being taken and made down the stretch, the building just erupted. Great game and atmosphere overall.
  9. Better topic. In a fight who wins, Eminem or Nick Cannon?
  10. Wow I missed this. Are you aware that Moon and Parker were key parts to what was considered one of the worst SF/SG rotations in the NBA in Toronto the past few years? Parker is 34, and as much as I love him he is too up and down to be looked to consistently make an impact, thankfully he is on the bench for you guys. Parker is nice but Moon is terrible, simply terrible. The only thing he does good is get on ESPN for a dunk once in a while, but since his rookie year he stopped going to the hole. Now all he does is launch threes as soon as he gets an open look and he is too inconsistent to be relied on to make shots. I am GLAD he is gone from Toronto, he isn't even a good defender like everyone thinks, he is okay but he leaves his feet all the time it's ridiculous. Green probably won't even play and yeah you got Shaq, but it's obviously not that amazing of a deal if people are questioning it. People aren't questioning the Spurs getting RJ are they? Raptors, Spurs and Mavericks all had better off-seasons than the Cavs. Are they all better teams than the Cavs? Maybe not, but they all improved way more than the Cavaliers did. Shaq isn't as much of an upgrade over Z in the starting lineup as you probably think.
  11. It sounded suspect when I read this, Kanye didn't even smash 50 that bad and 50 has fell off. There are multiple, not only rappers, artists that could and do outsell Kanye.
  12. Em just says [expletive] about himself before anyone else can to downplay it. Dude has no pride in his past life lol, he has no shame in anything he does. This [expletive] seemed like it started out as a joke to get a bit of hype for both the artists, but Em obviously got pissed when her first radio single, ALL over the radio btw, was about how he is obsessed with her. Anyways you can't consider this a legitimate battle, I'd love to see Em drop some diss tracks but at his age it's doubtful he is interested in re-igniting a beef like Ja or Benzino. Anyways.... In the words of the great Martin Lawrence http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QqMiigy92qU [expletive] just got real.
  13. Well our coach already said, albeit prior to the Bellinelli deal, that he looks for Demar to start the 1st and 3rd quarters and have others likely finish out the games. This would obviously be a result of his lack of experience and inexperience closing out games. I honestly see all these guys averaging close to the same 20 MPG or so during the year unless one of them makes an unexpected vault into a very good player which is unlikely.
  14. How does Cleveland have nothing to prove? You don't win 66 games then not make the finals, just isn't supposed to happen. The Cavs should have a chip on their shoulder this year, and if they don't something is wrong in that locker room.
  15. Too bad Wayne didn't fall with him.
  16. Unless I am missing something the clear cuts are, in appropriate order: LA Boston Orlando San Antonio Cleveland The Cavs have a lot to prove this year after losing to the Magic, Magic are ahead of the Spurs since I think the entire team will be very hungry after getting a taste last year. I still believe Boston is the best in the East though. I don't think Denver is in the same class as these guys, Dallas might be a borderline team I'd add to 6th but they have a lot of question marks as well. Don't know what Doc is seeing, I think there are 5-7 "top tier teams" right now. Don't be surprised if the Mavericks are 2nd in the West seeding though, a lot of talent though, but a lot of question marks around the un-proven playoff performers. What makes this year so great though is that the gap between these 7 teams or so isn't that big, so realistically any of these teams COULD win it all because of how talented they all are.
  17. Frankly I'd rather see us put all our firepower out there. That means Marco. We'd have 5 guys who can all shoot the 3 at a great percentage. I mean Demar and Antoine are probably superior defenders but what does it really matter? Have one good defender on the floor? Even if they are better defenders Marco's offense will help us more than his defense will hurt us IMO. It's obvious we are going to have to be a team that outscores their opponents to get wins. And Marco has a good handle, we'd have 3 guys from SF-PG who are all comfortable holding the rock, and Bargs is a nice passer too. We are going to thrive on good ball movement and making jumpers. EDIT- Not sure who starts, but I'd like to see Marco at least start the year as the guy getting the majority of the minutes. If he stinks it up we can change it up.
  18. But he still shot over 50% from the field and 50% from 3 over the course of the playoffs. The guy put up 12-9, almost a double double off the bench, off over 50% from the field and 3 and add to that a block and a half with less than 2 steals in over 30 minutes. How do you scoff at that? How do you call that "inconsistent"? Of course you can pinpoint specific games where Odom didn't show up, but you can do that for anyone really. I think his mishaps are blown out of proportion because he is playing on the team under probably the biggest microscope in the NBA as they have the most fans and are probably the most popular team. The way some people used to talk like he hurts the Lakers was disgusting. He is one of the most efficient players in the entire league.
  19. Your logic makes no sense to me. Wade's majority of his baskets come from driving, getting knocked around on his [expletive] and getting the the line. Meanwhile Kobe is the best mid range player in the league, his points come from the midrange and launching mostly jumpers. If anyone has a chance of getting "worn down" it is Wade. Wade is expected to do more, Kobe has arguably the best supporting cast in the league, I know it's your opinion but I find it extremely hard to believe Kobe is going to get worn down when he has to carry half the load Wade does. EDIT- And since when is 31 years old even old? Acting like dude is 35 and his knees are gone. To say he might wear down by 35 I can agree with something like that, but to suggest he is a year or two from falling off is absurd IMO.
  20. No doubt they've heard this [expletive]. Cannon posted his blog like 12 hours after hearing 'Bagpipes' so his people must have told him about this by now. I don't even know how you respond to this besides saying something like "This is typical Eminem" or something, if he comes with that racist [expletive] again though then he takes a major L.
  21. Yeah right now it just seems like a situation where whoever is playing best at the wing will get the majority of the minutes. But going into camp Triano will probably leave it up to the players who gets the minutes. (Whoever impresses the most/plays the best).
  22. How is Kobe going to fall off? His amazing jumper will keep him effective as long as he wants to play. Sure his defense and ability to get to and above the rim might decrease, but this is natural as that happens when you get older you lose a step, but his offense will always be top notch and he knows the game inside and out.
  23. I don't know it's hard, I mean Felton seems like he is still finding his way and it's going into his 5th year. DJ had a really solid rookie year in terms of stats. I know he's small, which probably hurts him on defense but this kid can hit his 3's. I remember when he played us this past year he was just hitting everything from 3. Frankly I think DJ is better suited for the bench because he just seems like a great spark player while I've always been a fan of Felton's I'm not sure he'll ever find his way in the NBA. If it comes down to a choice who I would rather I'd take DJ because he is probably going to get better and already looks like he is almost as good as Felton as a rookie.
