I don't get why we are using basically our entire MLE on a backup PG. Rasho and Delfino are as good as here by the sounds of things.

Lol Warren you follow hockey now? It's going to be hard to see Koivu in anything outside a Canadiens jersey. Anyways this is a big pickup for the Ducks if Koivu can still be an impact player, not sure what he did last year didn't watch him very closely.

A single player can have a greater impact than any single player of any position in a sport besides probably QB IMO. Overall it's gotta be LeBron.

I know he won't be anything special but he'd be a perfect starting SG for us. He is as good, if not better, than anyone else we'd be able to get.

Pacers aren't interested in being anywhere near the lux tax. They are at -59 and as far as I know the lux tax is around -70 so unless we are offering the entire MLE I doubt the Pacers let Jarret go, he IS their starting PG. Also can someone tell me why no one is talking about Childress? Is he no a free agent? Does he want a lot of money? Get that man signed to an offer sheet BC.

^^That's a good point with having Hedo on the floor now, it depends who we have playing the two though IMO, Delfino would help too. There's a reason we won 47 games when TJ Ford was the main PG on the team. My number 1 choice right now would be targeting Josh Childress honestly. Iunno if he'd be in our price range, but the Hawks have already dropped money on Craw, Bibby and Zaza so far, and have Childress and Marvin as RFA's if I remember correctly. Childress would be a huge signing. Jarret Jack, from what I hear, would be kinda like a mini TJ Ford for us, the opposite of Jose? A slasher? Iunno I don't really watch him much but he put up some nice numbers last year.

Sure most you guys will see this when you check realGM, what are your thoughts on this? Personally I love this potential signing, I hate Roko as a backup and Banks is useless, it would suck having 4 PG's under contract, and 3 of which to deals taking a considerable hit on the cap but w/e.

I completely forgot about Childress, he could actually start here for us, maybe give him the full MLE? I never watched him closely while he was on the Hawks, but I understood he was a pretty solid player. And the Hawks have already used so much money this summer, I think they'd let Childress go in hopes of bringing back Marvin? And if not maybe we chase Marvin? Iunno if the MLE is enough for these guys.

Well we can get some players without even using our MLE, Anthony Parker if we were lucky enough to lure him from the Cavaliers which is extremely doubtful lol, and Delfino sounds as if he's as good as here. That leaves or MLE to sign 2 players to fill our roster to 15.... these are the guys I have been looking up. Rasho Linas Kleiza Flip Murray Jarret Jack Marquis Daniels Nate Robinson... probably a long shot Nate I'd give the entire MLE to, then just sign Rasho to the veterans Min which it sounds as though he'd be willing to take. In a perfect world we could lure AP AND Delfino back, waive Douby or someone and then sign a good bench player for the entire MLE, then use the vet min on Rasho. We currently have 3 roster spots so iunno, we have a lot of options.

We got 3 so far, how many do we really need? Like 8?
