Raps deal 8+Ed Davis+Kleiza for Gay. If we DO deal for him, that is my guess at the price tag. Not what I want, since I really like Davis, but that is what I picture BC moving for him. I like Gay though, would definitely be happy dealing 8 for him.

Don't think Cleveland can go wrong with Barnes or Drummond. I think Barnes is going to be a better pro than people give him credit for. Not a first option type, but I think he might be a good 'robin' type of player.

If we can get Rudy Gay for that pick (probably adding more but not a lot) I do it. If we keep the pick, best case we hope for a Rudy Gay caliber player anyways.

Well, NJ is done.

I hold onto him and see what he can do. I would rather lose him for nothing (a big RFA offer) after seeing 2 bad seasons, than trade him now after just one. The fact he can be a 17 point player in this league with such a limited arsenal is encouraging. I want to give him time.

Just makes no sense to hold it behind closed doors. The NBA gains nothing by doing it behind closed doors. LBJ had a higher PER! But really, the things Melo did better than LeBron were marginal compared to the things LeBron did better than Melo, where the gap was huge. Specifically, running the entire team as an 18 year old, rather than having a role as almost specifically a scorer (to which Melo was better, LeBron just brought more to the table IMO).

Its been sweet here man. I know I wasn't here during the "prime" of OTR but the discussion here has always been really solid. It really sucks that some guys on here are such bitches, honestly had no idea they PMed you and Facebooked you asking guys to stop trolling them and shit, that is disgusting, honestly. From both sides, so wack. I'd just shut her down after the finals, as bad as it sounds. There's really no incentive for people to join/post if there is an expiry date on the board. But seriously its been awesome, RD is without a doubt the best site owner around that I know of, and some of the best basketball discussion happens on this board that I've seen (could be wrong, don't know of many other forums, kinda just spend all my internet time here... call me sheltered). Ya'll gotta let me know where dudes here post about ball cuz this is where some of the most legit sport discussion happens. I really hope I can see some of you around (Flash, RD, ECN, Phightphins, etc... all the good posters around here). But seriously, thanks again to RD he doesn't get enough credit for all the work he puts into this board. He does so much and asks for so little in return.
