Chad Ford: "Knicks Shopping Amar'e Hard"
Check my Stats replied to NomarFachix's topic in New York Knicks Team Forum
deal the guy who brought credibility back to the knicks. Why am i not even surprised. -
Strictly as a 4, give me bosh. if you need him to play minutes at the 5, give me Pau no question about it. Just think Bosh is more dominant in all honesty, despite Pau being more skilled (and bosh is extremely underrated at times). I still don't get why Bosh's rebounding numbers are so wack.

Chances the Clips deal Mo Williams?
Check my Stats replied to NomarFachix's topic in Los Angeles Clippers Team Forum
Why on earth would the Clippers want to deal Mo when he is having the best year of his career? -

Crosby diagnosed with injury to his vertebrate
Check my Stats replied to Tony romo's topic in Hockey Forum
Oh yeah, in terms of the greatest of all time thing, well Crosby has a career points per game of 1.388 which is top 5 all time. And the crazy thing is that Crosby was only getting better and better (on pace for the best season of his career when he got that concussion). -
Crosby diagnosed with injury to his vertebrate

Best player in the league by the time he was 20, ring in his 4th year (finals appearance in his 3rd).. was the best point producer in the world despite playing with pretty mediocre players on his wing. And oh yeah, he has an olympic gold medal. He accomplished literally everything he possibly could have while he has been in the league. This really is just a terrible story, and keeps getting worse and worse it seems. This is the equivilant to LeBron going down when he was 23 (and if he had accomplished anything yet), just a sad sad story. I really, really hope he can come back, even if he isn't what he was before, you can tell this is just killing the guy. I don't care what anyone says, Crosby is one of the greatest ever, and we didn't even get to see him at his best. EDIT: Reading around, it is sounding like this could actually be good news, as crazy as that sounds. Now they know what is wrong, they might be able to fix it. Pretty scary to think he could have been playing with a fractured vertebrae earlier this year. Pens doctors are going to be in hot water that is for sure. Hopefully this discovery can be the first step in his recovery. Sounds like this is more of a step forward than it is a step back. Also lol at Tom Brady being the one to send him there, what a beast. -
Idiots, now they are either A) going to have to sign him to a 1 year deal and then he is a UFA next year, or B) give him the max contract anyways (someone will offer it) and him be potentially annoyed at the same time.

Would LeBron consider free agency in 2014?
Check my Stats replied to Real Deal's topic in Miami Heat Team Forum
I'd be shocked if he didn't opt out. Money probably isn't a concern with him, I don't picture him leaving (doubt any team with necessary cap will be in a better situation than he has in Miami at that point), but I could definitely see him opting out, and being around 30, looking to get one more huge deal taking him until he is on the downswing of his career (mid 30's). -
The Ottawa Canucks are gonna get worked.

Sources: Raptors Open To Trading Calderon
Check my Stats replied to The Regime's topic in Toronto Raptors Team Forum
Problem with Jose is that he wants the ball in his hands all the time, and while his stats are nice, the way he plays the game is pretty counter-productive at times. He tends to hold the ball for way too long, and has tunnel vision for the same player over and over - used to be Bosh, now it is Bargnani. And his inability to break guys down off the dribble or penetrate is something that holds him back for sure. But his strengths are very strong - terrific on the PnR, great shooter, terrible defender obviously but you could hide that on a team like LA. His need for the ball is why Hedo didn't work out. It really is a shame too, because he should be a terrific off the ball player because he is such a great shooter. I think he could be an amazing fit in LA, as long as Kobe, Mike Brown etc could ensure he wouldn't just stand around senselessly when he doesn't have the ball. Knicks fans, believe me he's not the answer; you think Jose freaking Calderon is going to manage a team with egos like that? Fat chance. -
Pau didn't pick anything, CP3 instigated all of that.

Andrea Bargnani: Proving Himself to the NBA
Check my Stats replied to DunkinDerozan's topic in General NBA Discussion
Bargs will never be a good rebounder, he doesn't crash the offensive glass nearly enough, which is understandable considering how far he plays from the basket. If he could average 6 defensive rebounds a game, I would consider that to be a success honestly. And as far as Bargnani's defense, anyone remotely educated regarding Bargnani knows that for the past 2-3 years, he has always been a solid defensive player in terms of man defense, it is his help defense (or lack there of) that hurts him. Especially in today's NBA, when centers are pretty much expected to be able to protect the rim. If the Bargnani we are seeing this year, is the Bargnani we are going to have moving forward, I honestly have absolutely no problem him remaining a Raptor (unless of course we can bring in Drummond or Davis, in which case gtfo). If Jonas is going to be the big it seems like, then Bargs should slot in nicely next to him. I have always been a huge Bargnani critic, but what we have seen from him this year has been nothing short of amazing relative to my expectations of him. -
10k eh, that's a lot, give me a few more years.
-
Honestly never questioned his defense. Yeah he isn't a rim protector, his weakside help is bad, but as a man defender, he has always been solid. It has always been a matter of effort, especially on the glass, that has been lacking. I bet most the leaders in this stat are bigs though, mostly due to the lack of quality bigs in the league who will give you mroe then barely double digits in points.
