  1. If the Hornets pass on the Wolves pick, Monta... or even Curry/Gordon when they become available, which I think they eventually might... to take on Pau or Bynum, I might not watch the NBA this year.
  2. This is great news and what I hoped would happen all along... if he can put a full season together without getting hurt and playing his game, he has earned the right to look for a bigger contract, though every team should be reluctant to.
  3. Hit the gym and work on it.. unacceptable for your PG to be a liability at the FT line,
  4. Cheap signing to hopefully put a couple more butts in the seat... you can definitely expect to see some Magloire commercials on RaptorsTV I think.
  5. Why do the Heat insist on guys who play the side of the floor where they don't really need any help. Curry is going to need the ball down on the block, are the Heat really going to drop it off to him? Doubt the big 3 would be very happy about that... pointless signing... still in search for that rim protector..
  6. Not a huge fan of tying max money in defensive specialists. Tyson is obviously a terrific fit though. Will still be interesting to see how they play with mediocre SG/PG's..
  7. I would like to see a rule where you can go out of HS, but if you don't you go to college for 2 years. Appeases everyone IMO.
  8. Their opportunity to build a team is worse than Cleveland's 2 years ago... Cleveland at least had Hickson at the time, who was a somewhat attractive asset. The Magic have.... Orton?
  9. Possibly one of the most overrated, inefficient players in the NBA right now. Anyone who signs him will be disappointed... he has his moments, but he is so inconsistent.
  10. The Heat need efficient role players who are committed to defense and a team game. Not ball stoppers or guys who need the ball in their hands. If Mike Miller couldn't get it going in Miami, what makes you think VC will? There is 20 minutes MAX available behind Wade and LBJ - sorry, but no one is going to be able to be a consistent spark in that role... your best look is to find someone committed to defense and can stroke it okay... a Raja Bell type is a better pickup than a VC or T-Mac type. The Heat should be chasing big men who will have a role, not wings who will play 10-15 minutes a night in mostly useless time.
  11. Canada basketball is on the rise... ask this question 10 years from now.
  12. The same organizations [expletive] up over and over and over again.
  13. I hardly notice any of those things, though I rarely use facebook. The most annoying thing girls, and some boys do, to me, is when they talk to each other and act obnoxiously when they are sitting in the same room, or are in the same house. Like post shit to each others walls, even though they are right beside each other.
  14. Like this fit for both sides. T-Mac wouldn't fit in Chicago or Miami, at least not as well as he will in Atlanta. A team like Atlanta can use T-Mac's ball handling abilities at the SF/SG position.
  15. Actually the deal is only 28M guaranteed, get your shit straight. Believe it or not, that is the price you pay for quality bigs, even backup ones.
  16. Getting either Curry, Udoh and Thompson, or Wolves pick+Aminu+Jordan are both equally good offers... can't really go wrong either way, especially if you are dumping a contract along the way. I don't see anyone offering more. Still don't see Paul dealt for a while, no sense in rushing this thing if you are New Orleans.
  17. Honestly, if LA gets either CP3 or D12, it is because the player forced their way there, and that is just pathetic. When teams like LAC and GSW are shopping pieces like Curry and the Wolves pick, and CP3 or D12 are dealt for the pieces LA had, which are extremely mediocre for a team who needs to blow it up, something is plainly wrong. Still not sold that Gordon can't eventually be had for CP3. If NO is asking for Gordon and the Wolves pick, they simply need to smarten up, that is outrageous.
  18. He should easily be able to find work. With a bigger role, not doubt he can contribute to a ton of teams.
  19. Honestly don't see him as a fit on any of those teams outside of the Nets, who have holes everywhere except PG
  20. Well, to walk out of a back to back with 3 out of 4 points, while playing 5 on 9 all game with the stripes both times, guess I can't be too upset.
  21. Honestly, thank God Lupul is okay. We have deserved some of the calls, but they have missed many against us, this officiating, combined with last night, have been absolutely atrocious. And wow, a terrific goal by Matt Frattin.
  22. I honestly just prefer how it is now. I get it for scheduling, but I wish for playoffs the top of the 8 seed system remained, and the best 8 teams from the combined 2 conferences just made it, opposed to the top 4 from each. I would be fine with the top 2 in each of the 4 conferences were automatically awarded home ice or something. Idk, I read somewhere that with this system, LA would have missed the playoffs last year, and that would be absolutely stupid.
  23. It is ridiculous how rock solid Gus has been since I said he wasn't an NHL caliber goalie. Not that I am complaining lol, just funny. Kessel also retakes the scoring lead last night. Tonight is a game we have to win. These tough back to backs against bad teams are games we need to grab.
  24. The Rangers have picked up very few wins against playoff teams. They have won only 4 or 5 games or so against playoff teams.
