  1. Funny they'll pay Doc this much but then penny pinch with one of the few defensive anchors in the league.
  2. Well they got a big name which they definitely needed, but I don't know how they will integrate him into the show. Should be interesting.
  3. That is a huge amount of money for a pretty mediocre coach.
  4. Beasley doesn't have a position, and averaged those stats as the 2ND option on the WORST TEAM IN THE NBA. Westbrook is on his way to the WCF, and one of the quickest and most explosive points in the game, the NBA today is built for the Westbrooks of the world. Horrible, absolutely horrible comparison. Beasley got traded for a 2nd in the off-season, are you actually comparing his and RW's value?
  5. God I hope BC doesn't see this or he will definitely use this in his next presser.
  6. They would only make the move because RW thinks he is something he isn't: a superstar. Chris Paul is. Getting RW for CP3 would be a huge life saver for New Orleans too. It would make sense for both, if the circumstances with RW/KD really did get sour, which they really haven't yet.
  7. I actually got this from the big ass hockey forum:
  8. I had no idea Kanter had a jumper like that. If we take him, Bargnani better be gone, and he better be able to play C. It still burns my ass that Barnes backed out, [expletive]
  9. This would be amazing for OKC, to have an actual point on their team. Everyone would thrive.
  10. Heat will be fine. Even if the new CBA is crippling, they can trade Bosh no problem and just keep Wade/LBJ and they will still dominate. Bosh's role really isn't that difficult to fill since he isn't really being used as much more than a stretch 4.
  11. I want the new CBA to find a way for teams without superstars (like 75% of the league) to be able to contend along with those who did land a superstar thank to lottery luck. I don't know exactly how they can do this, but that is what I'd like to see done. That shit about Duncan, Kobe, Shaq, etc being in all the finals the last 13 years or whatever pretty much sums up what is wrong with the NBA's competition in my opinion.
  12. I actually got along decently with that HHH guy over at realsportzone or whatever the site was, he just has a strong personality and was harsh towards ignorant people. Pretty much anyone will at least respect your opinion if you have good reasoning, expect ECN, that's why he is pretty much the only guy I but heads with but even then it is pretty much only about Amare or Bosh. Also I envy RD that he is able to be open about his internet life with his girl. This shit is still my dirty little secret lol, same with sim leagues, but I'm not as into them as I used to be. Being on here isn't really anything to be ashamed of though, I can't have these sorts of basketball discussions in real life, so that's why I come on here, I don't know why I don't tell people what I am doing, I guess it's that whole message board stigma.
  13. I want LBJ to get his ring, but I don't want that city to get another championship (no offense to the Heat fans here), I hate them.
  14. He has been overrated since last year when people said he should have been MVP, which was hilarious.
  15. Potential? Durant doesn't see the floor, not possess half the passing ability of LeBron James in his rookie year, nevermind now. LBJ in his 2nd year is probably better than Durant will ever be. That comparison is starting to make me sick.
  16. Why don't they work on making it more difficult for big market teams to poach them. Players leave because they want to win. They need to balance the competition in the NBA. LeBron leaves Cleveland to win titles, not because of money, years, lack of loyalty, etc. It's the same with almost everyone, if Magic were in the finals this year with Dwight having legit support. there'd be no talk about him leaving.
  17. I keep saying it, not sure if ya'll are listening, but he'll be a Net some time in the next year.
  18. Dallas shoots too many jumpers, OKC is erratic. Memphis probably would be their best bet, but even then I picture it being a brief series for Miami. With LA out, and Boston too, I don't see anyone really beating Miami. Really, this BOS-MIA series is basically the finals imho.
  19. Better close it out tomorrow or this shit is going 7.
  20. I don't see anyone beating Miami except for Boston. I don't care anymore now that LA is out, because I wanted LA-MIA, so now idgaf. I hope Mavs win so [expletive] this topicl
  21. I wonder if Kobe will play out the game or if he'll watch from the sidelines, this must eat his soul.
