Don't get me wrong I would love it if we would trade him for an expiring, but a combination of BC overvaluing him and him making too much leads me to believe he will be a Raptor for life. I will chalk this up as speculation. But it is the first Bargs trade rumour ever, so I guess that's something. But at this point you really have to think the asking price from BC is going to be way more than the probable market value. Just get rid of him, he is the only stigma remaining from the Bosh era failing.

Yeah I was just about to post this. I will still be shocked if The Rock gets back in the WWE ring, but looking at his wiki page it doesn't appear he is set to film anymore movies so maybe it's a possibility, and he is still only 37 years old so he could easily pull of at least one more awesome feud. I still think we will see Miz put The Rock on the shelf the night after Wrestlemania to get him major heat, and Rock is ALWAYS the first to put someone over. My only concern with a Rock-Cena feud, is the inevitability of Cena pinning Rock, 1-2-3, I'd rather it be a 3 way so at least someone else like Ziggler or Miz can get the rub for a win, Cena stands nothing to gain from winning, but of course those 2 one on one is where the money is.

I don't know what the NBA's system for revenue sharing is, but they need to try and find a way to get all the markets on a close to equal playing field. That is why I have, and will continue to endorse some sort of hard cap.. The discrepancy between the top and bottom teams is already huge, and it is only going to get bigger as they are allowed to add players despite not having cap each year.

No, just players who earn a reputation as great players because they hit clutch shots. Billups is a career 42% shooter and while he takes relatively good care of the ball (around 2 career turnovers, although only around 6 apg), he has always had questionable decision making, especially with his shot selection (this guy takes pull up 3's in transition all the time, it'd be absolutely infuriating as a fan of his team). Do I think Billups is a bad basketball player? No, of course not. But he is not a great player either, and never has been, and I feel like his reputation as a big shot hitter has always kind of overshadowed his inefficient play. I also never really saw him as a great defender, he doesn't have quick feet, and while he was strong, that doesn't really matter against the elite point guards of the league. I guess it really depends how you rate Billups, but it felt like to me he was always overrated by a lot of people. Also quit having hurt feelings that I called Durant overrated. Once he stops turning it over as many times as he gets assists and stops taking step back jumpers against the good defenses, and gets you guys a playoff series win, I will stop calling him overrated.

Billups has always been pretty overrated, but I don't think it is really fair to put all the blame on him.

The odds of us getting Irving or Barnes, (presumably a top 3 pick) is probably less than 20% right now, so don't get your hopes up. Realistically we are probably going to be looking at Knight, Kanter, Kemba, Sullinger, Perry Jones, Terrence, etc. Also someone on RGM brought up a good point that the Raps are bordering on their worst season ever, so it wouldn't be surprising if management was trying to win more games just so they don't have their worst season ever, which quite frankly is pretty sad.

82 games is fine. 162 in the MLB kinda sucks because you could be playing like 50+ meaningless games if your team is shit, which sucks. In the NBA the earliest your season is usually over is probably around the 50 game mark, unless of course your team is absolutely shit. And even then, supporting your team during a rebuilding phase isn't that difficult. I don't really like baseball, but I can't imagine paying attention to 160 NBA Raptor games. 82 games is what I've grown up with, and what I'm used to. Things I'd like to see added are the 1 for 1 FT system and less foul calls.

Dude is 6'3 so maybe he can be an undersized 2. I haven't seen Knight for even 1 minute so I can't comment, but it really sounds like he is Avery Bradley 2.0 but a smidgen taller. Depending on his athleticism and wingspan and if he can add some weight, maybe he can play the 2, in which case it seems like his stock would go way up. Irving is my pipe dream, Barnes is my hope (him and Demar would be a perfect wing duo) and other than that I really have no idea and don't really care. Other than Irving and Barnes, it sounds like everyone else has a huge BUT in their scouting reports.

Just take the two best players on the board at each pick. There is no one on the Cavs roster that should gear them away from taking the BPA, this is a team with a positional need at every position.
