I would take Billups if it meant getting Melo, but straight up I would obviously prefer Felton.

Allen was averaging anywhere between 7-9 threes a game in his prime, and was always hitting them at around 40%. I don't see anyone in the NBA right now that I think can or will do that. Durant is the only guy with the green light to really take enough to get close. And the difference between guys like Allen and Redick, Korver, etc, is that Allen could get his, those guys are spot up shooters.

Sounds like there are quite a few up and comers who will be making an impact for basketball Canada in the coming years. That Andrew Wiggins kid sounds unreal too,.

First of all, he said Bosh was half the player LBJ is, not half a player in general. And 2nd of all, I don't get the resentment from Scottie towards LeBron. LBJ is the best player in the world, and is easily better than Scottie was. All these players, ex-players, resent the Heat because of the stuff ESPN comes out with, LBJ and them are not the ones talking about taking down these records. They have publicly spoken about wanting to win titles, but so has just about every other elite player. They're hungry to win, and it's almost like people are faulting them for it, it's pathetic really.

I am sure this is the case with a lot of players, Europe is just about the only leverage they have. Europe allows them to still collect a paycheck should the owners be foolish enough to lockout, thankfullyI don't think it will get to that point. I don't think Kobe will retire from the NBA until he has 7 rings, even if it means he plays until he is 50.

Artest and Wallace would seem a bit redundant to me.

If they can get a good big man for him they should definitely pull the trigger, develop Harden into the starting SG. It just fits better really, or trade Harden for a big and play Durant at the 2 I guess. I just would opt to deal Green because he is going to command a lot more than he is probably worth this summer. I think Harden has a good chance to be the better player as well. Green really isn't that good, he isn't an above average rebounder, isn't a versatile scorer and shoots a low percentage, and is a mediocre defender, so if there is good value for him in terms of a big, pull the trigger, even if it means you add an Aldrich or picks. I like a line-up of Good Big/Ibaka/Durant/Harden/Westbrook moving forward a lot more than a team with Jeff Green as the PF or Durant as the SG or with Kristic as your starting C. I don't really like using the PER thing that much, but Demar Derozan has a higher PER than Green lol.

College basketball is definitely entertaining, especially the tournament, but I could never invest myself in a team. One reason I wish I grew up in the states would be to be a part of the college sport(s) atmosphere, it's just hard to randomly become attached to a team for me. Nice job picking UNC as your favourite team though lol, you won't be disappointed year in year out like you probably are with the Raptors.

I would only give up Noah at this point for him, Deng would be a nice trading piece for a starting big. I am a big believer in quality over quantity, but the Bulls would be really thin, and with how they are playing now, considering their SG situation, you have to think this is a team that can make noise as they stand now, with some minor improvements. They should be working to get a better SG if they can, not a superstar necessarily, especially one that is pretty 1-dimensional, Noah and Boozer compliment each other perfectly so it is really hard for me, from a Bulls perspective, to split that up. Like I said, I like what the Bulls have, I like how their roles are defined perfectly, this is a team that is a competent starting SG away from being a contender, it really is a shame they missed out on Joe Johnson in FA.

It needs to come back to Toronto asap.

Awesome trade for the Leafs. I hate Francois, he is solid but nothing more and is a huge siv at times, I think Lupul is the equivalent of Francois as a forward. And it sounds like that Gardner kid is a pretty nice prospect as well (first round pick in 08). Really nice return for a solid defensemen who makes more than he is probably worth anyways (so does Lupul, though). Francois is easily replaceable. Hopefully Lupul can stay healthy and be the player he is capable of, that would give us almost 6 top 6 forwards!! (though all of them are pretty much 2nd line caliber at best lol)

You can't really look at this situation from a logical point of view, because if the Nuggets were logical, Melo would already be in either a Knicks or a Nets uniform.

Wow, the last books I read were Dante's Inferno and One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest, both in high school lol. I really should read more, but I hate it.
