I think Derozan could honestly be better than Bargnani by the end of this season. A bad defensive center hurts your team a lot more than a bad defensive wing player, and both are probably 'bad' defenders overall, but at least Demar has the potential to get better in the coming years while Bargnani is probably pretty much the player he will always be. I don't care if Bargs has more offensive tools at his disposal, Derozan is already as effective offensively, if not more so. In January Demar has arguably been the better offensive player. Bargs is getting 22.1 PPG on .442 from the field while Demar is giving us 20.6 PPG on .475 from the field. It's just crazy really what Demar is doing for us lately, and especially considering he can't even hit a jumper outside 15 feet. As he continues to extend his range and tighten his handle and work on his defense, he is going to be a really really solid player for us. I am sick of us being a soft team. I would rather us start Dorsey and only score 80-something points a game but only give up in the 90's. I want Bargnani gone, we won't ever win with him as our starting big man unless we get some sort of godsend big man like Dwight Howard to make up for his incompetence defensively and on the glass.

I still think those two can work as a backcourt. Neither is a natural point, they actually compliment each other decently. Unless a team is offering up something really nice for either of them, I'd hold onto them both.

What team do you support for football? I only ask because it easy for someone who cheers for a team like the Lakers, with such a winning culture, to scoff at a 2nd place finish (or something like that). Championships are not the only way to measure success of a professional sports team. Cities that have embraced losing teams should be proud of their teams for being successful, even if it doesn't necessarily mean they are the champions. If the Raps won the East I'd wear and Eastern champs t-shirt of theirs, I don't cheer for a football team so this is really the only way I can relate.

Smart move. As long as he shoots 80% of his shots from beyond the arc and hits them at close to a 40% rate. Arroyo is garbage, there is a reason no team in the NBA wanted him before Miami signed him last year.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, he owes it to the Blazers' organization to sign there for 1 year at the MLE price or something reasonable. But if healthy, this is a kid that can be the best defensive Center in the league, better than Dwight Howard if he learns to play the game. If he had played close to 200 games by now like most from that class, I'd bet you he'd be the best defensive C in the game by now.

It is honestly impressive that the franchise is committed to an actual rebuild. No way am I complaining considering I was scared Rip Hamilton would be wearing a Raptors jersey by the deadline. This is an ownership group that I believed would rather win 30 games than 20, but they are proving me wrong. BC is clearly getting an extension if he is being allowed to lose like this.

We are not worse without him, I don't know if Colangelo is just scared to admit this, or is just ignoring it, but it is extremely frustrating as a fan.

Yeahhh on TSN, get to watch in actual TV quality for once. Been a while since I've caught the majority of a game, hopefully Demar has another nice game or at least gets a lot of shots up.
