Also, I'd love to see something like UFA's get a 6 year limit from all teams, except their own team gets 7-8 years. This is a win-win for both sides IMO. League helps small markets retain stars, and PA gets longer contract length that they want.

If this went to a vote it would pass, I am almost certain of that. It seems that the things they are fighting for affect the 5%ers. Not that I'm saying this is right (the 20/80 rule... those guys at the top are the ones making the money). But if it is true, that CBA duration and contract term limits are the major hurdles, and we lose a season over this, that's just [expletive]ed up. That's why I think Fehr gets overthrown before a season is lost over this shit. Bettman is mad, and says that shit is off the table, but if the PA comes back tomorrow working off their offers (lets say they accept 10 year CBA and then 6 year term limit for FA's and 10% year to year changes) you're telling me Bettman still says "sorry make whole is still off the table"? No way. I'd say they are too close for a season to be lost, but I wouldn't put anything past these two (Bettman and Fehr). It has pretty much turned into a pissing contest it seems. It sucks as a fan. If they aren't talking by the weekend, then I'll be worried.

The owners are trying their best to get rid of Fehr. Meh, still think this gets resolved sooner than later. Owners need some time to cool down, and players just need another week at the most to overthrow Fehr, who is a total jackass who clearly isn't taking the owners seriously at all. Fehr said himself they are (or were) on the same page for money... we're at contract lengths and CBA length at this point... I don't see the season getting thrown away by that shit... considering contract lengths affect maybe 5% of the players in the league, and the CBA being longer should help players, seeing as they will just be forced to concede more shit 6 years from now.

That's the problem, he isn't talented. His handle isn't as great as people made it sound, and he is stupider than me out there, and his jump shot is super broken, and he can't finish at the rim (seriously.. watch him play, the number of times he drives right then throws up and out of control "layup" from just outside the paint.. its insane). Its okay if his mentality is to score, I can live with a rookie point guard struggling at point guard duties, but he has given no indication he can score at this level - not even glimpses. At least someone like Waiters has shown flashes despite sucking major dong, Rivers actually blows.

I don't know if that was a foul, but Casey needs to tear a [expletive]ing strip off a ref in one of these games. We obviously aren't getting anymore calls by being nice, and he makes our players look like absolute assholes out there for looking at the refs after they get called for a ticky tack foul/get hacked. It won't help us win anymore games, but its infuriating watching knowing we are that much more behind the 8 ball with these [expletive]ing refs. EDIT: Anyone who knows me knows I hate when people bitch about the refs, aka Kobe always. But [expletive] this is ridiculous at times.

You are a gigantic flip flopper sometimes. Anyways, this award goes to the coach who squeezes every last possible ounce out of his team. Not to a coach whose team isn't playing to its full capability. I don't think Spo is a bad coach (he isn't), but he also isn't getting every last ounce out of this team like a coach in Charlotte or Memphis is (seriously... the way Hollins has that team playing is awesome... that is what every bad team trying to be good should aspire for... they play the game the right way). The Heat would have to win 70 games for him to be in that discussion, or damn near 70. The Heat get no credit for winning 55-60 games with 2 top 50 players ever and a top 20 player in the league today. Sorry, that's just the reality
