I don't think I'll be able to watch this live tonight. It's on too late and I have to wake up early. Damn, I hate living in the East...... Anyway, it sounds like Wade might miss this game tonight because of his wrist. I think that may actually be a good thing. The problem offensively lately has been that the role players haven't been stepping up. Having Wade sit out and not have to carry the scoring load will put more pressure on everyone else to score and stay in the game. If the team can learn to play well without Wade, hopefully that will raise the team's confidence and help work their way out of this slump when Wade is re-inserted back into the team.

You can't be serious...
-
He will. I truly believe by his prime he'll be a 26 and 9 guy. His offensive potential is limitless.

Good. This place needs more Jazz fans Welcome

I don't care who the person who made the Ballot thinks is a center or not. Amare is not a center. Period.
-
They can.. it's called being sent waivers. The tricky part is when a player's contract is guaranteed, and when they are eating up too much money to send away without getting something in return. That's the organization's problem.
-
Chris Bosh kills Amare in his efficiency rating (27 to 20). It could be arguable whether Amare is actually better than Bosh, but by no means is he the clear cut best. Even if Amare IS better, Bosh still deserves to start for the EAST.
-
Amare is not a center. Tim Duncan is more of a center than Amare is, and has played the center position almost 100% of his playing time for San Antonio this year according to 82games, whereas Amare starts at PF and has played only a small portion of his time at center. Tim Duncan > Amare Stoudemire easily, now and career. He beats him statistically and all around production. Here, compare the stats yourself: Amare: 20.9ppg, 8.8rpg, 1apg, .8spg, .9bpg - 34.8mpg Duncan: 20.0ppg, 10.4rpg, 3.1apg, .6spg, 1.8bpg - 31.8mpg

I agree with UD. It's obviously never been a problem with the Heat, so why ban it? I don't get it. Only one time has there ever been an issue with gambling in the NBA (as far as I know), and all of a sudden it's becoming banned throughout the whole league. Players can't say what's on their mind, players can't not talk to the media, players agents can't talk about playing time, players cant twitter, players can't play poker.. the list goes on.
-
^ Agreed. It's a complete joke that AI and T-Mac even have the opportunity to play in the all star game, and Amare and KG should NOT be starting over Duncan and Bosh, nor have they done a thing to prove otherwise. I don't care what anyone says.
-
It's the internet, bro. He's just some guy sitting behind his computer screen to you, just like the rest of us.
-
This Rick Kamla guy is way too stat oriented. This dude knows nothing about the actual game. Anyway. Allen Iverson and Tracy McGrady... WTF are they doing in the starting line up??? Do these people who vote even watch basketball? And KG hasn't done enough to earn a STARTING role either, let alone a spot in the all star game. My all stars: East: C: Dwight Howard PF: Chris Bosh SF: LeBron James SG: Dwyane Wade PG: Rajon Rondo Bench: C: Brook Lopez PF: Josh Smith SF: Paul Pierce SG: Joe Johnson PG: Mo Williams Last 2: Gerald Wallace and Andrew Bogut West: C: Tim Duncan PF: Dirk Nowitzki SF: Carmelo Anthony SG: Kobe Bryant PG: Steve Nash Bench: Chris Kaman Pau Gasol Kevin Durant Brandon Roy Deron Williams Last 2: Chris Paul and Amare Stoudemire

It's called actually ignoring him.

That JO for T-Mac trade is sounding real good right about now...
-
Damn.. looks like Wade hurt something in his left arm, I think. Hope he turns out ok. Edit: right arm, my bad
-
What's there to be scared about? Sports are entertainment. It's not good to take it too seriously since you can't control the outcome. So with that said, I'd love to see Bosh go to L.A. That team would be a lot of fun to watch.
-
Consistent jumper? Looking at his hotspots (link), the dude shoots about 30% from midrange, if that. Plus, he's only shooting 32% from 3, which is hardly an improvement to his "all around game", since he's shot 30% from 3 for his career. There's only one place where Crash consistently scores.

Hollinger Sees Dorell Wright Trade
Poe replied to Sħãlïq™'s topic in Los Angeles Clippers Team Forum
Wright's too good to let go. He's grown into an underrated versatile sixth man in this league and may potentially start for the Heat in the near future (similar to what Trevor Ariza did with LA). Thing is, sports analysts still see him as just an athletic wing player with a Jamario Moon skillset (though I disagree, of course), so they believe Wright's contract is expendable. Let's just say that Pat Riley isn't dumb enough draft a high potential player in the first round, develop him for 6 years, recently give him a prominent role, then just throw him away just to get under the tax. Sorry, there are much better candidates on this team to be traded than Dorell's. James Jones is easily the number one option to leave right now. -
More Clutch: Ben Gordon vs Mario Chalmers
Poe replied to B-Marsh>R-Moss's topic in Player Comparisons
As far as NBA careers go... Ben Gordan by a mile. -
It's the team's net points while the player is on the court. So while Kobe was on the court, the Lakers scored 13 more than their opponent. When Bosh was on the court, the Raptors scored 9 less than their opponent.
