I think KD has got a good chance, too. He's doing extremely good for his age, he seems to be much more mature of a person than LeBron, and also unlike LBJ, he's got a young team that will grow with him.
-
As this current decade comes to a close, it turns out Kobe may have arguably been the best player of this decade. My question here is, out of all the young talent, who do you predict will eventually become the best player between the years 2010 and 2019?

http://www.miamiherald.com/sports/basketball/miami-heat/story/1390864.html Turns out Wade has back spams. Hopefully he'll be fine for the game. If not, Beas, JO, and Dorell will have to step and fill in for his scoring and playmaking.

I don't like Nate. He's clearly not the solution to the Knicks' struggles. He either needs to sit on the bench and keep quiet, or have a team get suckered into giving up some good value for him.

Well, I can see why when Bogut is chosen to take the game winner with a turnaround jumper at the baseline without even a hint of a drawn up out of bounds play.
-
Great play by Evens there at the end. Horrible play calling for the Milwaukee coach, though. 0.9 second to go, and you make Jennings inbound the ball and have Bogut take a highly contested turnaround jumper??

I watched a bit of the first half of this game... is it just me, or was a good portion of the New Jersey crowd giving "MVP" chants when Kobe was at the line, and cheering when he was making his free throws?

So... still arguing over that call made 4 days ago?

Bosh Says He Won't Look at Nets This Offseason
Poe replied to Teletopez's topic in Brooklyn Nets Team Forum
No big time free agents are going to want to touch a messy team like the Nets. They have a few good young players, but in reality they are easily in a rebuilding process. Going to the Nets would be like starting over, and I think most of the established stars in the NBA pretty much have a "win now" mentality. Still, even if there was the slightest possibility that, let's say, both Bosh and LeBron decide New Jersey is a nice place for a contract. You can't just slab a few stars together and expect it to work. Just look at a team like the Grizzlies, who had Iverson to start the season plus Mayo, Gay, Randolph, and an emerging Gasol, yet look at the Rockets who don't have a single established star running the show. -
So let me get this straight. The Raptors are the worst defensive team in the league. By far their biggest concern should obviously be at the defensive end. A couple players come in and play what sounds to be great defense... and the coach takes them out?? No wonder the players aren't motivated. They aren't getting rewarded or punished for the right reasons.

yea, yea. Kobe's awesome. That's cool.

Well, I for one

Link?

I honestly think that if Charlotte can remain in the playoff picture, they can manage to pull off an upset on an elite team, especially one with a shaky roster like the Cavs. If they face each other, you know who my money is on... figuratively.

Don't like fish. I just don't. Maybe some crab or lobster is OK, but I don't like going through the trouble of opening the shell or whatever. Burger > Fish. Just hands to sandwitch to mouth. Much easier.
-
No. Yea, that's it. Just no.

The Lakers are on pace to making it back to the NBA finals with favorable contracts to bring them back again and again. The Cavs are on pace to being out only in the second round, or possibly at the wrong end of a first round upset, with one particularly unfavorable contract that may not stay for much longer.

Bryan Colangelo Contract Situation
Poe replied to Built Ford Tough's topic in Toronto Raptors Team Forum
Is he the GM? If so, well, I'd say he's done a good job bringing a good mix of talent together. Problem is, he needs to show some balls and get rid of the main source to their problem. I'm talking about the coach, of course. So much offensive talent, yet he can't even get them to try on defense. He needs to go. -
Agent: Anthony Randolph not against trade
Poe replied to xx.'s topic in Golden State Warriors Team Forum
On the Warriors team? I wouldn't be against a trade, either. -
Whoops, my bad. I made the title a link for ya.

There are plenty of players in the league that are better man defenders than Dwight, but not many that change the game by their presence alone. Kobe can't change the whole team's defensive scheme the way Dwight does. Kobe is a great defender in his position, but in Kobe's case, he just fills in for one part of the defense. Although his ability to guard the best perimeter player IS valuable, overall he's just one out of five defenders, whereas Dwight guards anything that comes into the paint. Am I making sense? Kobe guards one guy when Dwight has a the most important section on the court. That's what I mean by Dwight being a better defender. Not that he is better fundamentally, guarding his man, or anything like that. He just has more overall impact.

It would be kinda cool to have 120+ banners actually, but it's not necessary. Everything is looking good the way it is
-
Yea, well... so is Dwight Howard and Marcin Gortat, and Rashard Lewis and Ryan Anderson. I think a trade is in order.

Good boy

It would be nice to have Haslem in, too. For one he's co-captain of the team. Second, he's so solid out there. He's their glue/hustle guy, or whatever they need him to be each day. Plus, I remember a D Fisher banner for the Lakers before. He's their vet that's been there the whole time for all their championships this decade. Haslem is a similar guy for the Heat. He's been there the whole time. Edit: You don't have to do it if you don't want to or don't have time, btw. You've worked hard on all the banners.
