You are Wade seems less energetic, but he's I really doubt he's dogging it. There's a lot of pressure on his shoulders. It's possible he's held back a bit, looking for his teammates to step up and improve their game. Plus, it is an 82 game season and only a quarter has passed. We can't expect him to go all out and score 50 every single night. It's best to let everyone get involved and find their place on the team, so that when Wade DOES show full aggression, the rest of the team aren't just bystanders like Bryant when he played with Smush and Kwame. To me, this is a very crucial year for the Heat moving forward, and for a number of reasons. One, this is a good year to develop the young guys. Chalmers, Beasley, Wright, and Cook (though he hasn't received minutes yet). I think the Heat are capable of being an elite team, but the reality is that they aren't going to win any championships this year. The Heat are looking for a big time free agent this summer to complete this roster. The best thing to do this year is to put the young guys in position to earn minutes and improve their game, while still remaining in the playoff picture and hopefully gain some playoff experience. Two more reasons it's a crucial year is to prove to Wade that this is truly his house (if he is having any doubts), and that it's home to any vets and studs that are looking for playoff success. I think that's the reason Beasley has been starting over Haslem, why Chalmers has had gifted starter minutes for a good amount of time, and why Wright continues to come off the bench despite deserving a better role. Think about it moving forward. The position the Heat are looking for to complete their roster is a big time SF. Joe Johnson, Rudy Gay, LeBron James. This team is preparing for them. They expect Beasley to be the 2nd or 3rd option, Chalmers to handle the point, Wright to be the versatile sixth man, and hopefully Cook to be the big time shooter and scoring presence off the bench. The Heat are thinking about NOW, while also preparing for the future. Building up to what could be a championship year As for moves, none need to be made. Only JJ, and perhaps Cook for a touch more cap space, but I don't see a reason to totally give up on him, yet. The Heat have had some early struggles trying to find a true identity and consistency in each game. However, they're beginning to make a breakthrough. I think Beasley is beginning to realize his importance to this team. His averages have increased from last month to this month. He's going to have a great rest of the year. Wright is discovering his role off the bench, and he's played extremely well for the amount of minutes he's received. Hopefully he can keep it up and not find a way to drop off like he's done in the past. Benching Chalmers was probably the best thing for him. He's probably going to have to re-earn his minutes, and hopefully re-discover his defensive abilities. Haslem has been very solid as usual, but JO still needs to step up on the boards, points, and overall physicality. Arroyo does a good job filling in with those midrange Js and somewhat decent defense, but I really don't like it when he's on the court, personally. He's just sort of there to fill the void. I'd rather see Quinn out there, personally. He's a better offensive compliment to Wade.

From the interview it sounds like he's satisfied with the money he's already made, plus he's got enough on endorsements, anyway. I think he could be at a stage in his career where stats and dollars are put aside in his head, and he's brought in a more team oriented, winning mentality. At least, I hope that's true for his sake and the Rockets.

Remember, it's who's improved the most, not who is the second best on the team. Beasley has had some great flashes, but still lacks consistency. If I made a list in order, for me it would be Dorell, Q, then Beasley, then JO, Haslem, then Chalmers. D Wright has really come a long way since his rookie year. The 12, 4, and 2 in 5 games don't look ultra impressive, but he's actually been the 2nd best player against the Kings, and I'd say he was the best player against the Grizzlies (though everyone pretty much sucked out there that day except for him). The numbers that he's putting up recently have all been off the bench, and he has yet to play more than 30 minutes. SRV could be right, though. It might be a bit early to tell if he's truly improved the most. He still gets my vote.

Seeing multiple examples isn't a bad thing at all. As long as they are shown a bit more quickly or smoothly with just a good overall flow to the video and it doesn't feel dragged out. I understand why you were replaying the part on Casspi. I was having trouble find where exactly where he was on each play. Though the replay helped me figure things out, it got a bit tiring as a viewer trying to repetitively focus on the point being made and where Casspi is located at the same time. If you can find a way to work in the arrows, circles, highlights, etc. to smoothin things up that would be great.

The starting line up now without Martin seems to be Evans - Greene - Nocioni - Thompson - Hawes. That line up looks good, except Greene doesn't seem starter-ready to me. He has a load of talent, athleticism, and potential versatility with his size, but I'd prefer him coming off the bench as a sixth or seventh man. I think Martin will provide a more consistent scoring option than Greene. Evens - Martin - Nocioni - Thompson - Hawes, with Udrih, Greene, and May, Thomas, or Casspi getting the main minutes off the bench. That sounds like the best line up for the Kings moving forward, unless Martin proves to be ball-stopper and a real chemistry ruiner... then trade him for a good big I suppose.

I don't know about anyone else, but I never expected them to win 50 games... I expected somewhere around 8th seed or so, 7th seed at best. They can still possibly turn their season around. I think Washington just needs to improve collectively, which does include Gilbert as well. As for the links, I don't know what to say. I suppose Gil had the wrong expectations of himself just like his fans. And besides, people's minds can change, anyway. They hadn't seen him play when those threads were made I don't think. I think after being back on the court for some time, he'll be able to reestablish himself as a major scoring threat. It may take some time, though, so I think making him leave so soon would be a bad idea. The offense is run through a guy who hasn't played in years. Give him some more time.

You made some very good points in this video. It's great watching your videos cause I'm always learning something new. There are some things you can improve on in your presentation for the entertainment factor. For one, try to make the same points in less words or just in less time. You spent 8 minutes talking about Omri, when it could have been easily brought the same points and the same message in 4 minutes or less. Try to find ways to shorten the time, get more to the point, and make it feel less dragged out. Like, for example, you tend to replay the same thing twice, and video clips tend to be dragged out longer than they should. Even an extra second or two can change the whole flow of the video itself for the worse. Instead, maybe you can find a way to enhance your editing, freeze the frame, use arrows and circles to point to where we should be pay attention to, make the point, and move on. You did a much better job when talking about Derick Rose. The video felt smoother there and more to the point than the first part about Omri Casspi. Just giving a little constructive criticism as a viewer, btw. You made some great points in the videos, and I look forward to you next one +1 for the effort.

These two teams are the type of teams that can beat any team in the league, yet their record doesn't show it. Charlotte, for example, is a grind-it-out team with scrappy defense. Their defense alone allows them to be a threat for any team in the league, but their inconsistent offense keeps their record from shining. This year, they beat Atlanta, Cleveland, AND Denver. I remember them being successful against good teams last year, too, yet people still constantly bring up Charlotte to the "teams a good team lost against but should've won", like when I hear the media talk about the Lakers last year. Also, Memphis is more than meets the eye, but for different reasons. It's simply a team with a butload of a talent, yet their lack of ball movement will make them inconsistent, because all their offense is is going 1on1 with different players, offensive boards, and a transition game. This month alone, right before defeating Cleveland they beat Dallas, and right after they beat Miami. I can see them being a threat on any given night, but I don't see them making the playoffs. It's not so much that the Cavs LOST those games, but it's that their opposing team simply beat them out. I'm not high on the Grizzlies, but I've always said that Charlotte would be a tough playoff team. Hopefully they'll finally get there with the addition of Stephen Jackson.

Key word. Your expectations of a guy who hasn't stepped on the court for two years is rather high. You need to give him more time to find his game, but besides, I don't expect one guy to win games for any team. It doesn't work that way. The Bucks are winning because of they have a better system, yet the winning percentage may drop because it's a predictable system, unless Redd can step up his game as a true perimeter scoring threat. And the Heat are winning because they have a much better overall team. I shouldn't need to explain them any further. They are an elite team. Much better than their record. The game is played between the lines. Beyond "who scored 50". I think you would know that by now. Arenas shoots 20 shots because that is the role he is given on this team. He's expected to take the most shots. Why? Because he's a damn good scorer, that's where his abilities are at, and that's where he will refind his game.

I think his success alone, his winning record and being the first billionaire athlete (I think) is enough to be named such an honor. Nothing to do with skin in this situation.

Personally, I'm kind of tired of the whole "Kobe vs LeBron" thing by now. It's gotten old for me. I want to see the two most complete teams in the league go at it. Besides, LeBron's highlights feels like watching the same replay over and over. It's either some sort of one handed, head-above-the-rim transition dunk, some sort of behind the head and-one lay up, or a no-look pass in traffic. I know he's the MVP and all that, but I can't help but feel tired of this guy. Maybe it's him being talked about in the media so much, idk. When Kobe has the ball, you don't know what he's going to do with it. Nothing feels repetitive with him. Plus, Kobe has teammates and a reliable offensive system, unlike Mike Brown's "give LeBron the ball and watch him dance" strategy.

At first thought I was thinking it was an obvious answer, but on second thought.. Scola is actually a pretty underrated player. As of right now he is probably better in terms of more refined skills on the offensive end, fundamentals, and just overall on-court awareness. Thing about Beasley is just that he's so talented and definitely has a much brighter future. He clearly wins in the athletics department, and with that plus improved hustle on the defensive end I'm going to have to go with Beasley defensively. He's already shown some good flashes of being a dominant offensive player, and the fact that Beas has been producing as the #2 option for a better team, I'll say that Beasley as the current better overall player. Idk, call me a homer or whatever, but I'd still easily take Beas over Luis.

I'll repeat what I said @ BTA. Warriors are in tough times. The fans have a problem with Corey Maggette, and the players have a problem with Don Nelson. The team is over-stacked with guards and small forwards, and not enough big men. So, they are getting rid of.... Anthony Randolph???

Yea, Cavs aren't what they used to be. LA vs Celtics would be legit, though.

Yea, that's probably the best option offensively, though I think Battier deserves to start. Trevor does seem to play best when feeding off of good playmakers. Question is, can T-Mac still produce well enough on the offense for it to work? If they trade T-Mac, they really just need a big defensive center in return. T-Mac is too much money, though, so it's probably best to just let his contract expire in Houston, and hope Yao can make a comeback next season.

I can see how it could be better marketing to have T-Mac getting minutes, cause that will be sure to put asses in seats like AI, but I don't think that's Rick's main concern. I don't see why he should get auto minutes just because of his paycheck or what he's done in the past, especially when this team is doing well and still in the playoff race. It's probably best to slowly incorporate him back into the offense, but personally I think he'll have to reprove himself. Ariza is the #1 option according to Adelman. Battier is a starter, and Chase deserves minutes. I understand T-Mac needs minutes. Maybe it's best to bench Chase just for this year and let him make a comeback next year when T-Mac is gone.

It's good to see he's finding his way back on the court. Problem is, where does he fit? Ariza's suspension has been only for a single day, and he's been the leading scorer I think for this team with a winning record. Shane Battier should remain a starter, IMO. Chase Budinger is playing very well off the bench. That's three wing players already in the rotation. I suppose the best option would be to let T-Mac, Trevor, and Air Bud battle it out in practice, and whoever's been playing well will receive minutes.
