  1. His Uncle died and he's just getting back from attending a funeral and spending time with his family. He should be back for Sunday's game against Memphis.
  2. You mean Joel Anthony was... Man, the Heat definitely need JO back. He really does make a big difference out there for this team.
  3. Weird, I know. I'm no computer or internet expert of any kind so I have no idea what the source to the problem is. I remember not being able to connect directly with a certain friend, but I could connect indirectly if someone else was hosting the party or match. It's weird how I could talk and play with him that way, but directly it just wouldn't work.
  4. I had this problem on xbox 360 before. I forget what the name of my connection was, but I remember that the only way I could connect to certain people was to disconnect my wireless router and plug the xbox completely directly where I couldn't use wireless internet on my computer while I played xbox. It was weird. I think certain connections just don't get along or something.
  5. He's averaging the most FTA in the league at 11.2 per game, right above Dwight Howard at 10.4, Chris Bosh at 10.2, and Melo at 9.6.
  6. I'm directing more towards the field goal percentage. It's pretty abysmal compared to how he has normally played throughout his career.
  7. Yea, I know what you mean. The only reason I was able to watch the games was because I've had the Swine Flu over the past couple weeks. That sucked, but at least I was able to watch the games. They had about a 5 day break after the trip. THAT felt like forever to me, so I can see what you mean from not being able to watch them for 2 weeks or so straight.
  8. Sounds like a plan. Now get to it or you WILL be banned ...probably
  9. It's a quarter into the season, and it's looking like Wade isn't quite putting up the same MVP-like performance that he was doing last year. Last year, Wade averaged 30.2 points and 7.5 assists, while shooting 49% from the field, and 32% from 3 averaging 3.5 attempts and making 1.1 each game. This year, Wade is averaging 27.1 points and 6.0 assists, while shooting 43% from the field, and 24% from 3 averaging 3.8 attempts and making .9 each game. Thing is, you would think that the percentages would even out as the season progresses, but it doesn't look to be that way looking at last year's performance from Wade. Here's last year's monthly PPG and FG%: November: 28.9 PPG, 50% FG, 30% 3PT December: 29.2 PPG, 46% FG, 18% 3PT January: 28.1 PPG, 48% FG, 33% 3PT February: 30.9 PPG, 50% FG, 31% 3PT March: 33.7 PPG, 50% FG, 35% 3PT April: 33.5 PPG, 51% FG, 45% 3PT This year's numbers so far: November 26.9 PPG, 42% FG, 28% 3PT December: 27.0 PPG, 42% FG, 0% 3PT (0-9) I don't like to think in black and white and just say Wade is "in a slump" or something like that. Last year he consistently shot 50% from the field and shot 30% from 3 in just about every month, except for the abnormally low percentage in December and the abnormally high percentage in April. This year, there's obviously something that's causing Wade's downplay on his performance. I think I might know what it is, but I want to know what you guys think?
  10. It's not difficult to go to NBA.com or ESPN.com and look for the schedule yourself. If you are that lazy, here's a link: http://www.nba.com/heat/schedule
  11. BANBANBAN JK, bro, welcome to the site
  12. BTW, Dallas is looking like a VERY good team this year. Their ball movement is fantastic, they play great defense, they have good shooters out there, and they make hustle plays. Based off this game, I think they will be in the WCF this year. BTW, one major thing that hurt the Heat today was lack of ball movement, but I think it has more to do with the Mavs closing off passing lanes and forcing the Heat players to go 1on1. The Mavs were simply the better team today. When JO gets back and Dorell starts to improve bit by bit, the Heat will be a better match up for them.
  13. I don't like it when opposing teams score over 100. Miami has to build a reputation is a great defensive team, and letting teams score this much while shooting over 50% doesn't cut it. Dorell's follow up to his break out performance hasn't been good. He lacks aggression overall with the ball in his hands. That's his only issue. He needs to be in attack mode out there.
  14. Good sign for Miami. They are shooting 41% in the first half, and the Mavs are shooting 49%, yet the Heat are only down 7. FG% tend to even out during the course of the game. I think the Heat have a high chance at winning this one.
  15. Alright, Dorell, all eyes from Heat fans are on you. D-Wade said you've been the best player on this team for the past two weeks in practice. Let's find out if that break-out game against the Kings was for real. BTW, there are chances that both Q-Rich and Jermaine could both miss this game, or both could wind up making it.
  16. I was thinking of Dwyane Wade and it got it perfect. Nice find
  17. Damn, Dirk has actually had 9 steals in a single game. That's pretty damn good for a PF.
  18. I forgot about Rondo.. I'll just keep editing that list.
  19. Yea, I would have mentioned J-Kidd if he wasn't in such a late stage of his career.
  20. LeBron James, Gerald Wallace, Josh Smith, Andrei Kirilenko, Chris Paul, Dwyane Wade, or Kobe Bryant, from the top of my head, are all capable of a quadruple double. Edit: I'll go a little more in depth. Player career highs in each category. LeBron James: Pts 56, Ast 15, Rbs 19, Blk 5 (2 times), Stl 7 Gerald Wallace: Pts 42, Ast 10, Rbs 20 (2), Blk 6 (2), Stl 8 Josh Smith: Pts 38, Ast 10 (2), Rbs 22, Blk 10, Stl 5 (3) Andrei Kirilenko: Pts 31, Ast 11, Rbs 18, Blk 10, Stl 8 Chris Paul: Pts 43 (2), Ast 21, Rbs 12 (3), Stl 9 Dwyane Wade: Pts 55, Ast 16 (2), Rbs 11 (4), Blk 5, Stl 7 Kobe Bryant: Pts 81, Ast 15, Rbs 15 (2), Blk 5 (3), Stl 7 Dwight Howard: Pts 45, Ast 7 (2), Rbs 26, Blk 10, Stl 5 Rajon Rondo: Pts 32, Ast 17 (2), Rbs 15, Stl 7 (3) Andre Iquodala Pts 34, Ast 15 (2), Rbs 16, Stl 6(3) Danny Granger Pts 42 (2), Ast 10, Rbs 16, Blk 6, Stl 6 Dirk Nowitzki Pts 53, Ast 12, Rbs 23, Blk 7, Stl 9 Brandon Roy Pts 52, Ast 12 (2), Rbs 14, Stl 10 Manu Ginobili Pts 48, Ast 14, Rbs 15, Stl 8
  21. ^ Exactly. The game is played between the lines. You can't just dump an old HOFer into a team and expect it to work like a fantasy team. Shaq needs to go so the Cavs team can play Cavs offense.
  22. Kobe is the best player in the NBA. You draw the conclusions.
  23. I need some reassurance about my basketball IQ. Someone on another forum is trying to argue with me that T-Mac was a LOCKDOWN DEFENDER back in his prime days. Do you agree with him?
  24. Exactly. In other words - Kobe personifies greatness and LeBron dances.
