  1. If by "click" you mean not taking anymore soft [expletive] jumpers and re-realizing the real D-Wade by relentlessly attacking the rack, then I completely agree.
  2. I hope so too. I hope as this becomes something of the past his FT% will raise, too, as well as his overall performance.
  3. Being that I'm not a Cavs fan, I don't care for LeBron's dancing. IF I was a Cavs fan, though, I'd personally be ticked off by it. Not because of it could be "disrespectful", but because he clowns around too much in games, and it rubs off on his teammates. True champions, like Kobe and Billups, stay focused at almost all times during games, no matter if they are up 50 or down 50 or if they are in a neck and neck game. True leaders are always looking for ways to get better for themselves and for their teammates. As much as he could be becoming the best player in the NBA, he is by no means a true leader. Not vocally, and not by example. The guy acts like a kid on the court. Unless he changes his mindset on the court, he's never going to win a championship until perhaps the declining end of his career. Not unless he joins Kobe or Wade and acts as second fiddle. Again, the guy is a fantastic player, but he's by no means a true leader, and it's questionable if he'll ever become one.
  4. I'm sure JO will miss his uncle, and the Heat are going to miss JO. I would say that I hope he comes back as soon as possible, but I think it's best for him to take his time, be with his family for a bit, and not let himself get too emotionally drained.
  5. What about 17 in the fourth quarter? Pretty numbers and no rings doesn't make you the best, either.
  6. It seems like LBJ started the dancing stuff before the game even started and during the beginning of the game as well. He probably would have been dancing, anyway, even if it wasn't a blowout. Whether it was disrespect or not, I don't think LeBron meant it that way. He's just having fun.
  7. I think the break through is happening right about now, actually. The Heat could be on their way to a long winning streak starting with their game at Sacramento, actually. No guarantees, I'm not completely certain or confident about it.
  8. I was kidding, just to be clear. BTW, I liked what Spoe did with the rotations today. He recognized that Arroyo and Cook haven't been playing well and he benched them both. Despite missing a couple easy dunks, Dorell played well out there today. He's been getting better and better the past few games like he did a couple years ago when he started averaging 16 point and 8 rebounds for 5 games straight before injury. I am a bit disappointed with the loss, but I'm happy with the way the Heat rebounded from their loss last night, how they managed to compete with a great team like this, and how they are beginning to move forward as a team. Everyone is starting to figure themselves out on the court. It won't be too long before the Heat make a break through
  9. yea, yea... Kobe is GOAT and all that, we know we know, just keep rubbing it in lol
  10. LOL, I'm just laughing right now! What a game, though. I'm happy the Heat were able to put up such a great fight. They lost by the FT line (27-42). If they only made two more of those, the Heat would have won.
  11. First Chalmers gives Fisher room for the 3, then Wade chokes.... [expletive] Common, just one more STOP!!!!
  12. I knew that shot was in before he got the ball...
  13. Yea, I second that. About fricken time.
  14. Geez, enough about the refs already...
  15. There you go, Wade! No more soft [expletive] jumpers, just attack attack attack I knew this would be a good game
  16. 3 point shooting (4-9) is keeping the Heat in this game. The Heat need to attack the basket and knock down their free throws.
  17. AGHHH DORELL, how do you miss that -_-
  18. Dorell Wright playing point guard out there
  19. Good. Wade and Kobe are guarding each other. This is looking to be a good game. The Heat are playing terrible transition D, though.
  20. WWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  21. Yes, 10 years IS a little pushing it. Ever is also a little pushing it, but I wouldn't go as far as saying it's completely impossible. There are two reason why I don't see this happening. 1) Strength and durability. From what I've seen, speed doesn't seem like it would be an issue. There are some women athletes in the WNBA, like Deanna Nolan, who could possibly keep up with the speed of some NBA players. Strength, however, is another thing. For example, Magic vs Lakers last year. The Lakers took advantage of a 6-5, 200 pound Courtney Lee in the post almost the entire time he was on the court by whoever he was guarding, whether it was Kobe Bryant or Luke Walton. Candace Parker is probably the closest thing currently in the WNBA that can play at the NBA level, yet she is only 6-4 and 175 pounds, and plays the forward position. She would be tremendously outmatched at the wing position. Whether it's from the quickness of a small wing like Monta Ellis or the physicality of any bigger guard. In order for her to play at the NBA level, she would have to develop some point guard skills very fast, as well as some more range on her jumpshot with a full size basketball. Even then, lets say she finds a way onto an NBA team. Whether a woman can take the full grind of an entire 82 game NBA season is questionable. The game of basketball is much more physical than it looks, especially at the professional level. The only possibility I can see at this point is perhaps limited minutes off the bench while taking breaks on certain nights. 2) Bad marketing for the WNBA. If the best of the best women basketball athletes were to go all the way to the NBA, then that will easily decrease what little popularity there already is for watching the WNBA. Also, whether Woman can or cannot physically play in the NBA, there is clearly no signs of it happening in the near future, nor are we on any sort of pace towards it besides recent WNBA studs (Candace Parker, Brittney Griner). How many woman are playing the Euroleague?
  22. BTW, neither Jones OR Cook should be the first wings coming off of the bench today. The Heat NEED Dorell's defense today. I hope he gets significant playing time and the he makes the most of it.
  23. Well, the Heat sort of have the same situation as LA with Ron. Since Q-Rich lost 25 pounds or so last summer, he thinks he can guard anybody in the league. Even though his defense HAS improved quite a bit, he is by no means a lock down defender at ALL. Quick guards will blow by him, and big forwards will destroy him in the post. It's not like he doesn't try, he does have good positioning, he's just simply not a great defender. I'm pretty sure he's going to be the guy guarding Kobe tonight.. God, I hope he does at least a halfway decent job. BTW, I do expect Ron to guard Wade, especially if Wade doesn't guard Kobe. I wouldn't call it a bad thing, exactly. Wade has gotten very jumpshot-happy recently. I hope he gets back into attack mode, but after his recent performances and possible fatigue from playing back-to-back road games on and off altitude... he'll probably settle for jumpers again.
  24. I'll be very happy if the Heat manage to get a win after getting beaten by nearly 20 yesterday in a late-night game, then traveling on the same night to play another late-night game the next day against the best team in the league...... GO HEAT!
