Haha, I know what you're saying. It was the same thing for Beasley, too, and just about everyone else. The Heat are a lot more efficient offensively when they ATTACK.

Yea, I think I posted about it earlier in this thread. It's called Dragon Ball Kai. You can find the Japanese episodes on youtube, and it looks a heck of a lot better than the original. The episodes are longer (30 full minutes now), but all the filler is cut out, and a lot more happens in each episode. The intro looks sick as hell, by the way. Too bad they couldn't make the whole thing like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SnvupMV9su4&fmt=22

Damn.. it's just technical after technical out there..

Argh... ugly game for Miami. It's not just the shot selection, or the fact that they aren't getting out on shooters, but there is just a huge lack of intensity today. The Nuggets are playing great defense on Wade, and Beasley has not been able to step up, nor anyone else on the team. Hopefully the Heat can find a way to pick themselves back up and make a run in the 4th.

How does Jones do so many of those andone 3s?

Q and Jones are pissing me off again...

Dejuan Blaire is tearing it up out there.

Today will be Chalmers' 100th start in a row. This guy has done a great job staying healthy. Also, Wade has never won a single game in Denver in his entire career. Hopefully this drought ends today.

I'd say Allen Iverson (careful when you talk about "AI of the Sixers", you might confuse people). He's the one putting asses in seats. He's the most valuable to the franchise at this moment.

Eddie Jordan Wants To Start Allen Iverson

Yea, and didn't he always say that the only thing he cares about is winning? -

Yep. Unfortunately, that is the main reason to start him. Looks like AI will be getting his way. Still, it will be nice to see him back on the court. Also, the next Sixers vs Bucks game should be epic. -

What's the big deal about coming off the bench in the first place? Shouldn't the amount of PLAYING TIME be more valued? You know, it IS possible to not play the opening minutes, but still get the same amount of playing time, right? Besides, you have more impact at the END of games than in the beginning. BTW, I'm not saying that AI shouldn't start. Just trying to make a point in saying that you don't need to play the very first few minutes of games in order to have the same impact. Just look at Jason Terry, Manu Ginobili, Udonis Haslem, Al Harrington, etc. -
I think all he's saying is that it would be nice to have more fans of all teams on this board, and that he feels outnumbered when fanship is much higher in a certain fanbase over all others. I'm not against Lakers fans for this, and I don't think Gil is either. It's actually good to see the activity brought from them. Just imagine how much more other fans would enjoy this site if there were 30 active members in EVERY team forum. Nobody is to blame for the lopsided fanbase. Maybe we can find a way to collectively increase the activity and number of members for all the team forums.

Their defense is not actually that bad at all. With just over 85 ppg in 40% shooting, it's their offensive game that's atrocious

So this year your favorite team beat Orlando, yet lost to Washington.

First, use your legs for the power in your shot, not your arms. Your legs are stronger than your arms, plus using too much power with your arms you will start thrusting the ball instead of a normal fluid motion. Second, cokk back your wrist before catching the ball, make sure your hand is underneath the ball when you shoot for better control of your shot, and shoot with your wrist only. Hold your follow through with your shooting hand and keep it aimed toward the rim until the ball goes in for more consistency. Freeze your offhand on the shot and don't let it get in the way of your shooting motion. Another small thing for more accuracy, but don't watch the ball when you shoot. Keep your eyes on the rim. Also remember, aim small - miss small. None of us are machines, we aren't always going to hit our target, but the smaller part of the basket you aim for, the less likely you will miss the inside of the whole basket. And remember, your mind and confidence is key. Every shot you take is a MAKE. Convince yourself that no matter what happened on the previous shot, the next shot will always be in. Just by doing that, you will become a much better shooter.

I really like the way Beasley is playing today. He's scoring within the flow of the offense, he's taking it to the basket, drawing fouls and shooting a high percentage. It's great to see him playing like this. As defenses start paying more attention to him, it will open things up for Wade. As Spoelstra said, the Heat a beginning to make a break-through.
-
Dorell is playing very good defense. It doesn't show up on the stat sheet, but he's making some nice subtle plays out there. I'm glad Spoe is pulling through and giving him minutes today.

Opinion.

I agree with AI guarding PGs. Let Williams and AI share ball handling roles.

Beasley actually had a dominant 4th quarter last time. I'd like to see if that will carry on to this game, and hopefully we'll start to see it more throughout the season. It's the Beasley everyone had been waiting for. Also, Dorell Wright better get some [expletive]ing playing time. He's too good to have his [expletive] on the bench behind Q, Jones, and Cook, especially when those three were a combined 1/13 from the field last game, a total of 3 assists, 7 rebounds, and 1 steal total, in a combined 57 minutes. Dorell Wright can put up those numbers in half the time, plus he's a 50% shooter for his career and doesn't take bad shots. Erik preaches defense. Dorell plays [expletive]ing defense. Get his [expletive] off the bench.

Nets' players show nothing but support for Lawrence Frank, and he still gets fired. Warriors' players give nothing but complaints for Don Nelson, and he still keeps his job. Some organizations confuse me.

LeBron mad Z didn't play
Poe replied to Cleveland's Finest's topic in Cleveland Cavaliers Team Forum
Why didn't he play? -
It didn't freeze for my PG. I played the first year with the Heat, won a championship, and the next year I signed with the Bobcats (which I completely regret since I have no shooters to pass to whatsoever). I've played around 20 games with the Bobcats without having any trouble at all. The only thing that happened to me (which I mentioned earlier in this thread), was that my dude's face completely changed, but thankfully I was able to fix it after the patch. The only problem I'm having now is that the Insider keeps telling me that I have "an important career decision" after every game. Weird glitch they need to fix. Hopefully they will have another patch come out soon. Another problem is I can't ever seem to finish an online pick up game that consists of more than 4 total people. The games keep unregistered before halftime.

Then I'm not sure what else to suggest... Just try to be on the positive side of the Battle Position meter by the end of each game. I made an SF and I made sure that I won the battle position in every game. After training camp, my dude went straight to the team without having to play a single game in the D league.
