  1. Instead of deleting the memory, you can make a another xbox offline profile in the dashboard. Sign into that and you can create a new player.
  2. Billups changed the attitude of a very talented, yet very immature team. Billups' leadership on and off the court and his ability to control the pace of the game was much more valuable to this team than Iverson's ability to score. Iverson would not have lead them past the first round.
  3. They are a worse team than Miami because of the moves the Magic made this offseason, when they should have kept their core. I think we're going to find that moving Turk and Lee out of Orlando to be a pretty big mistake. There is no way they are making the Finals again this year. With Miami, you forget they improved by 28 wins from last season to this. This offseason, sometimes making no moves is the best move. The only thing Miami did was trade a bad locker room presence for one of Wade's and Wright's best friend. With players like Cook, Beasley, Chalmers, Dorell... they are a young team that will only continue to improve, and I think we are going to find some major improvements from O'Neal as well this season. 50 or more wins from Miami, 50 or less from the Magic, and I'm sticking with the Hawks not making the playoffs... maybe bottom seed. That's my prediction. I'm unsure about Dallas, though. They have good offense, but are an aging team..
  4. This guy keeps bringing up overall FG% when talking about clutch shooting.. This doesn't make any sense. Someone can be 19/20 one game, and that 1 miss is the potential game winner, the clutch basket.
  5. By the way, I have to disagree with about all of this. 1. I have never struggled on getting my player from one point to another. When it comes to the other players, speed is fine, coordination is a bit off (and lack of dunking ability for tall players). 2. Some of your teammates are horrible. It's up to you to figure out which one of your teammates can hit shots, which ones can finish at the basket, etc. Sometimes you have good teammates, and sometimes you don't. That's real life. You seriously think 3 assists is difficult? Wow, it's hard for me to get below 10 (my character averages 13 apg).
  6. Whatever team he's a second option for better win a championship.
  7. I guess the draft and free agencies can be sort of interesting.. but it doesn't stop me from being overly anxious to see my team play again.
  8. XBL: TheIBigICheese Games?: NBA 2K, and that's about it as far as online gaming goes. As of right now, my other games are pretty much just 1 player RPGs (Oblivion, Mass Effect, Grand Theft Auto, etc). I've gotten bored of my other online multiplayer games (GoW, Halo, etc).
  9. Toronto will have around 45 wins this year, the Heat will have around 50, Bulls will have around 47, and Orlando will have below 50. People are underrating Toronto and Miami, and overrating the Magic. Also, call me crazy, but I don't expect the Hawks to make the playoffs this year. The Western conference looks about right, though, except I expect Houston to have above .500 record. Either Dallas or Phoenix will miss the playoffs.
  10. I made a 6'3'' Pass-First PG with a 50 rating and my character is projected to be the 2nd round 12th pick draft by LA. What luck, lol. First I was supposed to be picked by the Heat, then after a couple more games it changed to LA. It's like it new what my fave teams were. ^_^
  11. 1. Dwyane Wade 2. Brandon Roy 3. LeBron James 4. Kobe Bryant 5. Chris Paul The reason I put Brandon Roy up there is because of his team. His team won 54 games last year, and that could improve even more next year with the improvement of all the young talent and especially with the addition of Andre Miller. If Roy improves his numbers just slightly (from last year's 22-5-5, to something like 26-5-7rpg) he'll be in the MVP talks. LeBron is low because I don't think he's going to work out well with Shaq. Kobe is low because his numbers won't shine as much with his more than well rounded team.
  12. Durant has improved a heck of a lot from his rookie to his sophomore year. Statistically, he has improved more in one year than Roy has from his first to his third year. This shows me that Durant is more likely to be the better improved player in the future. The Blazer are more likely to have a better team. They have a good core, and they'll be a great team for years to come. I don't see as much potential in the Thunder's squad... maybe if they can get their hands on a legit big.
  13. So wait... he joins the NBA draft, but doesn't want to play for an NBA team? Odd.. and kind of selfish, too. He could have really screwed a team over for doing that.
  14. I hope he will be healthy and getting good PT. When his mind is in the right place, he really is a good player. Better than Jones and Q-Rich, IMO. It would be a shame to see his talent and athleticism go to waste.
  15. Whoops, my bad. *hem* Nice of him to visit magic's house. That must of been an awesome day for her
  16. From what I know, Adelman is not very good at controlling players with attitudes. If Artest wasn't a positive asset on the court, then he should have benched him. If Morey was upset with Adelman's decision, he's got a good enough reputation as a coach to get offers from other teams in the league, so he has nothing to lose. If Artest would have been upset by being benched, he would demand a trade, which is exactly what Morey seems to have wanted anyway. Despite Artest's past, I'm still pretty confident that he'll fit in well with the Lakers. Neither Tracy nor Yao is nearly as hard-nosed as Kobe, and they don't gain nearly the same amount of respect from Ron. Neither does Adelman in comparison to Phil Jackson.
  17. That was then, this is now. I've already made my case.
  18. You honestly think that this will happen under the coaching of Phil Jackson (who owns 10 rings and getting twice the paycheck Ron is getting) and the leadership of Kobe Bryant (a tough leader who Ron has already explained why he doesn't want to get on the bad side of this guy). Even if he DOES start jacking shots, you can bet the ball will not be going to his hands, especially with a line up that is jacked with scoring options. Actually, the only time Ron will really need to get the ball is when he happens to be wide open from all of the extra attention the other players (Kobe, Pau, Odom, Bynum) will be getting, and in that situation, he can jack shots all day. Besides, at this point in Ron's career, I'm sure he values a ring much more than his own shot. Kobe Bryant, the best player of the decade, backed up by Pau Gasol, Lamar Odom, Andrew Bynum, and Ron Artest, plus some solid bench players that could have starting roles on some other teams, and also coached by the best coach of the last 2 decades. You're witnessing another Lakers dynasty, and there's nothing you can do about it. Deal with it.
  19. Letting go of Nate may actually prove to be a good move for New York.
  20. I'm just wondering what your opinions are. Will Beasley be ready to play the position by next year (especially with his current issues)? Or would you rather have one of the other SFs starting (Q-Rich, Jones, Dorell, Yahkouba)?
