Good to see the Heat putting teams away when they should.

Strong leadership + a 24 and 11 average with 52% shooting = MVP caliber to me. There's only two things that keep me from believing this guy to be the actual MVP this year, though. One, his teammates have yet to legitimately respond. And two, LeBron James.

Bosh should be an MVP candidate.

Talking is language. Language is for communication. As long as you understand the speaker, why be bothered by the way they said it.

I felt Swish had a nice flow and an easy rhythm to follow. His lyrics had more structure, but I also felt Legacy was more risky and 'out there' with his lyrics. Both of them are really close, it's a tough choice. Since I have to choose one, I'm going to give a slight edge to Swish. Swish - 8 Legacy - 6

Bulls' Hinrich suspended for making contact with an official
Poe replied to Newman's topic in Chicago Bulls Team Forum
Not a flagrant. I can see why the Bulls were upset. Good for Hinrich for sticking up for himself and his team. -

Lakers' Twin Sisters ain't got nothing on Amundson

No. All athlete and no skill-set, and certainly no time to develop him. He wouldn't even make it in the Euroleague. Maybe the D-League. Maybe.

I think so. Thing is, I doubt any team is actually willing to pick him up at this point. Skip's career in the NBA is pretty much over.

Alston's poor play led him to get only 7 minutes against the Warriors 11 days ago despite starting. The next game, Arroyo started in place of Alston and Chalmers came off the bench as usual, leaving no time remaining for Alston. At this point in the season, Spoelstra is going to give minutes to the most productive players, and Arroyo has been the most consistently solid of all the point guards this year. Maybe Spoe could have used Alston in certain games against particular match ups if better perimeter defense was needed, but with him out now, he no longer has that option. Perhaps he left because he was upset over his role change, or was simply too proud to ever come off the bench, instead of being a mature professional that's ready whenever he's called upon. Or maybe he felt he was no longer needed to the team, so he decided to tend to family issues. Either way, he didn't play well enough while he was here for it to matter too much. Arroyo has clearly been the best out of the three this year, and Chalmers needs to continue to be put in a position to earn playing time so that he can develop into a solid back up heading into next season.

The Heat and the Bulls have been jawing at each other the whole game, especially Wade with Hinrich. The refs called a flagrant foul on Miller (which I personally disagree with - it was just a hard foul), and apparently the whole team got upset over it. I think the outbreak was more towards self-frustration than anything else. They've had some tough losses with key injuries at the worst time in the season, leading to a 7 game losing streak. The Bulls just sort of let out their frustrations against the Heat and the refs today.

Basically, the players need to become less me-oriented and more team-oriented if LA is to win another championship.
-
Yea, with Hinrich guarding Wade, the key for tonight offensively will be to give the ball to the better matchups... Beasley on Taj and JO on Miller. At the same time, though, if Rose is out, then that means Hinrich will be handling the ball more as well, giving him less energy for the defensive end.

Anyone else?

I heard Rose might not play, adding to the fact that Noah is still injured and they no longer have Salmons. This is also a back-to-back for the Bulls after getting blown out by the Magic for their 6th straight loss. Miami should have an easy win. And, yea, since the trade and Joakim's injury, I didn't think the Bulls would make the playoffs this year. I think the 8 playoff teams in the East have pretty much been decided.

I thought the Mavs would have given the Lakers trouble earlier in the season, before the trade. Now, they are more than a team to fear. Last summer I thought the Lakers were going to repeat without question. Now, it's a whole different story. I'm calling a Mavs - Lakers WCF. Whether LA wins will be a test of Kobe's greatness.

That's true. At the same time, Boozer and Amare have the luxury to feed off of great PGs, Deron and Nash. While Lee's position and D'Antoni's offensive system may benefit him to a certain extent, the primary playmaker for almost the whole year has been Chris Duhon, who's hardly a benefit to anyone playing with him. Maybe him mismatching Cs somewhat helps his FG%, but at the same time, he's also grabbing nearly 12 boards per game despite being outsized. If Lee were to play PF with a top 5 PG, he'd probably still average a similar number of points if not more, while grabbing more rebounds, and appear better defensively when matched up against players his own size.

The story was complete bs. I'd like to know how the case turned out, if it's been resolved yet.

Barkley is such an idiot.... which is why he's so entertaining to listen to

Jackson > Ellis

I'd be happy for a matchup against either the Hawks or Celtics, more preferably the Hawks since Rondo would give the Heat problems.
-
First Arroyo, now Wright? This story sounds legit, though. Yea, a few games sounds about right. WTF was he thinking, now the Heat are going to be virtually bench-less until he gets back. Hopefully Chalmers and Jones continue to play like they did against LAC.

I see David Lee as more of a PF that has to play C since he's playing for D'Antoni. For almost any other coach or team in the league, he'd play PF.
