  1. Wow, 2 J. Smiths. That could get confusing.

  3. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XXcep3byiuo Nothing major, and it's hard to judge user control considering the guy that's playing made a gigantic shooting guard, and the creators said that the bigger your player is in a certain position, the harder it is to get their ratings up. That's why he's moving so slow.
  4. Someone hit me up next time they're on. Mdj28 is the gamertag, and I'm pretty damn awful at Madden, always have been.
  5. The assumption has been that Miller will occupy the starting 2 guard spot, but according to Flip, nothing is guaranteed yet. He will use training camp to analyze who is best suited for that position. Every player has their own pros and cons for starting. This is how I see it: Mike Miller Pros: Lights out 3 point shooter Decent height advantage Great offensive IQ, makes smart decisions Probably the best perimeter weapon, he will be one of Gilbert's favorite targets when running the point Cons: Lacks an all around defensive game, weak perimeter defender Not an aggressive driver to the rim Randy Foye Pros: Decent perimeter shooter Aggressive when driving into the paint Combo guard, can play a true point guard and shooting guard Decent lockdown defender. Not great, but he can get the job done Very athletic and explosive Cons: Doesn't have the greatest size for a 2 guard Plays a lot like Gilbert, and having two combo guards running the backcourt could cause some offensive confusion Isn't really a weapon, likes to create his own shot. Again, Gilbert is the same way, and having to players like that could potentially lessen effective ball movement Deshawn Stevenson Pros: Great perimeter shooter Great lockdown defender, guards the star player on the opposing team (guards and small forwards obviously) Has proven to be effective in the clutch (although that doesn't really apply to starting) Is an effective offensive weapon, he can get open to take a 3 pointer if whoever is running the point can get him open Cons: Can't create his own shot Not great at getting to the rim Average ball handler Offensive IQ is sometimes questionable Just came off of back surgery, performing like his old self is questionable The cons I mentioned for Foye regarding him and Gilbert being similar players isn't necessarily bad. The only reason I made it a con is that it is going to require them both to have a lot of chemistry between each other to be effective on the floor together. They have to know who is going to be the weapon and who is going to be running the floor. It almost seems like it is going to require a lot of experimenting, but has the potential to be a fantastic guard combo. In my honest opinion though, I think Miller should start at the 2. He seems to be the best "weapon" between the 3 of them, and Foye would probably be best suited for bringing energy off of the bench. For Deshawn, however, I personally think his minutes should be reduced a lot this season, and most of those extra minutes left for the two guards should go to Nick Young. I just don't see Deshawn playing like his old "lockdown defender + 3 point shooter" self after coming off of such a big surgery.
  6. Good find, it definitely looks better than last year, but I still hate the bizarre ball handling by the players, it just looks really robotic and awkward. That's one of the biggest problems I've always had with the game. Oh well, whichever game has the better Dynasty/Association mode is the one I'm going with. So I'm 99% sure I'm getting 2k10.
  7. Well I just went out and got it anyway. It's pretty good, but the commentary makes me yawn lol. "Portis runs.... touchdown for... Washington...." yay...!!! Everything else is good though, I'm glad they slowed down the overall gameplay to make it more realistic.
  8. I think he has a great chance of making the all star team just due to his popularity. Both seasons that he was out, he was still way up there on the voting list for East guards. Since he'll be doing a lot more focusing on passing than he ever has before, I don't think it will be too hard for him to put up all star numbers. He could potentially be a 22-23 ppg and 8-10 apg player.
  9. Are there any real annoying issues with the game this year? I didn't get it last night and now I'm wondering if I should still go out and get it. My point being, is it worth 60 bucks?
  10. Sweet, I got one 5 minutes from my neighborhood. I'll head over there at midnight.
  11. I'm still wondering if I should head over at midnight. Is Best Buy selling it then or just Wal-Mart?
  12. Old news but it's still good to hear. I'm looking forward to DC.
  13. I don't think so, the West is just too strong right now. With the teams you mentioned before: Lakers, Spurs, Mavericks, Nuggets, Hornets, Jazz, Blazers, they're all basically guaranteed the top 7 spots. The Clippers, Suns, and Warriors IMO have the highest chance at acquiring the 8th seed. The 2 teams in that group that don't snag it would most likely get the next 2. So therefore, I don't even see the Thunder as a top 10 team in the West yet. In the near future, yes. Right now, no.
  14. Looking forward to him proving all of his doubters wrong this upcoming season.
  15. It's not. It just wasn't live, but the camera man must have uploaded one of the outtakes.
  16. I wonder if Live will update Dwight with his Snickers bar.
  17. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gs5LSe_HRQk I was dying at this video hahahaha. Keep an eye out for 0:17
  18. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f8MNH7JuR7I&feature=related The change in accent is [expletive]ing hilarious.
  19. I'd be surprised if ESPN didn't talk about this at least once. What was the 3rd picture lol
  20. Well it's just my opinion, but I think Reggie should be higher up on the list. No need to criticize ECN. This isn't like your "Kobe is better than MJ" debate lol.
  21. Iverson all the way up at number 7 is a question mark. The rest I agree with.
