Gah, everyone tells me the second day is the worst, and I was hoping it was because my painkillers just wore off and now I look like a miserable chipmunk haha. I can't imagine what the 3rd day is going to be like.... :wallbash3: :wallbash3:

Jamison Intrigued By Marbury Rumors
JWaLL replied to The Goods's topic in Washington Wizards Team Forum
Jamison must be on crack. I don't want Marbury anywhere near DC. -
Wireless my friend. Works like a charm.

My god... it looks like I'm smuggling 2 baseballs in my mouth right now. I just took 4 more motrin and a percocet and now I "feel" better, but not necessarily look better. I'm not going to see the light of day for a while lol.

Hall of fame difficulty forces you to use a different play almost every time and really focus on defense. I used the Wizards against the Lakers on the HOF difficulty with the only slider being changed was lowering both mine and the CPU's blocking ability, and changing the player speed to 62 but leaving game speed at 50. I played with 7 minute quarters to get realistic stats and scores, and I ended up winning by like over 15 or something. I do agree that 2k makes any player potentially Jordanesque, but running plays every time really helps.

I finally got the feeling back in my lower jaw and lips around 6 pm (the procedure was finished by 10:15 am). I've taken 8 Motrins (4 at 2 separate times) along with 2 percocets, and I guess you could say I've been in my "happy place" since then. According to my family I have been saying the most bizarre things they've ever heard, and most is just gibberish. Right now I can at least communicate thanks to these painkillers. All I've had to eat all day is one small cup of apple sauce, oatmeal, and a bottle of water. For some reason I still have no feeling in my tongue though and can't really taste anything... I called the doctor and I have to go back to make sure they didn't accidently hit a nerve or something during the surgery, which could potentially (not likely) cause permanent damage. Thanks for the appreciation though guys, I hope this hell goes away soon.

Damn those screens look nice, much better than the past games. I hope they change the [expletive]ty gameplay. I'll at least download the Live demo. I'm still definitely getting 2k though.

Great news for the Wizards...
-
Really? Why would it be worse?
-
I....feel....like....[expletive] I want my wisdom teeth back.

Ugh.... I feel like absolute [expletive] right now, it's taking me a while to type this post because I keep missing certain letters... I'm wearing a hood with ice strapped to both sides of my face right now. Writing this post took almost a minute.

Of course it's possible. It's possible for the Thunder to make the playoffs. But no one knows how the season is going to go with so many teams meshing with their new players. If that Stoudamire trade ever happened for you guys then I'd say definitely a possibility.

I somewhat agree, considering Dwight was drafted as a power forward as opposed to a center. They'll have to experiment if they're going to be starting Gortat, seeing where he would fit in better. Personally, I would have him play the power forward more on the offensive end, but he can function as a center more on the defensive end.

I hate this commercial and everyone in it. Free Triple Score .com is not hard to say 3 times oh my god, they all mess up on purpose. I honestly cringe every time I see this commercial. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OXxuO19if7M

Famous athletes that went to your school?
JWaLL replied to Cobb's topic in Off-Topic Discussion Forum
None from mine, but our rival school about 5 minutes down the road had Grant Hill graduate from there. -
Haha 3 weeks?? Longest duration of pain I've heard so far is my little brother who got his out years ago, but they weren't fully grown in so it took a lot longer and a lot more effort to pull them out so he was swollen and in pain for about 2 weeks at most. Wow, I hope all goes well. I'm leaving for the doctor in about 10 minutes. Wish me luck haha.

Garnett. Better rebounder, better defender, and is a true team leader. Not saying Dirk isn't one, but KG can definitely get a team hyped up.

What's the site?

Source: Odom, Lakers agree on deal (Pg. 14)
JWaLL replied to The Goods's topic in Los Angeles Lakers Team Forum
Where did you hear that? Sources say he turned down that offer as well as the 3 year, $30 million deal. -
I like this, and I especially like the text. Don't know why you don't like it, Kirby lol. Top one is better IMO.

Haha yeah I just realized how much I wrote in that post. But it's a really interesting topic, especially to me since I'm going to take psychology classes in college.

Jefferson cancels $2M wedding at last minute
JWaLL replied to JWaLL's topic in San Antonio Spurs Team Forum
Tony Parker is married to Eva Longoria, and she's much hotter than both KG and Kobe's wives. -
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=opcT9pVQQpQ Just watch this guy's athleticism and look how high he gets. If he really focuses on getting stronger he could be a true star NBA center. This video shows why we Wizard fans are high on this guy.

I usually forget dreams, but that doesn't mean it was a dreamless sleep, it just means the events you played in your head weren't very significant and therefore didn't stick with you. I've had lucid dreams before, where you can control what you're doing in the dream. Like flying, etc. I googled it and there are ways to force a lucid dream, but you wake up with a huge headache because a dream is a "mind dump" and you don't really get to dump your mind when you take control of it. It's scary but fun as hell. Flying is freaky. Everything is extra colorful and you're just flying from imaginary place to imaginary place at fast speeds. Here's a link about lucid dreaming: http://serendip.brynmawr.edu/exchange/node/1759
