  1. If you have slept in the hotel bed you could be allergic to some sort of dust or other particles in the sheets. I always get allergy-like symptoms at hotels.
  2. The Magic would be better off starting Bass at the 4. He's a true power forward. I don't think Gortat is quick enough to defend elite power forwards. We'll see how the Magic handle it. I do agree that he has proven to deserve a lot more minutes though.
  3. Jamison is a power forward my friend. Gilbert Deshawn Caron Antawn Haywood That was the Wizards' main lineup.
  4. I'm nervous now haha. I'm going to look like an absolute tool when my family comes down to visit. I'm not going to want to talk to anyone. I'll probably just be playing xbox during the whole healing process, if I even have the effort for that.
  5. God he sucks at rapping.... I cry for mike I cry for mike I cry for mike hahaha.
  6. I should have gotten this done years ago. I'm not really sure what to expect because so many people have different results. Some are in pain for up to a week, others for barely a day. Anybody else have theirs pulled yet? I'm pissed because I have relatives coming to visit pretty soon and I don't want to look like a whining chipmunk when I see them lol.
  7. 1. Brandon Roy 2. Rajon Rondo 3. Rudy Gay 4. LaMarcus Aldridge 5. Randy Foye 6. Andrea Bargnani 7. Paul Millsap
  8. Oh of course I'm getting 2k, I never even consider Live. I'll download both demos, but there is a 100% chance I end up going with 2k.
  9. Jamison plays ok defense, he just doesn't block many shots. But he can get a couple steals here and there, and is good at altering shots. He is just below average at actually swatting the ball back.
  10. Agreed. That's why I only play association mode, unless one of my friends organizes an online game. I never play ranked or anything like that.
  11. Well considering it's dark out and the court appears to be as bright as the sun, I'd have to guess that too haha.
  12. Are you kidding me? That's [expletive]ing insane. Although it looks like one gust of wind could ruin it.
  13. I think my biggest annoyance about 2k was the lack of emotion. I hit a game winner, and all I hear are a few whistles from the crowd, the player who made the shot is just clapping his hands and bobbing his head, and all the players and coach just walk to the locker room like they just lost the game or something. Very annoying. Also, actually MAKING a game winner is hard when there is like no time left. I remember one situation, I'm down by 2 with .6 seconds left, and I inbound the ball to Rashard Lewis, and he couldn't even get his wide open shot off in time before the buzzer sounded.... He caught the ball, paused, and THEN went up for the shot. Of course the buzzer sounded right when the ball was above his head getting ready to shoot. Stupid 2k.
  14. You have no idea haha. There are 3 separate nightmares I remember from last night, but I feel like there was more. 1. My house was being robbed by multiple people and I was all alone, but I fell down and couldn't move, so they started attacking me haha. 2. Just repeated clips of me falling off different places for long periods of time.... 3. I was having a "good" dream with an unknown hot girl lol , but it was interrupted by my maid's vacuum at about 8 in the morning. I call that a nightmare
  15. The dude is a serious monster, I never understood why he didn't get much attention. Every Warriors game I ever saw, he always played with such high intensity and played his role very well. He could very well be an all star one day, but hall of fame is saying a bit much.
  16. Obviously David West is younger and will most likely improve as the years progress, but I'm talking about right now. Who do you think is better between these 2 very similar players? They put up similar numbers, both have very similar games, but the question is, who do you think is better? David West is a little more athletic than Jamison, but Jamison has a better shot. They're pretty close with rebounding ability, AJ might have the slight edge. I'd honestly (no bias) have to take Jamison just because he is a better rebounder on the offensive end, he has that unorthodox but virtually unstoppable scoop shot in the low post, and can stretch the D out to the 3 point line.
  17. You're joking right? Parker is still young and considered the 3rd best point guard in the league. Duncan still puts up double-double numbers virtually every night. Ginobili still plays with high energy and can still score easily. In addition to their old team, they now acquired an athletic swingman in Richard Jefferson while giving up almost nothing, they drafted DeJuan Blair, who is probably the biggest steal in the draft, and there is a chance they might re-acquire Bowen. So tell me... how have the Spurs gotten worse? And how can they not compete with the Lakers, Cavs, or Magic?
  18. http://www.realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/60590/20090715/jefferson_cancels_$2m_wedding_at_last_minute/ I feel bad for her, any wedding cancellation would be painful, but I can't imagine it happening at the last minute.
  19. That's exactly why I like Gil so much. Just an unpredictable character. He never worries about being "politically correct" during interviews. He just says what's on his mind, and he'll surprise you in so many ways with his game. I really want him to have a breakout year this upcoming season. I've talked to him multiple times and he's a very cool guy. He doesn't try to stay low key like most celebrities when they try to avoid talking to people. He's very open to conversations from all people.
  20. Well he is really focusing on his passing game this year, so he might practice that in the summer league. Maybe he'll break the record for most assists in a summer league game.
  21. He's an ok shooter, but he should definitely be functioning in the low post, not away from the basket. I want to see him post up more and then slam it down.
  22. I hope he breaks the scoring record. That'd be sick.
  23. Pulled from the Washington Post. Personally I think this is a smart decision. Gil has barely had any real NBA "game" experience in the last 2 seasons. Being healthy during drills and plays in practice doesn't mean he is 100% ready to be the player he used to be, so playing in an uptempo game against unfamiliar players could be a good preparation for him.
  24. Man all you guys have some unusual resolutions haha. For me, the Kobe/Lebron renders are about an inch and a half from my profile box in the upper right hand corner of the board, so no problems about empty space here.
