Sixers trading Miller to Blazers
JWaLL replied to magicbalala245's topic in Philadelphia 76ers Team Forum
I guess the Sixers are really focusing on 3 point shooting this upcoming season. First they trade for Kapono, now they're trading for Blake. Not bad for them i guess. -
A few minutes from D.C. My college is here too.
-
Haha well why did you only spend 5 minutes on it? I've seen some of your work and you're a pretty good graphic artist, you probably could have made this one of your best.
-
I'd be pissed if I had to drive that too, but hell I wouldn't throw a hissy fit like a spoiled brat I'd at least be appreciative... in a fake way.
-
Actually I do.... and while I'm not saying Bonner sucks, I am saying they can do a much better job at the center spot than Bonner. As far as doing things that are required by a center (rebounding, shot blocking, shot altering) he is an average to below average center, and you can't deny that. Sure he spreads the floor but the Spurs really need a rebounding force to accompany Duncan. Rasheed can do everything Bonner can and more. I'm saying he's an upgrade, and you're acting like Bonner is a better fit than him.

Which Jefferson are you talking about? Some have responded with Richard and others have responded with Al.... If you're comparing RJ and Artest, then Artest no question. More aggressive overall player and plays much better defense. If you're comparing Artest and Al, well they're different positions but Al is a much more effective player. He can give you at least a 20 point 10 rebound game daily. Edit: Oh wait, I just saw Fish said "All Jefferson is" not "Al Jefferson is" lol, my bad.

Ariza verbally commits to Houston
JWaLL replied to magicbalala245's topic in Houston Rockets Team Forum
Not a bad pickup considering Artest left. He's a slightly worse version of Artest so I guess it's not a horrible pickup for the Rockets. I would assume they aren't done signing players. -
I think they'll be ok... Give Flip a chance we haven't even seen what he can do yet. Defense is our main focus I doubt he would put more focus on offense in the offseason.
-
It's not terrible B4KED, but I think I'm going to wait for someone else to give it a try. Sorry.
-
Yeah ok and the Rockets are going to win the championship...

Iverson on the Heat? What would his role be there? You have Wade at shooting guard, Chalmers at the point, Iverson can't really play the point so would he be a backup to Wade?
-
That didn't at all show why defense is harder to learn. All you said is that there is no point in having a good offense if you don't have defense, which isn't even true.
-
....Care to explain?

Gortat Gives Verbal Commitment To Sign With Dallas
JWaLL replied to MainEv3nt's topic in Dallas Mavericks Team Forum
I wonder if Gortat will snag the starting role from Dampier. He is truly one of the most underrated backups in the game. He just has a very efficient "get it done" game. -
Iverson Interested In Joining Grizzlies

Third, chill out. He was joking. -
Iverson Interested In Joining Grizzlies
JWaLL replied to The Goods's topic in Memphis Grizzlies Team Forum
Well sources claim that Iverson is having some financial issues (I have no idea how...) so there's no doubting why he would prefer the Grizzlies. -
Offense. Defense is more teachable, just learn the proper stances and know what parts of the body of the offensive player to watch. Offense is sort of a given ability through natural finesse and coordination, and therefore is harder to teach.

Ariza to earn 32 to 40 million dollars
JWaLL replied to magicbalala245's topic in Los Angeles Lakers Team Forum
Why would Shaq make it harder for Lebron to get to the basket....? It's not like Shaq is just going to sit there and set a pick on his teammate. How often do you see a player run into their own teammate on their way to a basket? Maybe once or twice each year, and it ends up on a blooper reel. Shaq isn't necessarily making the Cavs a guarenteed championship contender, but he isn't going to get in the way of his own teammates. -
I guarantee this won't happen... This is one of the most bogus rumors I've heard so far.

Fixed.
