  1. Its the scorekeeps fault, which is whos fault it is in Cleveland for the shot clock malfunction. Same thing. Also, don't forget when they straight up forgot to count a basket by TJ Ford as well. I don't think that it directly cost the Raptors the game, but it definitely had a huge impact on the game. Karma's a [expletive], Hawks fans. Seriously though, you hate to see stuff like this happen, regardless of whether or not it helps or hurts your favourite team.
  2. Last I heard they were now targeting January 6th as a return date. Also, I read on another forum that Reggie Evans had a good MRI two days ago and was going to talk to a doctor after last nights game to see when he could start to do more things on the court.
  3. Umm, the Raptors have been a [expletive]ty defensive team for the better part of this decade, so yeah, that "excuse" has always applied. Since Colangelo took over the team they have been a team filled with good shooters who feed off of dribble penetration/double teams inside and weak defensive players. So for the last 3 or 4 years, yeah, the same things have applied because they have basically been the same team with just different players. This season is just an extreme version of all the other years in that they are the same kind of team offensively with just better offensive players, but they are a worse defensive team than normal. And how exactly can having one of the most inept defensive roster in the last 10-20 years be applied to pretty much any team in the NBA? The Raptors have literally no player on their roster that has played a significant role this season that could be considered more than average defensively, and they have players like Jose Calderon, Andrea Bargnani and Marco Belinelli who are absolute liabilities on the defensive end getting significant playing time. I fail to see how being one of the worst defensive teams in the last 20 years being applicable to basically every team in the NBA. And how the hell do you figure that a lack of talent has not always been a problem? Since Bosh became the number one guy on this team he has had supporting casts that consist of: 2005-2006 Mike James Morris Peterson Charlie Villanueva Matt Bonner Jalen Rose was on the team but he was injured for half of the season and a lot of the games that he did play in he played with a cast on his shooting hand, which effected his play. Mike James was the second best player on this team. Think about that, Mike James. Sure, he scored 20 ppg but when Mike James is your second best player you have some serious issues on the team. 2006-2007 TJ Ford Anthony Parker Jorge Garbajosa Andrea Bargnani Jose Calderon (wasn't the same player he is today then) Morris Peterson (barley played towards the end of the season for some reason) Whe TJ Ford is the second best player on your team, you know that you don't have much talent surrounding you. This is nothing against TJ Ford as he was my favourite Raptor player at that time, but it doesn't change the fact that he is a 4th option on a good team at best. Sure, the Raptors managed to win 47 games this season, but it was a combination of playing in an absolutely [expletive]ty Eastern Conference and teams like New Jersey and Washington were hit with injuries, which derailed their season. The Nets were a better team when healthy, and they showed that in the playoffs against Toronto that season. 2007-2008 Anthony Parker TJ Ford (injured for 31 games) Jose Calderon Andrea Bargnani Carlos Delfino Jamario Moon Bargnani had a terrible sophomore season shooting under 38% from the field and was a non factor when he was on the floor. Ford was injured for 31 games after Al Horford nearly decapitated him and wasn't the same player when he returned. Anthony Parker was the second leading scorer on the team. Do you honestly think that a team with Anthony Parker as a second leading scorer is going anywhere? Bosh also missed 15 games this season and, if I recall correctly, the team struggled horribly when Bosh was out because of the fact that they didn't have anybody on the team capable of picking up the slack for him. 2008-2009 Jermaine O'Neal/Shawn Marion Andrea Bargnani Jose Calderon Anthony Parker Jason Kapono Joey Graham O'Neal and Marion had some good games for the Raptors, but in Marion's case, he didn't fit in with the team or have enough time to adjust after being traded. Bargnani had a good season offensively, but we all know how bad he is defensively and when JO was traded Bosh was forced to play center and anchor the defense again. Anthony Parker started to slow down both offensively and defensively and Jason Kapono and Joey Graham straight up suck. Calderon battled injuries all season long, which you could tell was affecting his play and when he missed 14 games the Raptors had Will Solomon and Roko Ukic getting major minutes at point guard. Good god. This season Bosh has the best supporting cast that he has ever had since taking over from Vince Carter as the go to guy (a role that doesn't suit him by the way, and everybody who watches the Raptors know this) and it still isn't anything special as outside of Bargnani, Turkoglu, Calderon and Jack they are nothing special, and Bargnani, Calderon and Jack are average players respective to their positions. Combine an overall average team talent wise with the fact that the Raptors have had one of the most difficult schedules to start the season (they played 30 games in 52 days which leaves little to no time for practice, and that is magnified by the fact that they were intergrating 9 new players into the mix) and that has resulted in a .500 record. The problem most is people don't even seem to bother to watch Raptor games, which makes them not develop an opinion of the player theirselves, and instead they just hear one person say something about Bosh and they run with it. Somebody says that Bosh is nothing but a jump shooter and that opinion sticks for good because "experts" (anaylsts like Payton and some fans on message boards) don't even seem to bother to watch the games. You still hear that Bosh is a soft jump shooter today even though he is leading the league in double doubles, in the top 10 of rebounding (6) and offensive rebounding (9) and gets to the line as much as any big man not named Dwight Howard (he has attempted 9 less free thros than Dwight). I'm not saying that Bosh is a great leader or anything because he is not. His game and demeanor on the court are both much better suited to be a second option on a great team, but its laughable as far as I am concerned to say that Bosh's leadership is part of the problem with the Raptors when he has had [expletive]ty supporting casts for the majority of his career and nobody, aside from players like Kobe Bryant, Dwyane Wade, LeBron James and maybe Dwight Howard would've experienced any sort of success with the supporting cast that Bosh has had to play with. Whatever though, I am getting carried away here. If people want to call Bosh the most overrated player in the league, so be it. It just goes to show me who actually watches Raptor games and who just goes off of general opinion. Gary Payton was a great player but he is a god awful analyst anyways. One thing that I don't understand though, is how is Chris Bosh the most overrated player in the NBA when he is a better player than Amare Stoudemire and people figure that Amare is going to be getting max money, or near max money, in the offseason as well? Makes no sense to me. I hate posting about this subject though because of how many times I have defended Bosh on the matter and, up until this season, I have never even been a fan of Bosh's, and even now I wouldn't consider myself a huge fan of his, but it is the exact same debate every time, and quite frankly, it grew old during the summer. I wasn't even going to post in this thread, lol. I can't believe I got sucked into another one of these damn threads.
  4. Defense and a lack of talent has nothing to do with it right? Its strictly lack of leadership.
  5. Its as much the Hawks palyers and coaching staff's fault as it is the refs if you ask me. Sure, the refs [expletive]ed up big time and definitely made a huge mistake, but the players and coaching staff had the exact same "big shot clock in their face" and didn't notice anything either. Somebody on the Hawks bench or even on the floor should've noticed that the shot clock didn't reset as well. Obviously most of the blame should go towards the score keepers bench as they are the ones who control the shot clock, then the refs should get a fair amount of blame as well, but somebody on the Hawks should've noticed it as well, if you ask me. It was a critical error, that is for sure. Sloppy all around. Don't you get tired of constantly hating on the Cavs and LeBron? I know for damn sure that I am, as well as a number of other posters on this forum, are for damn sure sick and tired of hearing your constant [expletive]ing of everything LeBron/Cavs related. I am sure that the refs did this on purpose as a birthday present for LeBron James.
  6. Antoine Wright, you finally did something useful. It only took 30+ games. Better late than never, I guess. Bargnani with the huge 3. What a pass from Bosh there. Great play drawn up by Triano out of the timeout. He knew that putting the ball in Bosh's hands would force the Bobcats to double, or in this case triple, and he set Bargnani on the weakside for the good look from 3. Fantastic play by Triano.
  7. Nice flop by Wallace there. No way would bumping into Jack like that send Wallace flying like that. That flop was worse than Belinelli's in the first half, and that was a terrible flop by Belinelii. That one sequence where they called off Bosh's dunk (was continuation if you ask me, but that could be some homerism talking, not sure) and then the BS flop from Wallace completely turned the tide of the game. Raptors would've been up 10 or so, but now the lead is only 3 after a Belinelli layup. Jackson is a turnover machine. They seem to come at the most worst possible time as well. Bosh to the line looking to extend this to a 5 point lead.
  8. Lmao at that shot from Amir Johnson. Raptors have hit some really lucky shots in the last couple of minutes. EDIT: Turns out he didn't get the shot off before the shot clock ran out. Tough break.
  9. Sonny Weems sure doesn't get cheated. When he is on the floor, you can fully expect him to start chucking up shtos. He had like 3 shots in the first minute of play. Anybody know why Diaw is so much heavier than normal? He looks a lot bigger this season, and it doesn't look like muscle either.
  10. PC for sure. I am pretty sure that they released, or are releasing, one for the 360 but not sure which installment of it. Don't know about PS3 either. I've never been into Star Wars though, so I don't know much about the game.
  11. A lot of it had to do with the fact that the Pistons were missing their 3 best players (Gordon, Hamilton and Prince) and Charlie Villanueva and Will Bynum were both injured and shouldn't have been playing, but becuase of the injuries, they were forced to play. All the Raptors had to do with stop Stuckey and that was really the only offensove threat on the floor. Not that I am complaining though, lol. Eh, I just don't see how the Raptors have any shot of catching the Hawks. Getting off to a great start is one thing, but sustaining it for nearly half of the season makes you for real as far as I am concerned. They may fall behind the Cavs, Celtics and Magic, but no way do they fall out of that 4th seed if you ask me. The only team that I can see them upsetting in the playoffs would be Cleveland, and even then, I would give them no more than a 5% chance to do it, if that. The only reason I say this is because of the mismatch that Toronto's bigs have over Cleveland's bigs. Even then, LeBron would have an absolute field day and make up for that, and if Shaq plays like he is capable of, the Raptors would get swept. Maybe they could steal a game against Orlando or Cleveland, but that would be the most I could see. Boston would dominate them.
  12. I don't have any problems with the controlling for the PS3. It plays completely fine if you ask me. It takes a little while to get used to it, but once you do it is fine. Knights of the Old Republic. It is another RPG made by BioWare. I haven't played it before but I have heard a lot of good things from it. I've always like BioWare games though.
  13. The best part of the video is how they rip on some of Matt Devlin's horribly catch phrases like "Sonny Side Up", "Double Dee" and "New Jack City". The only thing missing was them ripping on "Kid Dynamite". God Devlin is a terrible announcer and has to have the worst catch phrases/nicknames in the NBA. I never thought that I would miss Chuck Swirsky, but I do. PS: Am I the only one that thought this would be a skit from Chris Bosh after reading the title?
  14. I'm just wondering, how many people actually clicked on the link and read more than what was posted in the first post? I just happened to do that and found this: I don't doubt for a second that there are numerous teams interested in acquiring Martin, but the real question is, are the Kings actually interested in trading him?
  15. Haha, yeah, almost everybody that doesn't know how old I am always thinks that I am older than 17 years old. I remember talking with Eastcoast Assassain after we got in that debate about Grant Hill and Scottie Pippen (or something like that) on here in the summer and he thought that I was around the same age as Brandon is, not only a year older than him, lol.
  16. I'd just like to add one thing. There is absolutely no way that the Raptors would be able to beat an offer for Martin if Houston is actually interested in acquiring him. Houston would be able to trade McGrady's expiring deal to them, along with one of Lowry or Brooks (I'd assume Lowry) and they could take a contract like Nocioni or Garcia back if the Kings are looking to dump one of their bad contracts. I don't think that the Raptors would be able to beat an offer of Zydrunas Ilgauskas from the Cavs either. So unless the Kings GM is incredibly high on Calderon or Bargnani or something, I don't realistically see the Raptors being able to land Martin in a deal, assuming that Houston and the Cavs, Houston in particular, are actually interested in acquiring Martin as well.
  17. I'd imagine that Calderon would be involved which would mean, believe it or not, Bryan Colangelo would be making a trade that would quite possibly improve the Raptors defese. :o _______________________________________________________________________________________ I'm just throwing a couple of trade scenario out there. I'm not saying that these are something that I think they would do or anything like that, but just throwing them out there to see what you guys think about it: Scenario 1 http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=yl9locz Jose Calderon for Kevin Martin Now I admit to not watching the Kings much this season but I would imagine that the Kings would want to acquire a point guard as they are playing Beno Udrih 30 minutes a game. Nothing against Udrih but he is not good enough to play 30 minutes a game at the NBA level. I think that he would be a very good backup point guard but I don't like him as a starter. He has had a good season so far, but I wouldn't trust him being my main point guard heading forward. Jose Calderon is a poor defender but Udrih is nothing special either in that regard. Offensively, Calderon's shooting ability would help space the floor for Evans to attack the paint, and it would also open things up down low for players like Spencer Hawes and Jason Thompson. He is an above average playmaker and would give the Kings another solid ball handler in the starting lineup to compliment Evans, who turns the ball over 3 times a game and a reliable ball handler and free throw shooter in pressure situations. Offensively, Calderon is a good player, a better player than Udrih and both are terrible defenders. The Kings would dump Martin who they really have no use for with the emergance of Evans for a solid, efficient point guard, and in the process don't take anymore salary back in the deal as Calderon is making less money over the next 4 years than Martin would. For Toronto's perspective, they get a bonafide 2nd option to pair with Chris Bosh. Martin doesn't bring much outside of scoring to the floor, but his lack of defense wouldn't make much of a difference with the Raptors sending Jose Calderon the other way. He would give the Raptors another perimeter scorer who can take the pressure off of Bosh. They have Bargnani and Turkoglu who can both score the rock, but neither of them have the pure scoring ability of Kevin Martin. This would upgrade the Raptors talent level and potentially put them over the top and move them into that 5th seed in the East, and maybe, just maybe, could go a long way into convincing Bosh to resign by giving him a legitimate 2nd option for the next 4 years. Scenario 2 http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=yzbbpfp Jose Calderon Antoine Wright for Kevin Martin Same as above, but in case the Kings want more they get a veteran, above average shooting guard to come off of the bench for them. Even if they don't use him, they get his $1.8M expiring deal. Scenario 3 http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=ykpyfxc Jose Calderon Marco Belinelli for Kevin Martin If they don't want Wright, they could ask for Belinelli who is signed through next season, but is a better player than Wright and it younger. If I were the Raptors, I would probably ask for a 2nd rounder in return or possibly an expiring contract though. Scenario 4 http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=ykq33e7 Jose Calderon Rasho Nesterovic for Kevin Martin Same idea as the Wright trade but they get an expierenced veteran big man off of the bench, and a $1.9M expiring contract off of the books at the end of the year. He could be a great mentor for Spencer Hawes. I wouldn't want to see the Raptors do this trade as I think that as the season goes along Rasho is going to play a role for the team, especially in the playoffs and it would create a complete log jam at the 2/3 spot with Martin, Turkoglu, DeRozan, Wright, Belinelli and Weems all looking for minutes at this position. This one doesn't make much sense for Toronto, but I figured I would throw it out there anyways. The most realistic deal that I see would have to be the Calderon + Wright for Martin trade as the Kings would get a serviceable bench 2/3 who comes off the books at the end of the year. Anyways, just thought I would throw those scenarios out there. The only way that I would take Martin on is if Calderon were to be involved in the deal. If the Kings don't want Calderon I don't see anything happening. I actually don't see anything happening regardless, but I figured I would play around a bit and dream, lol.
  18. The amount of plays that Detroit has flopped on in this game is ridiculous. People are always getting on the case for the "soft European" Raptors for flopping but the amount of times that I have seen Hamilton, Stuckey, Gordon and Jerebko flop in this game is ridiculous. I'm not saying that the Raptors don't flop because they defintely do, but from the 3 games that I have watched the Pistons and Raptors play, Detroit flops way more, but they don't get nearly as much hate about it because it isn't Europeans doing it. I don't mean any sort of racial thing by this statement, I just think that it is true. American players don't get nearly as much flak for flopping than European players, despite the fact that a lot of American's are just as bad at it. This game has been so frusturating as a Raptors fan though. This is the exact same kind of inconsistency that has plauged the Raptors all season long. The difference between the play in the 1st and 2nd halves is disguisting.
  19. Raptors playing aggressively offensively and defensively in the first half = 20 point half time lead. Raptors playing passively offensively and defensively in the 2nd half = 7 point lead and falling.
  20. I just looked at the first KIR and it said that the topic would be closed after 5 days so I wasn't sure if you were still going by that or not, lol.
  21. Not sure when I was/am supposed to answer these but I have nothing to do now so I figured I would answer now, haha. 1. Maybe, what would you do for it? :glasses: 2. Nope 3. 9:35:30 damn, 31, 32, 33 .... damn it. 4. 1. You know it. 2. Nope, a Pontiac Grand Am GT 3. Just general NBA. If I had to choose something, it would probably be rankings like that Trio one I wrote in the summer. 4. Hell no, lol. 5. Probably Lost. I started watching it in the summer and I got hooked, haha. House is a close 2nd. I liked the earlier seasons better though. I haven't watched any of the 5th or 6th seasons so far, been catching up with them online. 6. Turkey dinner 7. June 2nd, 1992 8. I like going to school, but I don't particularly enjoy going to class, haha. 1. Is there a right answer to this question? I'll go with an apple (first fruit that came to mind haha). 2. The intelligent Raptors discussion. Other than ISH, which I lurk wayyyyyy more than I post, I haven't ever really posted on a message board where I could intelligently talk about the Raptors with other fans. It just isn't the same talking about your favourite team with fans of other teams, ya know? 3. Don't really have one to be honest. I don't think that I have really been a member here long enough to have a "favourite". If I had to pick one, it would probably be Poe, Real Deal or one of the Raptor fans on here (Basx, travesy and Doc). 4. There isn't a member on here that I don't like. Kingfish can get on my nerves with his constant Laker praising and Cavs/LeBron hating, but I still enjoy reading his posts when he isn't being bias, lol. I know that it is a cop out, but I really don't have a least favourite member on here. 5. This year as in the 09 draft? Blake Griffin at the time of the draft. He was the clear cut number one pick at the time of the draft and he definitely was going number one regardless of who had the pick. Knowing what we know now though, Tyreke Evans without a doubt. He would be the perfect compliment for Bosh. I am a sucker for good big man/guard duos. I am very happy with DeRozan though. 6. I'll take option D: All of the Above. 1. He blows. Big time. I feel sorry for you, and coming from a Raptors fan, that is sad. 2. 2049, book it. 3. The signing itself isn't a huge mistake as in terms of the player, but the length and money given (particularly at the end of the deal) is definitely going to come back and bite the Raptors in the [expletive] down the road. I'm fine with it for the first couple of years but those 4th and 5th years (maybe the 3rd) are going to be killer. 4. In my opinion, without a doubt. I've made a couple of posts about it in the Raptors forum. You should go check it out *end shameless plug* 5. Not really. I just don't think that the two of them would be able to co-exist, and I'm not sure if one of them would be happy with being considered Robin to the others Batman. I wouldn't mind seeing it, but I don't think that it will happen. I can definitely see Chris Bosh joining Wade in Miami this season though. I think that has a very good chance of happening (better chance than Bosh resigning in Toronto if you ask me). That is where I expect Bosh to end up. 1. Definitely trade Bosh for the player of my choice. You can get by in the NBA with sub-par coaching, but you cannot get by with sub-par talent. This is a talent driven league and if you don't have the talent you are going to struggle, regardless of how great of a coach you have. A superstar player is 10 times more valuable than a superstar coach as far as I am concerned. 2. Either a Toronto vs. OKC or Toronto vs. Cleveland game. OKC because they are my second favourite team and have players like Durant and Harden who I have always enjoyed watching. It would be a fun game. As for Cleveland, I think that Toronto matches up fairly well with them and I would get to see LeBron James live. The Toronto vs. Cleveland game at the beginning of the year was my favourite Raptor game all season so far. The Lakers are another team that I would want to see just because of Kobe Bryant but that game would be a blowout by half time which would take some of the excitement out of the game. Sorry for choosing more than one, lol. 3. By far the 2000-01 team that featured Vince Carter, Jerome Williams, Alvin Williams, Antonio Davis, Charles Oakley etc... To this day that playoff series against the Sixers where Carter and Iverson both put up 50 points and had just an amazing battle. It was a heartbraking loss but that was definitely my favourite Raptors team ever (its not even close really) and my favourite playoff series ever. 4. Hockey games, particularly the Leafs, and Canucks to a lesser extent. 5. I don't really have one. I go in stages. If I had to pick one, it would either be Foo Fighters or Red Hot Chilli Peppers. 6. Jerome Williams, with Alvin Williams a close second. These two players have more heart and passion in their little toe than the entire current Raptors team. JYD is probably my favourite Raptot ever, along with Carter, and Alvin Williams left it all on the floor every time he played. 1. Nope, Pontiac, like said above. 2. Intelligent Raptors discussion, and intelligent discussion all together. 3. Refer to above, short answer, probably Poe, Real Deal or one of the Raptor fans. 4. Honestly, I think that they lose Bosh (most likely through a sign and trade so that he can get the most money possible) and the Raptors are stuck in the worst possible position to be in in professional sports, at least in my opinion. They are too good to get a top 5 pick, but not good enough to make the playoffs. 5. They are the favourites in my opinion. If my life depended on picking one team it would be the Lakers. The only thing that would have me a little concerned is facing a team that has great length inside. I still think that they could beat a team like the Celtics or Cavs in a series but I don't think it would be a cakewalk like I have seen some posters say. 6. Happy Gilmore 7. I don't think so. I think he will go down as a top 3 player and be mentioned with Michael Jordan and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (Jordan is obviously the GOAT, but I wouldn't have a problem with somebody thinking Kareem is) but won't be considered the GOAT by the majority. 1. Antonio Rogerio Nogueria without a doubt. Everybody knows about Antonio Rodrigo Nogueria, but I honestly think that Lil Nog might be the better fighter than his twin bother. Big Nog can take a punch better and has the more legendary career, but Lil Nog is the better boxer and both of them have some of the sickest jitz in MMA. He is a future Light Heavyweight Champion if you ask me. I really want to see a rematch with Shogun as their first fight just may be the greatest MMA fight ever. 2. Jake Shields. If you read through Sherdog and other MMA message boards you would read about how the UFC needs to bring in Shields because he is the only fighter that has a shot at beating GSP at 170. Its laughable really. The guy is the definition of Lay N Pray and would get absolutely murked by GSP if they were to fight. He couldn't even finish Jason "Mayham" Miller at a StrikeForce card earlier this year and was saved by the bell or else he would've been finished and GSP completely dominated Miller (although he didn't finish him either). He isn't a bad fighter or anything, but he wouldn't even get by Josh Koscheck, Thiago Alves or Jon Fitch, let alone beat GSP. 3. Of course. That Arajuo pick is one of the worst decisions ever made by Raptors management. Carter wanted Iguodala and he was the obvious selection. Could you imagine a core of Carter/Bosh/Iguodala? 4. I don't really follow football at all (I watch casually but only really sit down and watch the Super Bowl) but I guess I would go with Peyton Manning and Larry Fitzgerald offensively and Troy Polamalu and Ed Reed defensively. Like I said, I don't really follow football so these probably aren't the best picks, haha (do Reed and Polamalu both play the same position? I know they are both safties). 5. I'm not even that big of a Bosh fan as it is to be honest. I know that I may come off as a big Bosh fan just because I always seem to defend him on here, but he has never been one of my favourite Raptors. During his time here I have liked TJ Ford, Anthony Parker and Rasho Nesterovic all more than Bosh, and now DeRozan as well. So to answer the question, I would like to see him do well but not at the same level as somebody like Steve Nash. 6. I'd probably go with Ed Stefanski. I've never liked Eddie Jordan as a coach, but it goes back to what I talked about earlier in regards to talent and coaching. You need talent, and more importantly, talent that fits well together and it is the GM's job to get that talent. I don't think that Stefanski has done a good job of this. Both Jordan and Stefanski have been terrible though, in my opinion. 7. I don't know. I don't really play much ball anymore so it would have to be somebody that wouldn't wipe the floor with me, haha. 8. I'd go with Poe. I have read some of his posts about the Heat in the Heat forum and I think that he would be a good writer for the Heat. Honesly though, a lot of posters on this forum could be good writers if they put their minds to it. 9. Pancakes I'm not very persuasive and honestly, I wouldn't even know how to start convincing Bosh to stay. Its not like a plea of "you can lead a core of Jose Calderon, Andrea Bargnani and Hedo Turkoglu for the next 5 years" would be very appealing. I'd just go with the money route and try to play a loyalty card or something, lol. Lame answer I know, but I wouldn't even know how to start, and the fact that I am a little tired doesn't help either, lol. 1. Watch a Raptors game and a Leafs game live. There is probably something else, but at 17 years old I haven't really thought of this lol. 2. Jelly Belly 3. It is just something that I enjoy to pass the time. Whenever I am bored and have nothing to do I can sit down and write a long post or an article or something and it helps pass the time. 4. Raptors, obviously, lol. 5. When I first signed up on NBA Dimensions I wanted to have a name Raptor related and at the time TJ Ford was my favourite Raptor player so I wanted to have something to do with TJ Ford. Whenever Ford would drive to the hoop and get hit or something, Chuck Swirsky would say that he was "Built Ford Tough" so I decided to go with that. I actually hate the name but I am uncreative at coming up with names and what not so I have just stuck with it out of laziness/uncreativeness. 6. http://dealerrevs.com/pictures/11784322.jpg That is the exact same car that I drive. An 05 Pontiac Grand Am GT. 7. Right now I work at a welding shop doing clean up and assisting the welders and basically whatever my boss tells me to do. I don't plan on doing welding or anything in the future though. 8. Honestly, I have never even though about writing for a profession before. I don't even know what I would consider my dream job to be. I plan on going to school to become an Accountant after I graduate this year. I wouldn't call it my dream job or anything (because I don't really know what it is lol). 9. Good, dedicated ownership and good discussion. 10. Sure, why not. I'd go with the Colts to be honest though. 1. I think that he is going to be a force at 205. He is an elite athlete, has awesome wrestling which is the best base for MMA if you ask me, has a freakish reach and is only getting better at 22 years old. Him and Gegard Mousassi are the future of the Light Heavyweight Division if you ask me. 2. Not at all. I'd kill to have Marc Gasol on the Raptors as I love the way he plays and I am, and always have been, very high on Ricky Rubio. I liked Juan Carlos Navarro when he played for the Grizzlies and also like Rudy Fernandez. Honestly, the only Spanish player that I dislike in the NBA is probably Jose Calderon. I like Pau Gasol as a player as well, but I don't like the hype that he is getting. 3. Even though he isn't the best player on the Grizzlies, I think that Marc Gasol would be the best fit on the Raptors. He would be the interior defender and physical presence that the Raptors need desperately. He would compliment Bosh amazingly well and I would be in heaven if the Raptors managed to trade Bargnani for him or something. Rudy Gay and OJ Mayo are two other players that I would like to have on the Raptors, but with Turkoglu locked up long term and DeRozan developing at the 2, Gasol is the best fit. 4. I would consider Brock Lesnar to be the favourite and if I had to bet on one of them it would be Lesnar, but I wouldn't count Carwin out as he has great wrestling and dynamite in his hands. If he could nulify Brock's wrestling and keep the fight standing he would put himself in a great position to win. Whenever Carwin fights, all it takes is one punch to end the fight, no matter who he is fighting. 5. I'd be down. I haven't wrote anything in a while so it would be nice to get something put together.
  22. I was just shocked to see the Raptors there. The Raptors are the type of team that Erick would hate, I would imagine. From reading his posts he definitely seems to like (at least the conclusion I have jumped to, haha) the tough, hard nosed, physical, grind it out, defensive type of teams, if you know what I mean, and the Raptors fit, well, none of those criteria, haha. No biggie or anything, it just caught me off guard seeing the Raptors beside his name, lol.
  23. Pau Gasol will slip on a banana peel and break his leg. Seriously though, I don't see how anybody can dispute the fact that this was intentional. Now it is hardly anything to stress about as far as I am concerned, but it was definitely intentional if you ask me. Kobe knew what he was doing.
  24. Thanks Poe. I really appreciate it. I have read reviews online and all of that, but I always like to get normal (for lack of a better word, lol) peoples opinions on the games as I tend to agree with them more. So you would say that it is worth the upgrade from to 2K9 and the money then, I imagine, right? PS: Don't worry about the length. I am the last person that would complain about the length of a post considering how long most of mine are, haha.
