They don't get by Ohio without Bullock as he came up huge in that game, especially late by hitting a game tying 3 and switching over to DJ Cooper, so I can see why he was out there. Sure, he made some huge mistakes today, but having Hairston out there doesn't make a difference. Full credit to Kansas. They played much, much better defense in the 2nd half and that was the difference in this game.

Can't really blame him. He has no real business being on the floor. He was a lightly recruited 3* recruit coming out of high school and he was never expected to actually play this year. He only joined the team because of his love of the game and he wanted to be on the team for one year before leaving for 2 years to go on some mormon retreat or something like that. He has done basically everything you could've asked of him, but this is calibre is simply out of his league.

White is rattled. Gotta feel for the kid being thrown to the wolves in this crazy atmosphere.

Game over. That sequence proves that there is simply no way that UNC is going to win this game.

Two costly mistakes by Bullock (turnover and completely losing Johnson behind the arc), who has been brilliant in the tournament, and Kansas takes advantage of it.

I do have to admit that seeing that replay, Barnes probably got away with a charge. I don't feel sorry for Kansas, though, since there were two very questionable block/charge calls that went their way earlier in the game.

Ok enough is enough. How many steps are you going to let Robinson take? The dude has traveled basically everytime he has touched the ball. That last play he switched his pivot foot twice.

Kansas is going to win this. UNC is doing all it can to just withstand these Kansas runs and quiet what is basically an entire arena full of Kansas fans. They've never really shown anything in this game that suggests to me they can actually win this game. They are fighting to just stay alive. Hope I'm wrong. By the way, nice dime from White. Hell of a pass to McAdoo for the And-1.

Why are so many people trying to paint Kansas as some huge underdog? Sager, the half time panel and Albert have all alluded to it so far. It is kind of ridiculous. Anyways, nice hook from Henson.

I hate Henson's offensive game. Why does such a terrible shooter insist on taking so many turnaround jumpers in the post? He really does play like an idiot at times. Crucial stretch for UNC here. They can't afford to let Kansas go on any sort of run here considering the home crowd advantage they have in this game. EDIT: Nice response from UNC. That is also exactly what Henson should be doing in the post. Sealing his man and going towards the basket, not fading away from it.

So they played each other to basically a standstill and the game is tied. Barnes with 8 points and 3 assists on 4-6 shooting and Taylor with 11 points and 3 assists on 5-9 shooting. I still stand by this statement. Whoever has the better 2nd half between these two will see his team win the game. Sad, isn't it? Neither one of us have the confidence in our respective teams key players.

What is it with Zeller and tipping balls into his own basket?

Its funny, 3 weeks ago I'd go nuts over the Barnes dunk over Withey and then the oop. Now? I'm just waiting for him to disappear again. The sad thing is, he is my favourite player in college basketball and I still anticipate this, haha.

Kansas is going to pull away any minute now. After the initial surge, UNC has gone to shit now. Nothing but contested jumpers and they aren't falling.

McAdoo off to a fantastic start. 8 points and 2 steals for him already. However, the big concern is Henson. If that ankle keeps him out of the game or limits his mobility, UNC is screwed. It is hard enough without Marshall, but no Marshall and a limited Henson? Good luck.

I really hope that an NBA team takes a shot at Quincy Acy with a 2nd round pick. This Baylor team is going to miss him next year, even with a stud freshman like Isiah Austin coming in to replace him.

Don't get me wrong, Kentucky fully deserves the big lead they have because they have definitely been the better team. But the level of physicallity that Baylor is allowed to play with is nothing compared to what Kentucky is allowed to play with on the other end.

That is the first time Heslip has not had a defender all over him and he drains it like nothing. PJ3 made that play with his hustle. Nice block by Acy on the other end. Baylor finally starting to wake up, but it is too little too late.

This is why PJ3 is so infuriating. Why can't he play like he has over the last 6 minutes or so on a consistent basis?

In news that shouldn't surprise anybody, Roy Williams announced that Kendall Marshall will not play against Kansas.

Could you imagine if Perry Jones played with the same kind of heart and intensity as Quincy Acy? Dude would probably be the best prospect since LeBron James. And yeah, Davis is clearly not at 100%. I can understand putting him to see if he can run it off or something (although, personally, I wouldn't) but it is clear that he should just take the rest of the game off. Baylor has no shot in hell at coming back anyways. The only chance they have is if Heslip gets hot from three, but he can't even get open against Kentucky's defense and his only shot attempt was a forced 3.

It doesn't look like anything serious. He is walking around. And he is checking back in. The best part about that whole thing? Nobody gave a damn that PJ3 got banged up on that play and had to leave the game as well.
