So what can you get for a package of Brooks, Humphries and NJ's pick? Do they even deal Brooks? That is what I imagine Jersey is dangling out there, since they are most likely going to want to keep Lopez around now. Do they make a play for Josh Smith? Atlanta is said to be unlikely to trade him before the deadline and would rather make a move in the summer. I can't realaly think of any other All-Star/borderline All-Star out there that is available. Do they throw in the towel and deal Williams to avoid having him walk for nothing? Stein doesn't think so:

Kind of strange move for Philly picking up another guard/forward. With Turner, Holiday, Williams, Meeks, Holiday and even Young (although he mainly plays the 4) already on the roster and rotating between the 1/2/3, I would've expected them to target a depth big, not more depth on the wings.

DeRozan and Bargnani were excellent tonight. 9-28 for 22 points Great tank commanding from the two of them. Green looked a lot better than he used to. I've seen a bit of him here and there since his D-League call up but this was the first full game I've seen of him. He has improved basically across the board, but what is most noticeable is his feel for the game. Back in his T'Wolves/Celtics days he had such a terrible feel for the game and looked completely lost. I remember reading something about how he couldn't even understand the plays that were being run in the offense, but that doesn't seem to be a problem for him now. His time out of the NBA seems to have really done wonders for his game.

That was a nice behind the back pass from Brooks a couple minutes ago to find Shelden Williams under the basket. He has had 2 nice passes already, although he made a poor decision on that last possession after getting caught in the air.

I blame Twitter for this. Everybody is in a mad rush to be the first person to "break" a story and will Tweet the first thing they hear without making sure that it is accurate. How often did we hear stuff like this whole Howard opting in/not opting in situation before the invention of Twitter? It makes information a lot more accessible, but it also results in a lot more incorrect reports than before.
