I would love to have him on our team. Right now pitching is what's keeping us from being a playoff-contending team. I'd trade Prince for Oswalt since Prince is just going to leave after next season anyway. Might as well get something for him that could help us win a few games.

Wizards set on Wall - Buying out Arenas
Jenneral replied to Jenneral's topic in Washington Wizards Team Forum
If they do indeed go this route and take Wall, it would definitely be wise to keep him away from Arenas. Even though Arenas is a great player you don't need the circus to travel onto Wall. It would be a new era for the Wizards. What do you think the Wizards could get in exchange for Arenas via trade? -

I would love to see the Celtics beat the Lakers in the finals. This may be the last time the Celtics have a true shot at winning it all with this group of players.

This is one of the reasons I love baseball. You never know when something like this may happen.

Games pretty sick... online is kind of confusing though.

This. Bulaga should be able to protect Rodgers a bit as well. I honestly think the Packers win the SB at least once in the next three years. We have all the pieces and are a fairly young team. After this year I expect Rodgers to be considered an elite QB in the league. I just hope our defense stays healthy as that will be what makes or breaks us in the coming years.

Eric Byrnes first hit home run Dutch Goose softball team Menlo Park
Jenneral replied to bigdog17k's topic in Baseball Forum
Why/how did he fall off the face of the earth so fast? Something has to cause a 10+ mil baseball player to go to a softball player with no professional job in sight. -
Yeah, I thought the same thing. He had two defenders on him at the time while Vince was open for the shot. I understand wanting to be the "hero" and such especially after his nice put-back a few possessions earlier... but come on.

Value of Cavs in Bron's Hands
Jenneral replied to Jenneral's topic in Cleveland Cavaliers Team Forum
There's a difference between what someone says and what the team actually does though. I wouldn't get your hopes up on getting Ray and Bron. To be honest... I wouldn't expect either. -
Someone not happy with Pau in LA?

Won't happen. Gasol is a large part of why they've been so successful the last few years. -
Why Chris Bosh Will Stay In Toronto
Jenneral replied to Built Ford Tough's topic in Toronto Raptors Team Forum
See, I see him darting because of the fact that he wants to be in the states with all the media in the NBA. He's not getting his maximum attention or endorsements by being up in Canada away from everything in the league. No way he stays. Out of all the players in this upcoming free agent pool, he's the most likely to leave his current team. -
RealGM Ouch. That's a pretty big hit to a team/city when one player leaves.

I wouldn't be surprised to see this series go to 7. In the end though see the Magic advancing... but it won't be a walk in the park.

Why LeBron will stay in Cleveland
Jenneral replied to Cleveland's Finest's topic in Cleveland Cavaliers Team Forum
And KG has said many times that he now wishes he would have left sooner. -
if you were LeBron, what would you do?
Jenneral replied to The Truth's topic in General NBA Discussion
On second thought, maybe he'll do that Portland scenario but only with the Bucks. Once Redd and Gadz are off the books in a year we can throw all the money in the world his way. :glasses: -

Jenneral replied to The Truth's topic in General NBA Discussion
Ive never heard that Portland scenario before. I actually think it would be smart from a winning standpoint. Everyone just assumes he's going to go for a max contract this year. But maybe (very doubtful) he will try something like this. They're already an extremely talented team on the verge of going deep into the playoffs, add LeBron to the picture and I think Portland would be the hands down favorite to win the whole thing. -
I think two... one with whatever team he signs with next and another in one of his last years in the league when he's semi-washed up and is just joining a team one year at a time for a ring (similar to what Shaq's doing).

Same. The day he was drafted I thought he was a huge headcase. But after hearing his interviews and such, he's really an intelligent young man (regardless of his writing skills ). All he really wants to do is win and he's not afraid to voice his opinion. Not surprised that he'd voice it here as well.
