I feel like we're bound to lose a game like this eventually. We're favored by almost 10 points. Hopefully we can win this one and at first site it doesn't seem like it should be a problem. It's just after nice win streaks and beating tough opponents, these are the games that scare me.

Are there any salaries/contracts in My Player mode? I know there aren't in my NBA one.

My interview with East Coast Conference Commish (DII)

Nice interview! Thanks for sharing! -
I'd be happy to join one. I offered to continue Viral's last year but he didn't seem interested in anyone else finishing what he started. Oh well.

I think Cleveland should win this one fairly easily. Boston hasn't been the team they started out as. However, they are still a very experienced team that is capable of flipping the switch at any time, especially come playoffs. They're still a team worth worrying about.

Durant sets franchise record for 30-pointers
Jenneral replied to ChosenOne's topic in Oklahoma City Thunder Team Forum
Congrats to Durant. He's going to be one of the great shooters for quite sometime. I just hope he can put on some muscle in the offseason. -
Possibly buying this game tomorrow. Any last positive / negative things about the game? How about the My Player mode?

This was a great win for the Bucks. Arguably the best of the year. It was nice to see Jennings and Ilyasova hit 4 straight free throws to officially seal the deal after Boozer got thrown out. Bogut recorded yet another double-double on a pretty poor offensive night for him. 12 rebounds, 16 points on 5 of 15 shooting, and 4 blocked shots. Jennings is playing like he did in his first month in the league. 23 points to go along with 6 assists. Salmons played great as well. He was our leading scorer with 24 points and he was also solid defensively as he gathered in 2 steals. Much of this can be credited to Jennings and Salmons. Both of them played great defense all night. I really can't believe that Jennings outplayed Deron Williams but he sure did. Jennings had more than double Williams' points as he forced him to shoot a discouraging 3 for 12 from the field. He also forced him into 3 turnovers. It was a great win for the Bucks. The start of the fourth quarter was rough and Utah took the lead after being down 12, but we were able to regain control and close out the win. With this I think the Bucks have proven that they are a legit team that is capable of beating some of the top teams on any given night. The last three wins are all solid: Cavs, Celtics, and now the Jazz.

Bucks now have their biggest lead of the night at 12 after a nice 3 from Salmons. :glasses:
-
Great D in the first half giving up only 40 points although the Jazz shot over 47%. Jennings and Bogut are leading the team with Salmons adding a little spice. Up 8 at the half, hopefully we can maintain this lead the rest of the way!

Hopefully Miami can squeak this one out. We need Chicago to keep losing to get that #11 pick. :glasses:

Nice. I plan on reaching 100,000 on OTR 2.0. :glasses:

You serious?

3-6 so far in Spring Training. I know Spring Training isn't too serious or anything, but is this a cause for concern? Going into the season we knew it would be a tough fight against our neighbor's to the South, but with the signing of Randy Wolf I thought we could maybe close the gab by a few games. I guess we'll just have to wait about a month to see the real thing. I just hope we'll be an above .500 club this year.

Once the playoffs are done and the season is behind us, I think it would be smart to add a sim league to keep activity at a respectable level.

Just found $50 that I must have misplaced at some point in the last few months.

Either way, this is still considered a "top team". We need wins like this to justify our position in the playoffs. If we can only beat the teams we're supposed to, then what's the point? We could have beaten the Cavs, Lakers, and Hawks earlier this season but came up just a bit short. Hopefully that's not the case tonight.

This is going to be a huge game. Definitely looking forward to it!

WOW!!! Lebron Suspended for STEROID USE!!!! Sucks for Cleveland!

Why is this in the Cavs forum? -_- -
Yeah, it definitely took awhile. A season or two longer than most Bucks fans would have liked. But like you said, at least he got to where any thought he could be. Looking back, I don't think I would have taken anyone in that draft. Possibly Deron Williams or Chris Paul but coming across the talent in a 7 footer that Bogut possesses is tough. A lot tougher than an all-star caliber guard.

I think the Blazers come out and take total control right from the start. They win by 10+. :glasses:

Salmons IN and Redd OUT. One can only hope they keep it like that next season. Salmons has a player option - hopefully he accepts it. If he does, we can do what the Rockets did with T-Mac this year and just let him stay at home, as far away from the team as possible. Bogut has even hinted at the team being better off without Redd. Maybe then we can make a deadline deal to get some additional picks for him. Either way... Bogut is playing like the first overall pick he was supposed to be. And even though Jennings' shooting has been poor (picking up lately) he's a huge reason to our success. I could care less about ROY and I hope he feels the same way as long as we make the playoffs. He's going to be a great player in the league, he just needs more time to fine tune certain aspects of his game. Also, am I the only one that finds it kind of funny that a 5th seed in the East probably wouldn't even make the playoffs in the West?
