  1. Tucker was a beast in college. I hope he sees an extended role now with his new team.
  2. Bucks are up 8 at the half. Bogut has 13 points, Jennings has 7, Ridnour has 6. Howard got into early foul trouble and therefore only played 9 minutes in the first half. That's huge. We need to keep him off the floor if we plan on maintaining this lead.

Really? Never knew that. That's odd.
  4. RealGM Glad to see this change made. If we're not winning with Delfino (who is worse than a Moute) then why not try him out. Mbah a Moute is the best defender on the Bucks and plays his heart out regardless of the situation. I'm really curious to see how he does against one of the top teams in the league.
  5. This definitely won't be easy... hopefully we all make it out alive.

  7. I don't even know where to begin with this one... Our #1 pick a few years back, Andrew Bogut, showed the world tonight why he is not worthy of an All-Star game appearance. 2 points and 5 rebounds. What the [expletive] is that? That's just embarrassing if you ask me. Jennings did alright shooting 50% with 24 points. I was really impressed with his 7 assists. Shows that he has the potential to be a great all-around guard. However, he had 5 turnovers in the game. We were outscored 33-14 in the second quarter. That in itself is just asking for a loss. Skiles is terrible, Redd is terrible, Delfino is terrible, Bogut is so inconsistent it's almost laughable, and Ridnour is a beast off the bench (17 points). /rant
  8. I really liked Yi when he was with the Bucks. I actually lost a monetary bet with someone as I thought he'd average 10.0 ppg his rookie season. He ended up with 8.6.
  9. The Lakers (without Kobe) are a much better team than the Cavs (without LeBron) yet both teams now have similar records. With that said, I think LeBron has a larger effect on his team than Kobe does. Without LeBron, the Cavs would struggle to make the playoffs. The same could not be said for the Lakers as they have a pretty solid foundation without their star player.
  10. I don't really think it's tied. Sure, Kobe averages slightly more ppg than LeBron but LeBron also has a pretty big advantage in the rebounds and assists areas.
  11. I'm definitely not running something with a $5,000 prize. Sorry.
  12. As of yesterday, the top 5 in the still-early MVP race look like this. 1. LeBron James, Cleveland Cavaliers (23-8) 28.7 ppg, 7.0 rpg, 7.9 apg, 1.3 spg, .499 FG% 2. Kobe Bryant, Los Angeles Lakers (24-5) 29.8 ppg, 5.8 rpg, 4.3 apg, 2.2 spg, .483 FG% 3. Dwight Howard, Orlando Magic (22-8) 17.4 ppg, 13.4 rpg, 1.5 apg, 2.5 bpg, .621 FG% 4. Brandon Roy, Portland Trail Blazers (20-12) 22.8 ppg, 4.7 rpg, 5.1 apg, 0.9 spg, .460 FG% 5. Dwyane Wade, Miami Heat (15-12) 26.9 ppg, 5.2 rpg, 6.1 apg, 1.6 spg, .435 FG% Close behind are Carmelo Anthony and Dirk Nowitzki. Rounding out the top 10 are Steve Nash, rookie Tyreke Evans, and Kevin Durant. This looks like it'll be an interesting race all the way to the end.
  13. He definitely didn't flop. He flew right off of Kobe immediately upon contact. When you're looking the other direction not expecting some idiot to come charging at you, of course you're going to go flying to the ground. Trust me, I've seen plenty of flops watching Bogut through the years, Mo 100% did not flop. That's just stupid to even think that, even if Kobe wasn't running full speed like you said... Mo WASN'T moving, period. He wasn't able to go back into Kobe a bit to counteract the hit, no, he was thrown to the floor without knowing what the hell just happened.
  14. I'm not a Kobe fan at all. Actually, he's probably one of my least favorite players in the league. However, with that said I think even at this point he's the greatest Laker in franchise history. He'll definitely finish with the most rings and he's already proven himself as one of the best players in the league year in and year out. Kobe gets my vote.
  15. Thanks, that's all I really wanted to hear.
  16. Completely agree. Some potential new members may not even bother signing up as they'll think this site has been "dead" since late November.
  17. RealGM I'm glad to see that Skiles is at least giving him the opportunity to get more time and put up some numbers. Meeks had 15 points in his last game coming off the bench and shot 5-8 from the field. He seems to be pretty smart and doesn't shoot the ball when he's not open for a good look. As of now he's averaging 13 minutes per game but it looks like that number could be going up as soon as tonight. Also, I'm a little curious about Skiles later comment about switching up the starting lineup. While most people would assume that means sticking Meeks in the starting role I think it may be Ridnour getting the start over Jennings in this one. Jennings just hasn't been shooting the ball well and he needs to feel like the underdog again. I think giving Ridnour the start for a few games until Jennings gets his stuff together could be a good thing. He'll have to earn his spot again, just like he did earlier in the season.
  18. I'm going to miss probably the first quarter of this game. We really need to win games like these, so hopefully we can find a way to get it done. As of now the Bobcats are considered the "favorite" so hopefully that turns quickly or the Bucks win the upset. Go Bucks!
  19. Wow... definitely did not expect this ending. I thought for sure the Celtics would win this one.
