Will Melo sustain his MVP-caliber play?
Jenneral replied to Force's topic in Denver Nuggets Team Forum
I really don't think he will. He'll get frustrated when his team goes on a small skid and that will be it. I see him finishing around 25 ppg and 5 rpg. -
Who will be the Bucks leading scorer?
Jenneral replied to Jenneral's topic in Milwaukee Bucks Team Forum
I think we have a shot at the playoffs. Also, I think Alexander may still be injured as I know he was for the first two games. He'll get his minutes, just give him time to recover. -
My birthday's tomorrow.

For marketing purposes.

You can't really say Iverson was the better player as we're only 4 games into Brandon's rookie season. In time Brandon could emerge as the better player if he holds onto the starting job. Only time will tell really.

Watching the game the other night the announcers made an interesting comment. Brandon Jennings isn't AI nor is he anyone else in the league. Sure, he may have tuned his game to the likes of AI's earlier in his career but they are still completely different players. Brandon Jennings is Brandon Jennings, no one else.

In all honesty, I think the main thing the Knicks are doing wrong isn't even related to the current team at all. It's the constant thought and wishful thinking that a big name player like LeBron will play for them in a year. They have no real intentions of winning now. The players are catching the vibe and don't seem to care either way. They know they won't be resigned as the front office seems to think superstars will want to come there next season. Here's my suggestion... stop worry about LeBron, Wade, everyone else and worry about what you have right now. There's still a ways to go this season and I'm already getting sick of all the "LeBron to NY" talk. It may happen but there's also a good chance it doesn't, so this team really needs to stop banking on it. Play for the present, not the future.

That's a pretty good theory.

The only things Jennings really needs to work on is shot selection and turnovers. He's already given the ball up 5 times tonight and is 6-11 from the field, which isn't bad but I think it could be a bit better. I liked the way he found his teammates in his first game when he racked up 9 assists, I'd almost rather see him go back to that than shooting more. He's a great passer so I think he could easily get 5 or 6 assists each night.

Are you still planning on making me that Brandon Jennings sig?
-
Nets are only down 5 halfway through the 4th. This would be huge if they could steal a win here.
-
It would be nice if Charlotte could hold on and win this one. They're up by 8 but there's still plenty of time left.

Bucks scored 40 points in the FIRST quarter! Our 2nd round pick, Meeks, has been impressive tonight with 12 points in only seven minutes. Bogut is two rebounds away from a double-double in the first half. Warrick, Delfino, and Jennings are also contributing nicely. It looks like we'll be able to coast to a victory as we're now up 66-35 at the half.

You guys aren't considered a "good" team either you know? Either way, we're up 18 right now.

Now that the season is underway, who do you think will be the Bucks leading scorer at the end of the season? That is, total points not ppg. I'd love to say Jennings, however he's too young and inexperienced so I think I'm going to have to go with Redd. They give him all the touches he needs. Even with this early injury I think he will easily be our leading scorer if he can stay healthy the rest of the way (and that's a big if). Jennings might be a close second or third (depending on how Bogut turns his start around) as long as he stays in the starting roll. So OTR, who do you think will lead the Bucks in scoring this year?

Let's make it two straight!

He drives himself to the hoop and that's all that really matters.

Just preordered mine tonight. Getting it Monday nigh/Tuesday morning at midnight.

Good win for the Bucks.
-
I think we should win this one. Should be a good game between two not so good teams.

so pumped!

Why is this in here?
