Yeah as long as you research the games beforehand and don't bet on everything you can be fine. Find a game or two that you feel confident in. Also, I've found that betting on a home team (or a favorite team) is not a good idea. You'll be biased in either direction.

Yes. And Braun has damn good lawyers who knew the circumstances on how tough it is to win one of these hearings. They were able to find this "loop hole" to win the appeal and avoid the suspension. Some fans will still view him as guilty as he got off on a "technicality", but the reality is that he is innocent regardless. Both him and his lawyers were simply smart enough to realize they couldn't win this any other way.

He disputed the original drug test results by taking another test... AND passing it. Also, once Braun found out that his sample wasn't handled in the proper way and that it could have easily been tampered with, he offered the MLB a DNA test. The DNA test would be evidence one way or the other that couldn't be argued. MLB turned that down. They know they [expletive]ed up and that Braun is innocent. Him providing DNA would just make them look worse than they already do.
