This. Don't go to a school with rules like this.

He's been great lately. His slow start was understandable and now he's showing that he's got what everything thought he had. I hope the Bucks can somehow land him...

Glad we got out of the 10M guaranteed and were also able to agree on something long-term. Hawk and Mathews will be a centerpiece of our D for years to come.

Well no matter what, you're always going to weigh less right when you wake up.

Making the playoffs as 8th seed vs lottery
Jenneral replied to AboveLegit's topic in General NBA Discussion
The odds of a meddling 8th seed team upsetting a team like the Heat, Bulls, Spurs, Lakers, etc is highly unlikely. By attaining the 8th seed year after year you could actually be damaging your franchises future. Sometimes it's better to realize that while your team may may the playoffs, they certainly won't have a shot at winning a championship. In my opinion, it's then better off to try gathering new talent that could potentially put you over that hump. -

Making the playoffs as 8th seed vs lottery

This is the exact situation the Bucks are in right now. Unfortunately, management thinks grabbing the 8th seed and getting swept is still an accomplishment. -_- I would rather be a lottery team if you're not going to be a 6th seed or better. I'm probably in the minority but getting swept in the first round and not getting a good enough draft pick to really improve your team doesn't make a whole lot of sense. I'd rather be a lottery team that would at least give my team a chance at a top 3 pick and a chance to land a future star. A team like Milwaukee needs to build through the draft and trades. Superstars won't willingly come here. That's why it's so crucial that we have good drafts and you can't do that by always being in the middle of the pack. Once every few years you're going to need a top pick to build around. -
Can't wait for baseball so I can switch my attention from the Bucks to the Brewers.

So scary to think that the cornerstones of this franchise (Bogut & Jennings) combined for only 10 points last night on 4-16 shooting. Also, Jennings getting only two assists in 28 minutes... what the hell ever happened to his off season goal of averaging 10 apg? Sanders is pretty bad too. We're really going to be stuck in the worst position in the NBA for years to come... too bad to make the playoffs, but not bad enough to draft a true star. -_-

The Bucks actually sold a game out. (Yes, I know that 75% of the people there are Bulls fans.)

Welcome to the best!

I hope we lose by 20+. That should show management that this team isn't capable of winning and that going for the 8th seed is a joke. We're screwed for years to come now. Not making a move at the deadline was awful. Them not tanking for a higher pick is even worse.

Wainwright officially out for the year.

The Bucks didn't do shit. -_-

We're the worst offensive team in the league so scoring 100 points and shooting over 40% is a victory in its own right.

These never work here...

Figures we'd get Melo again...
