That's where this "poll" is tainted. Is it all-time, this coming season, or recent years? Hammond won last year after a series of good moves including dealing Jefferson and the mid-season deal for Salmons. Also, don't be so quick to judge his most recent move as we really got a productive player in exchange for two players who never would have seen the court this coming season. Hammond is still in talks with Salmons and thinks they will still be able to reach a deal (we actually have more money now with Maggette on the roster). The following roster could do some serious damage in the East. Jennings/Ridnour Salmons/#15 Maggette/Delfino Ilyasova/Mbah a Moute Bogut/draft pick

No Hammond? Pretty sure he won it last year and is already wheelin' and dealin' this year.

Thunder acquire the 18th pick from Heat

Dang, I thought the Bucks would be getting this pick. Oh well... now let's go for Boston's #19. :glasses: -
We actually saved some money (about $2 M) for the first year. I guess Hammond & Co. decided that even though we would've had a ton of cap space next year that there would be no one worthy of spending it on. This seems to be more likely now that Carmelo is close to signing an extension with the Nuggets.

This is amazing.

What Recent Moves Mean for Milwaukee http://bleacherreport.com/articles/410401-what-recent-moves-mean-for-milwaukee?just_published=1

Yesterday Bucks GM John Hammond was very active as we approach the NBA Draft. First he sent Dan Gadzuric and Charlie Bell to the Golden State Warriors in exchange for swingman Corey Maggette. This trade essentially got rid of two dead-weight players in order to add a strong contributor to a team trying to make the playoffs for consecutive years. Following this move, Hammond was able to muscle out another deal. This time he sent out a future second-round draft pick in exchange for Nets Chris Douglas-Roberts, a former second-round pick. What do these two recent moves mean for the Milwaukee Bucks? It appears as if the Bucks would now take a pass on Paul George, forward, if he were still on the board at 15. By adding two forwards in one night there would be no need to add another one through the draft, regardless of talent. More moves may also be a possibility. By adding two more forwards the Bucks are now overloaded at that position. A deal including Delfino, Mbah a Moute, or Ilyasova may be in the works in an effort to thin out that position. Delfino would appear to be the odd man out if a deal was to be made. Now the move everyone is questioning, whether or not the Bucks will still attempt to resign SG John Salmons. Earlier today Hammond stated that the Bucks will still make a push for the shooting guard that helped them to a postseason appearance. "We would love to have John Salmons back here and I think he knows how badly we want him back and our intention is to do that. Whether we can get that done, who knows? But our hope is to do that." Draft night could prove to be a very interesting one for the Bucks. As it stands now it appears as if more moves may be fast approaching. The Bucks will go into the draft with four draft picks, one first rounder and three second rounders. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/410401-what-recent-moves-mean-for-milwaukee?just_published=1

Warriors Trade Corey Maggette

Do you really want an answer to that? Gadz... looks good in a suit. Bell... was a starter when Redd went down. When Salmons came in he lost almost all playing time and missed a team meeting during the playoffs which landed him in hot water. Combined they won't equal half of Maggette's contribution to a team. Gadz: http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?playerId=1710 Bell: http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?playerId=1034 The one thing I have to say is that Bell is a class act. He's great in the community and does what's necessary for the team. Really great personality. -
UPDATE: Bucks acquire Douglas-Roberts

Every thing I've heard has said future 2nd round pick. I'd be pissed if we gave up a 1st rounder. ^_^ -

No way the Bucks take a pass on Henry. We loved his workout and he loved Milwaukee and Jennings. He'd be a great player to try and replicate what Salmons did for us.

Hammond is on a roll tonight... it's been said that Hammond is now looking to acquire Miami's #18 pick.

Wow, that's a lot earlier than I would have expected him to go. And to think I thought Milwaukee had a chance to steal him on Thursday night.

UPDATE: Bucks acquire Douglas-Roberts

Rumor has it that we just received CDR for our 44th pick (not originally ours). A guy on RealGM put this in a good way... by sending that pick for CDR we probably got way more value out of it than we would have by taking anyone from the draft. He's probably right. -
UPDATE: Bucks acquire Douglas-Roberts

First things first... it is highly unlikely Redd will ever play in a Bucks uniform ever again - or any uniform for that matter. Even if he were to make a miraculous comeback, he is not the answer. He is detrimental to the team and isn't as productive as he has been in year's past. If anything, the Bucks are hoping he comes back to allow them to trade his expiring contract away. As for this most recent trade discussion, I like it as long as long as it's only for second round draft picks. He was a fairly efficient scorer last season (44.5%) in his somewhat limited minutes for the Nets. This trade would really overflow the Bucks with forwards. Off the top of my head I think we would have CDR, Maggette, Mbah a Moute, Ilyasova, Delfino, Darnell Jackson and Jerry Stackhouse (FA). -
Salmons to Officially Opt Out http://bleacherreport.com/articles/410045-salmons-to-officially-opt-out?just_published=1

Following today's earlier trade that brought Golden State's Corey Maggette to the Bucks in exchange for Dan Gadzuric and Charlie, John Salmons stated that he will officially opt out of his player option worth $5.81 million next year. Now is there a chance that the Bucks and Salmons are still able to agree on a multi-year year in the free agent market this year? Sure, although it doesn't appear to be likely. After arriving in Milwaukee via a trade with the Chicago Bulls, Salmons was nothing short of spectacular. He lead the Bucks to an impressive 20-8 record in his short time here. Salmons averaged just under 20 ppg and over 4 apg while in Milwaukee. What does this mean for Milwaukee? Assuming Salmons doesn't resign with the Bucks we will be losing an efficient scorer who was able to spread the floor. Down the stretch Salmons was as clutch as could be. Not only was he an efficient player but he knew his role well and did what was needed to win. Something that Salmons brings to the table that Maggette will not is that he is multi-dimensional in that he is able to shoot the three as well as cut to the basket at will. If somehow a deal is reached between both parties, the Bucks will have solidified four of their starting five spots. A lineup of Jennings, Salmons, Maggette, Mbah a Moute, Bogut would be nothing to skoff at. That would be a team capable of winning any night. The Bucks front office will stay in contact with Salmons until June 30 when he will officially fill out the necessary paper work. Time will only tell if the most recent trade means the end of Salmons in Milwaukee. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/410045-salmons-to-officially-opt-out?just_published=1

RD (or anyone else I guess): Do you know where I can find Salmons' stats for when he was just in Milwaukee? Not total season averages.
