  1. Cuban is determine to have his team in the top four in the west this year. What does this mean for Josh Howard since he also plays the same spot as Marion? Well I'll be telling Josh to start packing your bags to Toronto.
  2. http://a1135.g.akamai.net/f/1135/18227/1h/cchannel.download.akamai.com/18227/podcast/LOSANGELES-CA/KLAC-AM/070309%20Phil%20Jackson%20RAW.mp3 Some of the Q's asked to Phil on KLAC Did Kobe Bryant have a say in allowing Ron Artest to join the team? “Last year after the devastating loss in game 6 to the Boston Celtics, Ron Artest came in our locker and walked in the shower with Kobe Bryant. Kobe’s there taking a shower - and this is a locker room the coaches have, it’s off limits - so, Ron said, ‘Coach, I can help your team, I can get that championship for the Lakers.’ I said, ‘Well, thanks Ron, that’s very nice, I appreciate your sympathies. We’ll see what happens as you go through this year.’ Then, he walked out of that coaches’ area, and in to the shower and told Kobe the same thing. Kobe’s been knowing Ron’s intentions for the last two years… He didn’t soap down Kobe and he didn’t towel him off, I’m not saying that.” What do you get in Ron Artest? “He’s an unknown. He’s a player that I mean if I think his own teams don’t know exactly what he’s going to do that particular night. What he does do well is defend - he’s a strong defender that can play a variety of roles on defense, as a shutdown guy, he can run big or small, he can go two-guards or power forwards depending upon what their challenge is, and he likes that. I think that’s his calling card for us. He does have an accurate three-point shot and he’s a good post-up player.” Did the Lakers organization have to pick between Ariza and Artest? “I wasn’t given the either/or. They knew we had Ron on our wishlist for what, three years now? And, we needed a defender, somebody that was a lockdown defender besides a Kobe Bryant that would take on the chores, and Trevor turned out to be that guy this year. So, I was quite surprised, as was most of our fans that negotiations did not go well with Trevor and his people. And, we think that we have a player that has probably a little more dimensions than Trevor, but still Trevor has that youth and that speed that we’ll miss.” LINK
  3. Heat fans you heard Wade give him a team to compete with and he promise he will take you to the promise land.
  4. Great move now bring back Odom and we got ourself a dynasty.
  5. According to 710 espn. Trevor is thinking of not keeping his word and sign with the Cavs instead. No link, it was said on the radio, right now. John Ireland just said this, David Lee had no comment. The rumors are that Trevor wants to go to the Cavs. Wow Trevor your gonna pull of a Hedo.

  8. Look's like it ain't the 3 year deal then according to a credible source from David Aldridge, but Artest could change his mind to a 3 year if he want's to for now though they both agree on a 5 year deal.
  9. So any Jazz fan's hoping he retires since Jazz are not a contending team for a championship.
  10. What I mean is in Orlando and in NY he was buried on the bench. Over here in LA is when Phil started giving him minutes in the beginning then eventually a starter which made Trevor Ariza who he is today. Kobe also helped Ariza learn how to shoot the ball well. And Ariza took the same offer from Houston which is the mid level only difference was it was a 5 year contract. So in my mind it was just about the money for Ariza.
  11. Here is a story from ESPN Wonder if it has something to do with that girl he was with.

  16. So Hedo is heading to Toronto but don't rule out a sign & trade with Hedo for Shawn Marion. With Marion heading to Portland. I wonder who would Orlando get in the trade then if it goes down.
  17. Wow where was this guy with Orlando. We gave him a starting spot on a championship team and this is what he says. I'm glad he is gone. Good luck in Houston Ariza.

  19. Wasn't this posted earlier. And this is probably only a fallback option if we can't get LO back. For now I can see only LA brining back LO with Artest.
