  1. For some reason, I don't think Iverson is a good replacement for Billups. I don't know why, I just have a feeling. But then: Diop Chandler Wallace Bell Iverson would be more than solid on defense, and Iverson is a productive point-maker. If they do get Allen, they should experiment with that 5 and Diaw off the bench.
  2. I'm having a hard time determining the theme of this song. That hurts it.
  3. I'm trying to play basketball in college. I've sent stats and video to quite a few schools.
  4. I ran a little over a thousand. Here you go. Ping statistics for 174.120.60.94: Packets: Sent = 1013, Received = 992, Lost = 21 (2% loss), Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds: Minimum = 53ms, Maximum = 311ms, Average = 72ms Very reliable. Any issues are not likely with the server.
  5. That's ridiculous. Getting rid of Steve Nash would be the most brain dead thing we could do. Aside from winning basketball games (go figure), Nash is a major source of team revenue. His specific jerseys and merchandise, as well as the people who buy tickets in large part to see him play. Further, if they're not contenders, the Suns still have a legitimate chance to be a playoff team. I don't suppose it's occurred to anybody that you can't conscript a free agent? You see, if a top player in the 2010 FA pool doesn't want to come here...he won't. Now, how much would Steve Nash affect a free agent's decision to join the purple and orange? The prospect of playing with someone known for his unselfish play and propensity to make his teammates better would be very attractive. The majority of our fans want to ignore this. Lose Shaq, lose Nash, just blow up the team. With no material to trade, and no way to entice free agents, our only hope then is to get lucky in the draft. Suns fans, Steve Kerr would be proud of your masterful tactics.
  6. Richardson, and it's not really a tough decision. Barbosa is one of the most high volume points-per-minute guys in the league, sure. The kicker: Barbosa is an abysmal defender. I remember watching the 2008 playoffs, attacking the Spurs. When Barbosa was in the game, he matched up to the Spurs backup two-guard: Michael Finley. I have nothing but respect for Michael Finley's offense; he ran great with Nash roundabouts 2003. But he systematically took Barbosa apart in that series. It was like Leandro was not even there. Simply because Jason won't be dismantled by every player over 6'4", he has my vote.
  7. I think he's saying that Antawn is out of position because the Wizards are small. In Dallas, he was a small forward. I'll go with David West because he's better defensively. However, in his prime, Jamison was adept at running the floor, and that would give him the edge. West is superior today only because Jamison has regressed.
  8. Drowning. Burning is a close second, but I'd rather catch on fire and die than be desperately swimming until my lungs just give out. Ahh, it hurts to type about it.
  9. Kirk Hinrich gets no respect for his defense. If you ask Dwyane Wade about Hinrich's defensive prowess, you'd probably come away surprised. Battier is top notch, but I have to go for Tayshaun Prince. Yes, he's lacking strength. But he's tall, long, and fast. There are no easy baskets; Prince will make you earn them all. Not to mention, he's the best in the history of the human race at guarding Kobe.
  10. Yeah, the rebounding glitch. Why shouldn't I, though?
  11. Ok, I'm not sure if sliders carry over from the main menu. But, if you enter the Association, then set them from there, they last for the whole Association. Wait until you start that mode before you set your options the way you want. I also suggest turning off auto subs, auto timeouts, and goaltending.
  12. I just posted the top one. Pick any Thinkpad, really. A $1,400 PC from that line is better than any other $1,400 computer.
  13. http://shop.lenovo.com/SEUILibrary/controller/e/web/LenovoPortal/en_US/catalog.workflow:category.details?current-catalog-id=12F0696583E04D86B9B79B0FEC01C087&current-category-id=F10AD59D781A47888400957242FCF7F8 I really love the Lenovo Thinkpad line, and the W700 is as good as they get. The dual screen is something that may or may not come in handy; YMMV. Just stay away from the Tablet. Trust me.
  14. A personal shield generator, like destroyer droids have. I cannot believe I'm the first to mention that.
  15. Do the Raptors look like a good team to you? Winning games would be preferable, but if that can't happen, you may as well look for some way to boost your team's...what's the word...presence. Demar has a better shot at winning the dunk comp than Toronto does at winning games.
  16. Taylor Swift. Everyone else is too soft.
  17. OK, this is a step in the right direction if it goes down. We would need to pull a really sweet deal for Stoudemire, and you're looking at a relatively strong team.
  18. No, he does not. If nothing else, Chris Paul plays the same brand of defense that Rondo does. But he's quicker, which makes his gambles more productive. Strong guards like Chauncey Billups or Deron Williams will always have the advantage defensively.
  19. No. He's a bad defender because he gets stops from time to time.
  20. Ok, I need some help. I have a bad back, so I can't lift heavy things. I got this laptop because it's really light, and still does what I need it to do. But I want to install a lot of games and stuff, so I'm kind of worried. How much does a gigabyte weigh? I don't want my computer to get more than 2 pounds heavier, or else I could hurt my back. So how many gigabytes of data can I install for 2 pounds?
  21. I truly hope he stays. Phoenix has proven to be the home of the best trainers in the league, so I expect Hill to be at least solid until he retires.
  22. Ok, the Suns aren't in the best of shape, but they're hardly shot. 46-36 is far from dismal, and there's a reasonable chance that they make a positive trade involving Amare Stoudemire. It's easily the Rockets. With no Yao, no McGrady, and Artest being a headcase, they have Aaron Brooks, Shane Battier, Luis Scola, and Carl Landry. Of course, just because their stars are too broken to play doesn't mean that they're too broken to get paid. So unless Chuck Hayes and Von Wafer team up to be the next Shaq and Kobe, the Rockets are not winning anytime soon, and they're shut out of making moves to improve. The Suns are unquestionably in a better position than the Rockets. Today and in the near future.
  23. He isn't now? Michael Jordan is the greatest ever, but I can't name 2 people better than Shaq.
