  1. We are playing very well right now, Martell is killing it.
  2. That "Wont Get Fooled Again" cover is amazing. Keith Moon would be proud right now. This kid has some major talent.
  3. Yeah, I find the ESPN Insider thing to be very annoying. I do not like it at all.
  4. YoYou guys will still get to see Griffin play! His first name is Taylor though...
  5. Giving up leads in the 2nd half in which we then either have to fight to keep the lead or fight to regain the lead and end up blowing the game.
  6. Blazers are killing right now, hopefully we keep this up but we've been known to blow leads.
  7. Very nice. This will be a tough game for us as as we wont have ANYONE to stop Dwight at all. Should be interesting.
  8. BUST! Griffin is a bust, no doubt about it in my mind! Sad to see him done before he started. I'm thinking he'll be injury prone for a couple of years.
  9. I don't like fan voting at all. I really don't like it for the Dunk Contest either to decide who wins, that's really dumb in my opinion. I just don't like fan voting at all.
  10. I read a headline on ESPN, "LA Battered with Injuries" and I laughed. Try having both your centers done for the season (Oden, Przybilla) and your bench depleted (Outlaw, Rudy, Batum, Blake, Pendergraph, Cunningham). Now granted, Blake, Pendergraph, and Cunningham have all come back and Rudy is playing tonight but we've got stretches without a lot of our players and have maintained very nicely. Still though, the Lakers do have some big names that have been out but we have one of the best benches in the league and it helps to have that extra help.
  11. I watched this last night and I agreed with pretty much all of his selections. GWall and DLee have been playing fantastic basketball in the East meanwhile, the Caveman and Zbo are having great years, especially Kaman. He's clearly been the best Clipper on that team. Zbo is actually playing like he cares right now and it's paying off for the Grizzlies right now. If I recall, for those that don't want to watch, it was something like... East starters - AI, Wade, LeBron, KG, Dwight Reserves - Rondo, Pierce, GWall, Lee, Johnson, Bosh, Mo Williams West starters - McGrady, Kobe, Melo, Dirk, AMare Reserves - Roy, Nash, Paul, Kaman, Zbo, Duncan, Durant
  12. Gotta feel for the guy. I think he should give it one last shot. Work his butt off getting healthy and if he gets hurt again, then I'd say it'd be time to retire. The guy still has a lot of basketball left in him in my opinion.
  13. I really like this deal for the Kings. I still think there is a tad bit of potential left in Armstrong.
  14. Uh...I'll go with the All-Star over an inconsistent rookie any day. So I'd take Gilbert without any hesitations at all.
  15. I started watching this game on ESPN but after the first half, I couldn't take the woman commentator hanging from LeBron's nuts anymore and went back to the local channel (in which the local channel was about 3-5 seconds AHEAD of ESPN). I wasn't expecting this win until we came back to tie the game at 89. The last time it was tied was when it was 4-4 so it was a good game. We just couldn't hang onto that momentum and I think the turning point was when Roy drove in a bit and tried to kick it to Howard who instead of rolling over after the pick just stood there and Roy threw the ball out of bounds. Then Andy V getting that HUGE turnover on Roy was somewhat shocking. Great defense by Mr. Carlito.

  17. Wow...That was...pretty cool I guess.
  18. He probably would but it was still a nice dunk, especially over someone like Smith who is an insane shot blocker.
  19. We needed at least one win against either the Lakers or Cavs. We got that win on Friday against the Lkaers. If we can come out of this 2-0, that'd be amazing but the Cavs will be an extremely tough game. We need to get Shaq in foul trouble early, Bayless, Roy, and Miller have GOT to attack him early to get him off the court.
  20. It does seem kind of fake, especially with the way it seems like he's pushing random buttons on the controller. But she is definitely cute as hell.
  21. The 5 millionth point was scored on my younger cousin's birthday on the year that I was born.
  22. The thing I love about this is that we've beaten the Lakers 9 times in a row at the Rose Garden now. Brandon Roy - 32 points, 9-11 shooting, 6 rebounds, 6 assists, 13-14 FT Kobe Bryant - 32 points, 14-37 shooting, 8 rebounds, 7 assists, 2-4 FT Kobe took waaay more shots and Roy still had the same amount. The difference was that Roy drove in to get the foul while Kobe kept on trying to find his shot.
  23. Wow, terrible call on Bayless that sent Kobe to the free throw line for a 4 point play. Good thing LA is in the penalty, we MUST take advantage of that.
  24. Try having your bench demolished and both your centers out and win on the road. We beat the Mavs and Nuggets without them on the road.
