  1. This will be a great test for the Blazers now without Joel, Oden, etc. I can't wait for the game.
  2. No Brandon Roy, no Greg Oden, no Joel Przybilla, no Travis Outlaw, and no Rudy Fernandez yet we still got the win tonight. Very happy with the win and what a night for Bayless. He is playing exceptionally well and I'm loving it. 3-1 on this tough tough road trip.
  3. I would honestly HATE to get Anthony Randolph on the team. I don't see in him what others see in him. We are just fine with Howard/Pendergraph. Right now, Howard has been rebounding very well against the Spurs, especially on the offensive end.
  4. Bayless did start and we're off to a decent start tonight, been leading all game.
  5. I think Salmons is a great player, especially for the Bulls.
  6. Roy should be fine because during the after game interview, he said he'd be okay.
  7. Sorry, I just don't see it that way guys. I think we'll manage just fine. We'll still make the playoffs with the current team we have.
  8. I honestly think that Howard and Pendergraph will fill in just fine. Which is why I'm so excited for tonight's game against the Spurs, assuming Duncan will be playing tonight. This will push our team to help make our team stronger as a whole. Howard was able to put up a double double last night off the bench (granted it was 35 mins) with 10 points and 10 boards. He was a fantastic signing for us and I look forward to seeing what he can with even more minutes. If it doesn't work out for us in like 2-3 weeks, then I'd be more open to trade for a big but at this point, I still say it's a big no.
  9. Mike Barrett is one of our team's commentators, posted this on his blog. Read more
  10. One of the reasons as to why I do not like Paul Pierce.
  11. Honestly, I can't wait for this game. Even despite all the injuries, I think we'll pull out this win.
  12. Right now, I'd like to see how some of our guys step up in Joel's absence. Howard and Pendergraph will get more time. I love what Howard has been doing so I'd prefer to hold on a bit.
  13. A bitter sweet victory. It was great ending our losing streak in Dallas dating back to 2003 but we lost yet another player. God f*cking damn it.
  14. Dirk plays like a god when we play the Mavs, though to be honest, I would rather have Dirk play in this game, other wise if we win, it wont mean as much.
  15. RIP, it's always sad to see someone so young pass away.
  16. Wasn't able to see this game as I was out shopping but it looks like I missed a good win.
  17. Dude, I know what you mean. The Blazers love getting nervous with the second unit in the game and they shoot stupid [expletive] shots, get really cocky and blow the lead. Then they expect Roy to save the game. It's annoying. Another thing the Blazers like to do, throw away double digit leads and end up losing. It's so frustrating watching the Blazers as they go up by 15-18 points and then when it's half time or end of the third, we're either losing or the lead is 2-5.
  18. Wow, we've retaken the lead, Bayless is going insane right now.
  19. This will be a tough game for sure but hopefully we can keep it competitive. Also, we'll get to see how Frye has been doing, it'll be fun watching Frye and Aldridge go at it back and forth like they used to do in practice.
  20. I really like Kevin Martin, he's a great player, but does seem a bit selfish (maybe an understatement?). Though, once he comes back, I think Martin and Evans will make a great duo in the back court, then to add in Nocioni, Thompson, and a raw Hawes, they look decent.
  21. Just read this on CNN and damn...Very sad. Didn't know who he was but to have someone so young die like that, definitely gotta feel for the family. RIP
  22. No way is Ariza a number one option. Real already explained it very well, he needs to feed off of better players.
  23. It's really tough, right now, I'd go with Scola. He's got great post moves, knows how to play the game, and has a better attitude. I saw the dude play in person (Rockets @ Blazers) and damn...he killed us with his post moves, they were beautiful. Plus, in my opinion, right now, he's got a better mid range jumper than Beasley. Though Beasley does have far more potential and a better future, Scola wins right now.
