  1. They ruined the channel. I liked watching shows like Boy Meets World, Smart Guy, etc...But now...It's a joke. My sister watches that channel constantly...Every show is never funny. The acting is terrible beyond terrible.
  2. I'm somewhat curious to see who we would deal for Lee. I would think maybe Outlaw and Rudy...But I hope not. I mean, I like Lee and what not but where would he play? Maybe got big with Miller, Roy, LaMarcus, Lee, and Oden as LaMarcus likes to hit that mid range jumper...I don't think it'd work but let's see what happens.
  3. Bob Barker only agreed to be in the movie if he won the fight, otherwise it was a no deal. Great movie though.
  4. I suppose, but you gotta see some of the calls he gets though. He'll have a great season this year though.
  5. You're comparing Dusty Rhodes (63 years of age with many many years of wrestling experience) to Bob Barker (85 years of age with NO wrestling experience at all)? Yeah, I can definitely see Ortan giving an RKO to Barker...
  6. What a douchebag. Jeez...it's just a kid...I'd like to see someone slap him multiple times in the face and see how he likes it.
  7. Well, if you watched as many Blazer games as I have (in which I watched about 95% of the season), you'll know that there were a lot of ticky tacky fouls called on Oden, ones that players like Yao or Dwight would NEVER get...hell, not even Zydrunas would get the calls Oden was getting. His defense is great, just got called for a lot of dumb fouls...plus he was still learning as well. So I stand by my statement, Oden will be better than Westbrook and more than likely Harden. Though I do think Harden has a ton of potential as well.
  8. I think Oden will be better than Westbrook and Harden. I also think Harden will be better than Westbrook as well. Again, I'm biased, lol.
  9. Holy crap. Definitely gonna watch this one.
  10. Sounds interesting, I may join for one...I may not. We'll see though. Anything special for winning or just bragging rights?
  11. Definitely Roy and definitely the Blazers. Call me a homer but it's how I feel. We have Roy, LaMarcus, Oden, Rudy, Outlaw, Bayless, Martell as our main young core. Then you have people like Pryzbilla and Blake (Dre will be gone in 5 years and who knows, maybe other players like Joel and Steve will be gone too, you could also say that about the Thunder as well). In five years, the Blazers will be much better than the Thunder. No questions asked. Durant maybe the better player in 5 years due to his limitless potential, but the Blazers will always be better than the Thunder. No doubt in my mind at all.
  12. Well, according to Wiki, he was a DJ (obviously) and he DJ'd a lot of celeb parties and what not. Was in a serious plane crash along side Travis Barker (drummer from Blink-182) in which he survived and then they are speculating that he did a Heath Ledger and OD'd on prescription drugs (I think, going off memory). It's sad really.
  13. Just found out about this. Didn't really know who he was but it's always sad to see someone so young to pass on. R.I.P. Adam Goldstein (I looked it up on Wiki)
  14. I'd vote for Pac and Hendrix. And I laughed at the boy bands, hahaha.
  15. I'm kind of in between on the matter. While I do think it's one of the most selfish acts a person could do and I feel people shouldn't feel bad for those that commit the act, I somewhat do feel bad for them still. It's like, you don't know what that person was going through. Whether it be someone getting bullied a lot, or someone going through an addiction problem (my uncle was going through a heavy drug problem and hung himself because he obviously felt he wouldn't be able to get through it), or if a loved one just recently died and feel they can't go on living without that person. You never know the full situation. So I'm in between, while I do think it's selfish, part of me wants to feel bad for the person, especially the families and friends involved in it. Keep the discussion going, liking both points of views on this.
  16. I'd like to recommend a couple for the rock side...Slash of Guns N Roses/Velvet Revolver, Randy Rhoads of Ozzy Osbourne, or Jimi Hendrix of the Jimi Hendrix Experience.
  17. So what are your thoughts on suicide? What would you do if a member posted on the boards saying that they werre going to kill themselves tonight? I mean, obviously there isn't a whole lot you can do since your hundreds of miles away but what would be the first thing you would do or say? Obviously, people would think it was a joke at first and mock the person...But what if he really did do it? I've had a family member commit suicide in the past (at least 10 years ago or so) and it's a tough thing to go through especially at the age I was at and I can only imagine what my cousin's had to go through (it was their dad). Anyways, have you ever had thoughts of suicide? Had a family or friend commit suicide? And no, I'm not thinking about suicide and I never have, I just thought it might be a good discussion on the topic as it's kind of a hard subject to talk about.
  18. Looking good man, keep up the work. It's definitely appreciated.
  19. Come on Courtney, what's done is done. Realize the NBA is a business. You're going to get traded. I mean, look at QRich.
  20. For 22mpg, he put up some pretty good stats for a rookie year behind Joel. I expect Oden will have a fantastic year this season and could very well be most improved player of the year. I'm very eager for this damn season to start already....jeez.
  21. It'd be nice for Hamed to get a chance in the NBA...unfortanely for him there are much better bigs in the NBA.
  22. Mad Dog should of been the starter for this team. Biggest mistake of their franchise...
  23. I have a nerf one hanging from my door right now. I haven't shot on it in ages because I can't find the ball.
