Nope. Kickstart My Heart - Motley Crue

Yeah, my problem is practicing consistantly. Before I got the tabs for Pork and Beans (which was last night), I hadn't picked up my guitar in about a month. Though, it's an easy riff and I'm sure I'll get it down sometime in a week or so. I just need to keep practicing everyday. Maybe sometime, if you don't mind, I'd like to hit you up on AIM for a couple of pointers every now and then.

Was wondering if anyone here plays or has played any musical instruments. Back during 6th, 7th, and 8th grade, I played the trumpet. I wasn't good at it but I wasn't really bad at it. I was about in the middle of the group (we were ranked by how good we were). It was fun and cool but when I got to high school, I knew it wasn't for me, so I stopped playing. About a year or so ago, I read a book titled "Slash" which is the autobiography of Slash the guitar player from Guns N Roses and Velvet Revolver. After I read that book, it made me want to play guitar. So I bought an Epiphone Les Paul Special II that came with an amp and case. For the first month, I tried learning to play it but decided I'd find a tutor. So I found a tutor and took lessons for about a month in a half before stopping because the tutor was quitting the tutor company (I took his number and was going to set up private lessons). Right now I can play the openings to Seven Nation Army by The White Stripes. It's pretty easy and basic. Just tonight, I taught myself the beginning of Pork and Beans by Weezer as that's pretty easy and basic (can't play it as well as Seven Nation but I'm getting there). So I'm really getting into guitar and I'm loving it. Anyone else play anything?

Why is your username, Your username?
Dr. Feelgood replied to Revis Island's topic in Off-Topic Discussion Forum
I used to go by Shorty (on other forums) for about 3 years or so and I later added in Sir to make it Sir Shorty. There is a story behind the name Shorty but no need as I don't go by it anymore. I then decided to go by Dr. Feelgood (this is the first forum I've registered as Dr. Feelgood). Dr. Feelgood is the name of a Motley Crue song, it's one of my favorites from them. Dr. Feelgood is actually a drug dealer from the song. Mick Mars is in my top 3 favorite guitar players and he's the one that's playing in the song, so I decided to go with the name. I like it. -

Roy: Miller Brings Leadership Blazers Need
Dr. Feelgood replied to Warren2ThaG's topic in Portland Trail Blazers Team Forum
I couldn't agree with Roy any more than I do. Miller is the perfect fit for a team like the Blazers. -

I started liking Gilbert before he got really really popular. He was still a good player but wasn't popular. It didn't click for me yet on how good he was until I was playing NBA Live (I can't remember which one) and I did a draft in which I decided to take Arenas in the draft. It was so much fun playing with him on the game that I decided to check him out on Youtube, researched some more about him and became a big fan. His game is really fun to watch and I love it. Greg Oden...just a monster. I remember my friend was watching a Youtube clip of him back when he was still in high shcool and was like "Man, I wish our team would suck just one more year to get him" and I was like "Dude, we'll never get him"...And we win the lotto. So I became a big fan of the guy, his game will come around and he'll finally turn into that explosive player he once was.

LeBron hints he'll explore free agency
Dr. Feelgood replied to magicbalala245's topic in Cleveland Cavaliers Team Forum
I would take them any day because I feel the Blazers have a better team in the long run. Sure, the Cavs are better now but like I said, I feel in a couple of years the Blazers will be better than the Cavs with all their young depth on the bench (Rudy, Bayless, then add in Pryz, Outlaw, and Blake that aren't young but damn good). So yes, the Cavs have a better team but the Blazers WILL have a better team in a couple of years. -

Dr. Feelgood replied to magicbalala245's topic in Cleveland Cavaliers Team Forum
Yeah, that's me saying I'd take the Blazers over the Cavs any day. I still would. I did say that the Blazers will have a better team than the Cavs in a couple of years but I didn't say now. -

I didn't say the Blazers have a better team. What the hell are you talking about? I just said that I would much rather take the Blazers over the Cavs if I was a new GM and both teams were available. And I said I was just over rating my team like you've been over rating yours. The Cavs aren't an epitome of a perfect team. If they were the epitome of a perfect team, wouldn't they have won already in the 4 straights years? Yeah, they aren't. They wont win it this year either. They wont win it next year as well. -
The Lakers should play with a lineup of Kobe, Artest, Odom, Gasol, and Bynum for an entire month as a starting five...Or maybe the whole season. :x
