I laughed out loud when I read that. Definitely not Beaverton...I've only been to Tigard a couple of times but Gresham is definitely better.

Not far at all depending on where you're at. From where I live to the Rose Garden, it's about a a half hour drive. If you do move to Oregon, I'd definitely say either Portland or Gresham.

I was really pissed off that they couldn't tell me more...Kind of a waste of time really. :-/

Got my first major knee injury playing basketball last night. The first game, the best player on the court went down with an ankle injury and was done, so I filled in for him (this making me the best player on the court, a couple of the other guys who are better either no showed or are injured). This game, I had 3 of our 11 points. Second game starts, I score. I go to turn around and get on defense, my foot gets caught on my shoe lace and I trip landed very awkwardly on my knee. I heard a crack. I was on the floor for about 5 minutes before being helped to the side. I had never felt a pain like this before. I dunno if I tore anything as the doctor at the ER wasn't able to tell but he said nothing was broken (obviously) and gave me a prescription of heavy dosage of ibuprofen. My knee still [expletive]ing hurts. I know I wont be able to play for at least a month, if not longer.
