Chris Paul Requests Trade to Knicks
Dr. Feelgood replied to magicbalala245's topic in General NBA Discussion
What's with players these days trying to take the coward way out? It gets annoying and makes the league become less balanced....I lost a lot of respect for Anthony when he did this to the Nuggets...and now I'm losing a ton of respect for Chris Paul. It's bullshit. -

Had a guy deliver bubble wrap to the warehouse. I scribbled some lines. When he asked me to spell my last name, I gave him "F-O-C-K-O-F-F"...I'm sure he'll notice it when he goes back into his truck.

How was that trade bad for the Nuggets? They won more games after that trade than the Knicks did (I'm pretty sure). -
Portland Close to Waiving Brandon Roy
Dr. Feelgood replied to Warren2ThaG's topic in Portland Trail Blazers Team Forum
No, I totally understand it...I just think we should hold off on it instead of making a decision so quickly. Keep him this year, if he doesn't work out, cut him next year. We don't have to use the amnesty clause right away. We could use it 3 years from now if we wanted to. I guess what I was getting at, but failed to say so in my previous post, is that I don't want to cut Roy right now. Give him an opportunity to prove himself, to see if he still has anything left in the tank, which I know he does. He can still provide 17-19 a game, easily. If it doesn't work out this year, then sure...make that business decision and cut him. It's just hearing all these rumors that they want to be done with him right now and not even give him a shot....is what's pissing me off. We have so many options here...just gotta really think about it instead of going for it right away. -
Portland Close to Waiving Brandon Roy
Dr. Feelgood replied to Warren2ThaG's topic in Portland Trail Blazers Team Forum
I’m going insane thinking about all these [expletive]ing rumors that we might cut Brandon Roy from the team…I will die a little lot inside…He’s still got plenty of game left in him. If Paul Allen decides to cut Roy…Portland will riot. Our fan base is just insane, so many people are behind Roy. He’s carried our team for so long, dug us out of the Jail Blazers era, turned us from league embarrassment to guaranteed playoffs every year. He put the team on his back, put his heart and soul into the team…and this is how we’re going to thank him? I understand the NBA is a business, but come on. He’s the face of the city of Portland, not just the Blazers. When you have one of the NBA’s best EVER (Kobe Bryant) saying that “Brandon Roy is the hardest player to guard, and that there are NO weaknesses to his game”, that’s something special. I just don’t know what I’m going to do if Roy is cut from the Blazers…it’ll be one of the saddest days in Trail Blazer history if it happens. -
Clippers Want Dwight Howard

That really is terrible. The Hornets would never accept that. They'd at the very least demand Eric Gordon for Chris Paul. -

So last night, I went and played ball with my buddy and a couple of his co-workers. And I made one of his co-workers look absolutely silly on the defensive end. Now granted, he clearly doesn't play the sport nearly as much as I do. He wasn't bad as he had a deceivingly quick first step to his drive that for some reason was tough to block. Anyways, we were playing 21. I've got the ball, my buddy Brent is in the paint waiting for me to drive, and his co-worker John is guarding me. I give him a little crossover and he bites, I come back and go behind my back to create a little more space, which I do. At this point, he's already stumbling a little, so I cross to my right as if I'm going to drive in. He spins around to try and keep up with me but I come back real quick and he has officially lost me. Does not know where I'm at. I hold the ball at the three point line and I look at my buddy, and the both of us let out a chuckle. I shoot the three and make it (thankfully). I've now got 18 points and all I've got to do is make the three to win the game, which I do. Final score, 21-4-1. After he left, my buddy and I just started laughing. I asked him what it looked like on his side and he said it looked really beautiful. I of course thanked John for the great game, gave him multiple high fives. He was a great sport about it. The game of 21 was more competitive than the score makes it out to be. I had just tipped both of them from around 8-10 points each back to 0 and then caught fire and couldn't miss. At one point, the score was 11-10-8 (with me in the lead). So yeah, a great night.
