KHL's Lokomotiv Yaroslavl Plane Crashes (43 Killed)
Dr. Feelgood replied to EastCoastNiner's topic in Hockey Forum
Honestly, I think everyone, at one point, has thought about that. RIP to those lost, it's a huge tragedy. Such terrible news. -
My mom has about 14k on her 120gb iPod right now. She's not even close either but it always still adding new stuff. I've been helping her and anytime we come across a new band, we get their entire discography.

Do you think he still has anything left in him? He didn't play that much in Detroit, barely even got any playing time (which boggles my mind as he was healthy). I honestly still think he has game and I'd like to see him go to a team that needs him and could use him. Not a stupid power house team like Boston, Miami, or LA...I'd like to see him maybe go back to New York to play with Billups, Melo, and Amare. Or maybe Memphis, an up and coming team that could certainly use him (whether he starts or comes in as a 6th man). He needs to go to a team that will give him the playing time he deserves. My mind is still boggled as to why he even signed with Detroit...Hopefully he goes to a team better than stupid Detroit.

This is the starting five I would go with... PG - Ricky Rubio, no doubt in my mind. They traded away Johnny Flynn to make room for him. They also have Luke Ridnour as a great back up and mentor for Rubio as well as Telfair, who I still like a lot (always will I suppose). Rubio will prove to be a great asset for the team. He wont have to score as much (which is good because he doesn't have a jumper, definitely needs work on that) and will have Love, Williams, and Beasley to feed the ball to. SG - Martell Webster, a seasoned veteran who can shoot the three as well as drive into the lane. Sure, maybe Wesley Johnson should get the start but he's still a little raw for my liking. You can't say Johnson is younger in age because they're both the same age at 24. Maybe start Johnson and let Martell finish the games? I've seen Martell play a lot and I think he's much more of a proven player...maybe I'm a bit biased? SF - Michael Beasley, sure, he's still a bit of a headcase but he's slowly....slowly....slowly maturing and he's still one of the better scorers on this young Minny team. I'd say he'll be the team's second leading scorer still, even over Williams. I still believe, just a little bit, that he's still got what it takes to be the player he was hyped up to be...or maybe they should just trade him away...who knows. PF - Derrick Williams, (you can switch Beasley and Williams but I'd start these two together) I'm definitely intrigued as to what kind of player Williams will be. I thought he should have gone to the Cavs with the number one pick and then they take Brandon Knight, but they obviously didn't see it that way and Minny got a steal, especially because Williams expressed that he thought he would have been a good fit with the Cavs. He's clearly the best player in this rookie class and he's gonna be damn good. C - Kevin Love, with Kevin at center, Williams at PF, and Beasley at SF, you're gonna be a run and gun team. I don't see any reason as to why Kevin isn't the leader of the team, the main focus along with Williams as well. He can shoot the three, is a rebounding monster, and isn't afraid to bang with the big boys in the paint. He's one of my favorite current players in the league right now. He's still going to have a damn good year for Minny. They definitely got the better end of that trade with Memphis.

Your thoughts on who should start for this young Minnesota team. Your thoughts as to how much they'll improve. You've got standout rookies in Derrick Williams and Ricky Rubio, you've got the league's leading rebounder and All-Star Kevin Love. Wild card Michael Beasley, still have Wesley Johnson and Martell Webster along with one of the league's leader in blocks, DARKO...Not to mention one of the most underrated players EVAR in Sebastian Telfair...Who should start and finish games in crunch time? How much will this team improve?

Cannot believe Oregon got ass raped as bad as they did. I didn't get a chance to watch the game but I was pretty much getting a play by play update from my friend via text and it just didn't sound good at all. Ouch....

Well, I'm now going to be looking for a new job, after working with the same company for 4 years, I feel I've overstayed my welcome. There are going to be big changes happening and I'm NOT going to stick around to see them. I refuse.

If Kobe went to the Clippers...
Dr. Feelgood replied to Karl Malone's topic in General NBA Discussion
Well, Gilbert Arenas was considering them but decided to go with the Wizards after he flipped a coin to make his decision. I imagine things would have been different for the Clipps if they got Gil back when he was first an FA off of the Warriors. -
Need help with this girl
Dr. Feelgood replied to CaliCurbStomppa's topic in Off-Topic Discussion Forum
Wow...that was one of the most difficult things to read...ever. Please tell me you were under the influence of something, whether it be alcohol or drugs, because that was just a mind [expletive] of a post. Anyways, I think I pretty much got the gist of it. Take things slow with this girl if you feel that's what you need to do with her. Keep going on dates, eventually, things will pick up. She'll become more interested in you the more dates you go on (assuming you're not a complete tool or dick hole). Maybe try and get an on going inside joke with her. I know it helps as that's what I did with my last girlfriend. Sorry I couldn't give more advice but good luck. -

For How Long Is a Post 'Active'?
Dr. Feelgood replied to Sħãlïq™'s topic in Feedback and General Support
I'm pretty sure your post count was adjusted by Real to indicate how many posts you've had since OTR first opened up. While you've only made 1,442 posts since the new OTR opened, I imagine you've had 10,170 since Real started OTR...would be my guess. -

Funny Ways You've Hurt Yourself
Dr. Feelgood replied to ?QuestionMark?'s topic in Off-Topic Discussion Forum
When I was about...8-9 years old (maybe younger), I bet my friend he couldn't hit the tree with the baseball by hitting it with a bat...I got in the way and he cracked me in the head, right above my eye, I had to get stitches and I've still got the scar on my eyebrow. Again, when I was around 8-9 years old, was running in the house, about to go outside to play, tripped on my shoelace and hit my forehead on a tack that was in the wall...still have the scar on my head. When I was like...6-7 years old, my older cousin and I were playing power rangers at our parents friend's house, they had a bunch of chopped logs and wood in their backyard. So naturally, like boys do, we play on them. Well, my thumb was under one of the logs and my cousin jumped on it (without knowing my hand was there), crushed my thumb and eventually the nail fell off. My thumb nail now grows slower and looks different from the other nails. Though, it was sort of a blessing in disguise as it always helped me remember which hand was my right hand growing up...the [expletive]ed up hand. -
