GM5: Portland (2) @ Phoenix (2)
Dr. Feelgood replied to Real Deal's topic in Phoenix Suns Team Forum
I've heard that Roy will start tomorrow but we'll see how things go. We've won without Roy and we've also lost. It'll be interesting to see how we do with Roy. -
GM4: Dallas (1) @ San Antonio (2)
Dr. Feelgood replied to Real Deal's topic in San Antonio Spurs Team Forum
Paul Allen goes to like...90% of Portland's home games, and sometimes even away games. -
Okay, I had an argument with my friend, whom I'm now believing is slightly mentally challenged... Suppose this happens. Carmelo Anthony and LeBron James both have season ending injuries at the start of this season. Neither player has played a single game of the season and do not have the slightest chance at all at making a return for the season. Which team between the Denver Nuggets (No Anthony) and the Cleveland Cavaliers (No James) would have the better record? Keep in mind, the Cavs do have Antawn Jamison and Shaq at the beginning of THIS season. He claims the Nuggets would not only have the better record than the Cavs, but would make the playoffs without Carmelo Anthony. I say that the Cavs would indeed have the better record between the two teams and with how much weaker the East is, they could potentially still make the playoffs as a lower seed (7-8). Billups, Smith, Afflalo, Martin, Nene VS Williams, West, Moon, Jamison, O'Neal I'd like to hear some thoughts on this.

Yes they would. -
That would be pretty freaking sweet.

It's only disappointing if you're a Mavs fan, which I'm going to assume because JKidd is your favorite. But I'm loving this series as I would much rather play the Spurs than the Mavs. Except the Spurs are playing very very good basketball (I'm assuming we beat the Suns, lol). I knew the Spurs weren't going to go down easy just because of a lackluster season. I knew they were going to fight hard but damn...did NOT expect them to go up 3-1. George Hill is something else. It was very entertaining watching this kid play. -

I went to a sports restaurant with a couple buddies of mine and my cousin and this game was awesome. Was very risky playing Roy since he had surgery just 8 days ago but damn...LaMarcus finally turned it on. -
Suns Worried Amar'e Could Face Punishment
Dr. Feelgood replied to The Regime's topic in Phoenix Suns Team Forum
Just reported on ESPN.com that he received a flagrant 1 foul for the elbow, which is one point. Three points results in a suspension, so I guess two more flagrant one fouls or a flagrant two and he misses a game. It was a very punk move by Amare and I honestly think he should of been suspended. He was inches away from hitting LaMarcus square in the face. -
Obviously it's a risk they're willing to take. Has to be loads and loads of fun though. I wonder what it pays though.

David Stern wanted the Suns to win in Portland. The game was completely rigged, you could tell by the crap officiating. Stern has a grudge on the Blazers, he hates them! That's why we lost! No, we got our asses kicked pretty good at home. The Suns are healthy while the Blazers are missing Oden, Joel, Roy, and mostly Batum. You gotta admit, if we were healthy, it was probably be the other way around, 2-1 in favor of Portland. I do think we'll tie the series up for game 4. It's just gonna be more difficult now that we lost home court advantage. -
Oh man, you're way funny! 1. Brandon Roy 2. Andre Miller 3. Steve Nash 4. Shane Battier 5. Chauncey Billups
-
He has a lot of work to do though. Definitely needs to get stronger, definitely needs to mature some more. I could see it but I just don't think it'll happen.

He's become a real douchebag lately. I hope he gets suspended. Then we'll see what kind of team the Suns are without one of their best players... -

Amare is a punk. At the very least, he needs to be fined for throwing that elbow that was inches from hitting his face. If KG gets suspended, something needs to happen to Amare. Just inches away from hitting LaMarcus in the face with a VERY intention elbow. -

Batum is playing hurt right now and he hurt his shoulder again and probably wont return. LaMarcus is playing way to soft, every time he gets double teamed, he passes it out right away instead of taking it to the main defender and going in. 35-62. -

Getting smashed by the Suns right now at home. 20 point game. -

I just don't see the Suns winning in Portland to be honest. -
GM3: LA Lakers (2) @ Oklahoma City (0)
Dr. Feelgood replied to Real Deal's topic in Oklahoma City Thunder Team Forum
I could see the Thunder winning a game at home. I could also see this being a 4 game series. The Thunder need to start strong right when the game begins. If they let the Lakers hang around, they'll lose. -
Aaron Brooks officialy wins MIP Award

Not more than Brooks though. He was the Rockets. Glad he won. -

Can't wait for this game. It's going to be BIG. We'll likely NOT have Batum, so chalk up another injury for the Blazers but if we can get guys to step up (Rudy and Martell), then I think we can get this one. Plus, we're at home and the Rose Garden is one of the toughest buildings to play in. -
Brooks to be Named Most Improved Player
Dr. Feelgood replied to Doc's topic in Houston Rockets Team Forum
Very nice. I love Brooks and definitely think he deserves this award. He put the Rockets on his back pretty much. -
Definitely Nate. 50 win season with Oden, Przybilla, Outlaw (when he was with us), Rudy, Roy, Batum, Pendergraph, Cunningham, Mills, Nate himself, Camby all missing games is amazing. To be two seeds lower than you were last season despite all that's happened to us, I'd like to see another team do that.
-
Well, Batum got hurt, hopefully it's nothing to serious. We got SPANKED.

What team(s) are you rooting for in the playoffs?
Dr. Feelgood replied to Dash's topic in General NBA Discussion
Blazers Bobcats Bucks Magic In that order. I don't care for anyone in the West. If I had it my way, I'd like for all 7 teams that aren't the Blazers to lose in the first round and Portland just advance to the finals because we're so awesome, but things don't work that way. I do not want the Lakers, Cavs, or the Celtics to win at all. -
USA Region Round 3: 1. Kim Kardashian vs 6. Stacy Keibler
Dr. Feelgood replied to Flash's topic in Off-Topic Discussion Forum
Not me. I just don't like Kim all that much. I would pretty much vote for anyone else BUT Kim in this tournament. Sure, she's great but she's not SO FREAKING FINE THAT I'M GOING TO VOTE LOWER SEED JUST TO SEE HER LOSE!!!!!
