I definitely agree with Real on the whole bust issue. He nailed it right on the head. Players that have had the chance to play, the chance to try and live up to their potentials but haven't, are a bust (Darko, Olowakandi, Kwame, etc). Players that have been hampered down by injuries their whole career aren't a bust in my opinion. You can't control if you get hurt or not. You can control how good you become by always working out, always staying in top physical condition, working your [expletive] off every chance you get whether you're playing out the last 2 minutes of the game or you're playing 25-30+ minutes.

Gotta agree with GamerGuy about people not having anything better to do than to start crap like that. Seriously, what's the point of trying to bring down a forum community that's about the sport that they love (I assume the people that posted that are older members from OTR) just because they probably can no longer post here. Pointless and a complete waste of time. People need to grow up and go outside once in awhile.

When I get images, I always re-upload the image through imageshack's url uploading and use the image that way. Like what was mentioned, some websites don't allow hotlinking and therefor the image wont show up anywhere else.

Not only was I pulling for NJN to get their 10th of the season, it happened to move Portland up the standings. Awesome.

It's different. I really liked the previous skin a lot but I think this one will definitely grow on me. I also like how you made each team forum look with the faded logos. Badass man. Keep up the great work.

Man, Singler was ice cold. It seemed like he couldn't hit anything from anywhere. At least they got the win.

Bayless finally making something happen. Though, he's been getting bumped a lot by the Thunder players and not getting any foul calls.

I can't wait for this game but hopefully we can get out to a quick start.

I mainly want Duke to win because of Singler. He's from Oregon and I like supporting locals. Which is why I followed UCLA for a year when Love was with them and why I like to check the boxscores for Minny games. I hope Singler goes to college for all four years, it'll greatly improve his game and he'll hopefully be a top 20 pick after his fourth year.

Watched this game at Buffalo Wild Wings with a couple of friends. Seems like New Orleans just isn't competitive anymore.

I used to post on this message board called Sharpshooter. I posted there for the past 4-5 years and it was based around wrestling. I told myself I'd never find another forum as good as SS if it were to shut down. Well, it did. So for a year after it closed down, I had been trying to find another board to post on, trying to find a place were I thought I could fit in and contribute to some good discussions. I tried a couple that I for sure thought I'd stick around on but I lost interest quickly with those. So I went back to one of the older forums that a past SS member runs and tried to get into that one. I found myself always posting basketball discussions in the "All Sports Topics" with hardly anyone commenting back. Legacy showed me OTR and I instantly knew this was going to be the new forum I'd find myself posting at. So if this place were to shut down, I think I would just stick with my sim league and the one other forum I help run (but hardly post on). I check OTR daily (I need to get into a better habit of posting more, no excuses really) and anytime I see some breaking news on ESPN.com or NBA.com, I instantly come here to check for a topic made. It would be a shame to have this place shut down. It truly would be, especially after all it's been through.

I laughed at the little comic. Anyways, I'm happy for him. Gil isn't a bad guy at all, he just has very poor judgment. He's still one of my favorite players and I will continue to have his jersey hanging on my wall.
