Let me know when you get it. You can catch me on AIM around Mon-Fri at 9PM EST. My AIM is STelfair333.

The game, Draft Day Sports: Pro Basketball 1 (there is a version 2 out but I haven't gotten it and I don't have much experience with it) costs $19.99. I do believe that once you get the license for the game, you can use the license twice as I used my first one on my older laptop (a month later, it died on me) and now I'm using my new one and I used the same license. So do keep that in mind if you guys plan on using DDS:PB. If you decide to use FBB, I wont be able to help you as I don't have any experience with that game. Here are some examples of what the stats page looks like in DDS. Player card - Yao Ming Team Roster Player Ratings What a typical boxscore looks like So obviously you get a very in depth game compared to FBB but you gotta pay for it. So let me know if you guys are truly interested in a DDS:PB OTR Sim League and let me know when the simmer(s) have purchased the game and we can get started. You also might want to determine if you're going to use original rosters or go with a draft. In my league, we mapped out the draft into 12 days, 1 day for each round. GMs had a 30 minute time window throughout the day to draft a player. If they didn't make their time, the pick would be auto-picked. It was great and it assured that each GM got the true team they wanted. Or you can hold the draft within 1-3 days. However you want to do it. Let's get some ideas thrown around as to what you guys want to happen.

My guess as to why leagues here never work out, is because there was probably only one person simming. With 2-3 people simming and running the league, leagues last longer and give the people simming a little less stress since they know they would have a back up. Also, keep a consistent sim time is very good. The only way I would start a league here is if people were definitely willing to take over the league. I can teach you how to import depth charts and what not, how to upload the files (via an FTP program), etc. But there is no way I can sim for the league. Especially since March is my month to sim for my league (we alternate months). Also, the off season can be a b**ch to get through as well, having to upload the rookie file and what not. DDS:PB leagues can be tough to maintain, so it's something that definitely takes time to keep going.

I had Silver version back when the games first came out, so I think I'm gonna go with Heart Gold this time around.

Raps shot 74% in the first quarter while the Blazers shot 47%...The Blazers have a 2 point lead, .

I would love to help run it but I wouldn't have the time to help run a 2nd league. Trust me, I've often thought about starting up a sim league for this website (of course talking it over with Real first) but I've always come to the conclusion that I wouldn't have time to run the league and I wouldn't want to start something and get people's hopes up only to say "Sorry, I don't have time to do it anymore".

I would recommend using the game Draft Day Sports: Pro Basketball as it's the most in depth game out there for starting a league. If you want to check out what a DDS:PB league looks like, check out my league. Though, it does take a very dedicated commish. Mine has been going for 3 years and we have 3 commishs. So it takes more than one person to run it. Having only one person do the simming and what not definitely takes a toll on the person. Having 2-3 makes things much easier.

Great pick up for the Bobcats.

This game isn't even close right now in the fourth quarter. The Blazers have the best record in the NBA on back to backs for the 2nd game.

Love the win for Milly as they beat the Jazz who are a NW rival. Thanks for the win guys!

Game set and match baby. Dre Miller finally took advantage of Monta's 5 fouls and got him out of the game. Then LaMarcus wised up and got Spaghetti out of the game and that's it. -
Was about to say this after reading the post above Real's....

So far, this game has been very close. The score has been going back and forth. Right now currently though, Maggette is showing that he CAN'T guard Juwan Howard, hah! Two straight post ups by Howard on Maggs. He's trying to get Spaghetti his third foul, I like that strategy. This is a fun game to watch. -
Someone gets it, lol. It's obvious Jack knows everyone knows that Sactown is in Cali. He was just talking [expletive].

I knew this wasn't true because I had just been on ESPN and if it was true, it would of been on there. But that's awesome, hahah. -
What is your team's record when you attend their games?

I've been to about 7 games and we've only lost 2, so 5-2. -

I do love the Pippen one too, just shoved it down his throat...with ease too. -
I'll admit, I check the forums daily but hardly post. I really just browse for a minute or two at work, then I tell myself "Remember to post back in that topic on OTR when you get home" but when I get home, I'm usually tired as heck, check my league, post a bit there, and then I get off the comp. My activity has even dropped on another website that I own that's about video gaming. Anyways, I'll be sure to do my part on the forums RD. Definitely keep up the great job you and the staff do on a nightly basis. It is appreciated more than you think by your members.

We should get this one no problem. It'll be weird to see Landy in a Kings uni though. -
Przybilla Re-Injuries Knee
Dr. Feelgood replied to Dr. Feelgood's topic in Portland Trail Blazers Team Forum
Probably because he still owns a house there, lol. Maybe he likes the city too. -
http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=4974921 In short, Przybilla was at his home in Milwaukee when he slipped in the shower and re-injured the same knee he hurt during the season. When he first hurt his knee, he was out 8 months. Now that he's re-injuried his knee, it's another 8 months or longer.

Terrible game for us. There were plenty of opportunities to get back into the game. Denver would get a run going, then get really cold from the field and we couldn't capitalize on it at all. Only so much you can do when your two best players don't show up.

Some very scary scary [expletive] right there. Good to hear he's alright. My thoughts are with him and his family.
