The agent for Brendan Haywood says that the center was suspended one game by the Mavericks after a heated discussion on Friday morning with coach Rick Carlisle. Agent Andy Miller said the dispute was a "one-time isolated discussion" that had nothing to do with Haywood's diminished role on the team in recent weeks. The Mavs made the announcement about an hour before tipoff Friday. Coach Rick Carlisle declined to reveal why the 10-year veteran was disciplined.
